Nice condo, just dated. Furniture is not comfortable for lounging, freezer’s ice maker wasn’t working, tv was not high def, but overall we had a good time. Plenty of room for everyone and a great view from our two patios. Stairs could use new coverings, old carpet looks dirty, nice wood stair treads would really make the stairway pop. Would stay again without hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. It was clean and comfortable. Kitchen appliances and washer & dryer worked. Carpet on steps could be replaced and bathrooms are dated but no issues. View was amazing! Pool could get crowded at times but then we’d head to the beach! A great spot for a family vacation. Very quiet at night.

Great location, easy access to beach and beautiful view

This property is great! It is a short 2 min walk to beach and pool right behind property. Property was clean- just needs some renovations to bathrooms- old cracking tile in tubs, old cabinets in bathrooms and kitchen. Just fyi, it is not on a ground floor, it starts on the 2nd floor, making hauling stuff to and from beach kind of difficult when you have multiple children and toys, umbrella, chairs, buggy etc to get down to the beach without an elevator. I knew going in it was going to be 3 stories, but just assumed it would start on the ground level. Just keep in mind when booking. If I wasn't hauling a ton of stuff, it would have been perfect for us.

The rental was as it was described. My family very much enjoyed it stay. I would recommend.

The place needs updating for sure. But, it is decent and in a good location.

They refunded a small portion of the rental price, but i would rather have air conditioning. No human contact and would not let me check in early, and i bet no one was in there before me because they definitely would have noticed the a/c not working. Will stay away from Vacasa in the future.

Check in was veery easy. Vacasa was constantly in touch with directions for check in, with any problems we should encounter. Vacasa was on top of everything. As for the condo this was extremely dated. The carpets were filthy the bathroom sinks were so old that they were stained. There was a slat missing on the front door so bugs could enter. Furniture was very old and marked up.

This is a great place and great location. I would highly recommend it.

Extremely good service from property management (emails, text) and super easy check-in. Property was very clean and the views from the decks were gorgeous. Only negative I can say is that carpet and cabinetry (kitchen & baths) were very outdated.

The location is great and condo is roomy. However, be prepared that it is a shabby condo. Carpet is awful and needs to be replaced. Some living room furniture is also worn and should be replaced. Parts of the condo seem to have been updated but it only makes the non updated areas glare. On a positive note the air conditioning works superbly which was wonderful. Management company is great. We a had an issue that they resolved swiftly and professionally.

This place was very grungy, appliances didn’t work, write-up overpromised and under-delivered, and overall it was overpriced. For the price we paid, we should have gone to Turks and Caicos. Shame on VRBO, Vacasa, and everyone else involved in the scam. You should be ashamed. We almost feel sorry for the owners -they probably have no idea how mismanaged this property is.

This was a great place to spend a week. The condo is exactly as described and convenient to everything Wild Dunes, IoP, Sullivans, Mt Pleasant and Charleston have to offer. I am not a huge fan of the gated community and the small traffic delays it creates but that is part of the package so no complaint. I would not hesitate to book this property again.

We were so impressed with this property! It was even better than pictured online. The grounds were stunning, wonderful pool and easy access to the beach. We especially loved the 3rd floor balcony, you could see for miles. We will definitely be back!

We rented two units at Mariner's Watch (Wild Dunes) for a family trip. The property is great! No issues with check-in, great pool and beach area. Very nice resort. The only issue we had is that on Saturday evening we tried to go out to eat and had a 1 hr and 30 min drive to get from Wild Dunes to the IOP connector to get off the island. With few dining options on the resort and heavy traffic to get off the island, we will probably avoid this location during peak beach season.

We enjoyed ourselves in this villa, but a warning to parents with small children, the stairs railings are spaced rather far apart making it very easy for them to slip between the posts, and rather dangerous from the upper levels if they aren’t watched well. Also, there is not an interior latch on the door to ensure small children do not open the door and go outside without guidance! Our 3 year old easily reached the door and opened it. Otherwise, it’s a very lovely, clean villa and would recommend for families with older children!

Problems with the unit were a new stove and unable to open the dish washer all the way since the door hit the stove door. When it rained all day on Monday we had several leaks in the living room. Called and they came and took pictures after putting out buckets to catch the water.

This condo was such a disappointment. When we walked in there was laundry left in the washer from the cleaners and the stairs were so filthy. The wallpaper was peeling all over the condo. There were stains on the ceiling in nearly every room. The filter going up the stairs was visibly very dirty. The refrigerator took more than 24 hours to cool down enough to put groceries in. While cooking the oven door would not stay shut. There was sand in the second bedroom sheets. There were a few positives. The view from the upper balcony was nice and the pool was also convenient.

Condo was roomy in great location and has awesome balconies. Kitchen and appliances need to be updated.

We would definitely stay here again.

There were a number of maintenance issues with the rental that were addressed while we were there.

So my family and I stayed here for the week of April 2-8 2019. The place is in a decent location with access to the beach. It’s overall impression about the condo was fair to mediocre far as cleanliness/maintained. There are several areas within the condo that needs some basic maintenance. The kitchen was very outdated and had limited basic cookware. We were without kitchen towels/wash cloths and had to use the bathroom towels for this. The outside pool was about 60 degrees and I had to bribe my kids with $$ to go into it. It would have been nice to have a few beach chairs/sand toys within the condo for use. The condo complex would greatly benefit having a spa/hot tub in the pool area.

The property is it terrible shape!! So many things wrong. Everything from the hot water barely lasting one long shower much less multiple showers. To lightbulbs being out, the fan being broke , the doors not opening well the kitchen is poorly stocked, the shower curtain wouldn’t even stay on the wall. some of The towels evennhad holes im them. Bathrooms a so dark its is desperate need of remodeling at least some TLC although was relatively clean it seems to be very old. The best part of this property is the beach that is located nearby the beach itself is absolutely beautiful !! A family friend place too.

We were evacuated for hurricane Florence and Angel, Souma and Ragam made it possible for us to come back to complete our vacation! They were very accommodating and helpful????

Rental condo was the worse we have ever been in at Wild Dunes. We have vacationed there many times. We still enjoyed everything else.

The view is spectacular! We enjoyed our morning walks and shelling on the beach . Our boys enjoyed there morning run along the beach. The condo was very nice a little to much furniture for my taste. The kitchen could use a few more pans to cook with and kitchen towels .
