Awesome place to stay with an amazing view!

This rental has an amazing view of the area and is in a great location on the mountain.

View when you enter and you look through the sliding door is Grandfather mountain with no street or house in front to distract the view. Cabin was perfect.

The house is very nice the view from deck are great. We seen deer every day. We will stay here again. Very comfortable beds sofas and kitchen equipped with all your needs. We stayed in july but early morning and night you need a jacket and pants 59 most morning at nights temperature drops quickly.

Easy communication during the set up process once arrived at the residence everything was exactly as it was going to be indicated the wide open space gave our family the ability to be together yet the separate little areas, dining room table, game table, beanbag couch I’ll gave the kids and adults a place to go on their own as well. The bedrooms were incredibly well appointed and the bathrooms phenomenal.

We had a very pleasant stay. Convenient fun location with great views.

Best location on the mountain.

We had a great weekend in this comfy spot tucked right on top of the mountains. Exceptional views, epic sunrise sighting from above the clouds and well located to the ski hill and a few eateries.

What an amazing stay!! We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) and spent Thanksgiving at Head in the Clouds. The experience exceeded all our expectations! The cabin is comfy, well-decorated, roomy, and fully equipped. The view from the large balcony is unparalleled and the seating is perfect to take in plenty of stress-reducing “zen” moments. The deer will visit every day for a quick feeding and picture session. The location is perfect to jump on the slopes, or to take a quick walk to the sledding hill, brick oven pizzeria, or a cute marketplace that has everything you need. The host, Colleen, was amazing. All communications and materials provided prior to stay were excellent and very informative. She was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating with any of our needs or requests. We will absolutely stay here again- 100% sure of that. Highly recommended. Thank you, Colleen!!

We loved the house and the location couldn’t have been more beautiful!

We’ve been to Beech Mt before for the summer and wanted to spend our Spring Break here so the kids could go snowboarding. It definitely didn’t disappoint. We knew it was towards the end of the ski season but there was a snow storm that came through a couple of days before we got here and so that left some snow on the ground and made the snowboarding fun and safer for the kids. The cabin’s layout was just perfect for our family of 4 kids. The slopes was just a very short walk away. The views were breathtaking and there was a family of 8 deers that would visit us twice a day and we would feed them the deer treats that the cabin had in stock. The only thing that was missing was a hot tub but overall it was a beautiful and cozy cabin. We will definitely be back to stay in this cabin.

Amazing 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath property with beautiful mountain views and easy access to slopes. Enjoyed watching movies with the family by the fireplace.

This was perfect for us. Family of 4 with 2 boys. Ease to get on and off slopes was great. Communication with host was perfect. Will book again!

This was everything and more than we could have imagined. The views were amazing and the house was so cozy with the cabin vibe. My husband, little one and I just loved opening the doors and relaxing by the fireplace. It was a great spot to disconnect from our work lives. We even got to see the first snow of the year! Colleen sent perfect instructions and expectations in advanced. She provided great recommendations too. I think she thought of everything a family would need. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back in the future.

We had a fantastic stay. The open floor plan of the main floor made it very easy to keep both of our kids entertained and have spectacular views. We had an issue with the property but the owners were very responsive which allowed us to enjoy our stay without interruption. We look forward to our next stay in the clouds!

Cabin was very nice and came with all the amenities you could need. Location was great, maybe 50 steps to the slopes on one side and great views of Sugar Mountain on the other side. Couldnt have been happier.

We had a great time and the house was wonderful. Great location (just up the street from the slopes - the run closest to the house is a blue). It’s about a 7 min drive to the bottom if you need to rent equipment. The house was super cozy and warm, there are heaters in all the rooms that work great and a fireplace in the living room that heats the main floor as well as a heater. The house was stocked thoughtfully with everything you need. There were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets which was super helpful for a great night sleep. The view is absolutely stunning. The kids loved the game closet and the chess table. We came with a 1 year old and were very appreciative of the optional baby gate at the stairs- thank you!

Place was fantastic and met all our expectations. Definitely would stay again.

The property was pristine and has literally everything you need for your stay provided. Owner is super responsive. Awesome views- maybe 150 foot walk to the ski slope. Perfect- we will be back. Highly recommend this property.

Awesome cabin, amazing views and great location!

We travel to Beech Mtn for boarding and skiing atleast once if not twice each year and this was by far our most favorite trip. The house was SO cozy, the sunrise views alone were worth renting this house for, the convenience of the slopes and food were great and the house was very clean, extremely organized including instructions on how to operate the home's amenities and the property owner made herself available as needed. WONDERFUL home! We WILL be back.

Head In the Clouds was perfect for our family ski trip. Colleen thought of everything in preparing us for our trip and the house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed everything about the cabin-style home, including the very modern and functional kitchen. The view is even better than the pictures, it is truly amazing and this particular house has only woods on the one side of it (not another home) so the privacy is exceptional. We certainly will hope to stay here again, maybe even in the fall or summer when the snow is gone to see this beautiful scenery in a different season. Thank you so much Colleen!
