This cotttage is located walking distance to the center of Seaside and beach access path. The screened porch and pool areas are nice, the interior of the cottage could use some paint in several areas and has some water damage on the floor in one of the bedrooms. The grounds are a bit overgrown, the bathrooms are small but clean, the galley kitchen is well equipped and the grocery store is very close. Overall it is a very nice home although a bit overpriced for its size and condition. It would be nice to have a net to clean the pool of leaves each day.

Wonderful house, close to beach, shops, restaurants. Great backyard pool and screened in front porch. Really felt like home for a week and logistically seamless with the property manager. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfectly located between the beach and the town square and easy to get to both by walking. It was just the right size for six people and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was well maintained and the girls had a blast! I would definitely recommend!!!

The house was just a short walk to the beach and had a nice, private back yard area/pool. Also the house’s proximity to dining and Central Square was very convenient. The house was clean, but some areas were a little worn out and could use some updates (floors, bathrooms, kitchen). Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Location, location, location! Awesome location! The house was absolutely wonderful and so was the private pool! If you’re planning to stay here be sure to reserve a golf cart in advance. We didn’t and almost didn’t get one. The only thing the owner needs to add is bicycles. We’ve stayed in Seaside in the past and the homes have always come with at least 2 bicycles. You can rent some anyway but I think there should be a couple provided. Having said that, it’s nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. As a matter of fact, I would check here first when we come again. The bicycles are only a suggestion. Everything on this house is “as advertised”. If it’s available, “RENT IT!”

My family stayed in this beach house for a week and it was perfect! The walk to the beach was just a few minutes and the pool was great for evenings. Seaside town square and shops are just a couple of streets over. Publix is a very short drive. Highly recommend this property.

My partner and I stayed a week at the Moondance with our two dogs. We wanted a nice, private feeling place but with close walking access to the beach and restaurants. This place was perfect! We had no issues with check in or when we stayed. The house is clean and in great shape. The pool in the back feels private and it is nice to swim in. Public access to the beach is a short walk. We had a lovely vacation and can’t wait to come back again!

Loved this little bungalow! Walkable to the beach and Seaside. We rode our bikes around everyday and loved the area. We will definitely book this place again!!!

The whole family enjoyed this vacation. The house was cute and well appointed. It was ideally located. Short walk to the beach. Evening walks around the neighborhood. Kids loved the pool. The screened in porch was ideal for afternoon happy hours.

We loved staying a this property. The location, beach, pool and screened porch. We really want to return but the beds were so uncomfortable we likely won’t until they are replaced. My husband and I are newly weds and we opted to sleep in the twin beds. 😂

Great location!!
Very short walk to Seaside and the beach - only about 3-4 blocks. Pool was nicely heated which was great since the weather was cool. The house is small - especially the bathrooms and bedrooms but it worked great for our family including 2 dogs. Fabulous location! Also the rental company was very responsive to a couple small maintenance issues- had someone out in less than an hour each time.

Seablue house
The property is very nice, perfect for a couple or small family. We had a brother in law visit for a couple days and we all enjoyed walks to the beach, biking, dining and just relaxing by the pool.
There was a lot of construction going on but not a problem. There are some tall trees in back of house shading pool but hoping they will get trimmed. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wonderful fall break
Absolutely wonderful location, just enough off the beaten path, but extremely convenient to shopping, the beach, etc. Loved the quaintness and charm of the place, and the private pool was awesome. Super clean, quiet, and had everything we needed.

Location great, although lots of construction in the area. Really enjoyed pool, but need hooks or something to hang wet towels, etc., outside. Beds and sofas not comfortable. Could use some updating.

Can't beat the location!
When the listing says you are close to Seaside town square and the beach, it isn't lying. You can't get a better location. The Dogwood/Thyme beach access seems to have less people on the beach than the surrounding areas. You can walk everywhere, including the Publix grocery store (1 1/2 miles round trip). The house is exactly as pictured. Even with 6 adults, we never felt cramped. The screened in front porch was a delight. We had a great time.

Great location and experience
The property is exactly like it’s shown. From the front porch to the pool the house many areas to relax. We are a family of 5 and it was perfect foe us. It’s about a 5 minute walk to beach. I thought that would be a downfall but it was seriously not an issue even with our kids. The beach entry seemed less crowded than other areas but I don’t know if that’s how it always is. You can take advantage of Seaside easily (maybe 2-3 minute walk). As far as the house goes it’s comfortable and provides what you need. If I were to be picky my only feedback is the decor could use an update and there was no pantry or towel hooks outside. Other than that the place is great and I would recommend to anyone.

Great Escape
What a great escape for our family! The online photos do not do “Moondance” justice......so much better in person. The house was well stocked with everything that we needed to prepare a few meals during the week. The heated pool was perfect any time of day. We were sad to leave after a totally relaxing week!

Small and Efficient
We had a very nice stay at Moondance. I stayed with my daughter and niece (both 20 yrs old), and it met all of our needs. There were a couple of issues and I left a message with the leasing company's answering service, but never heard back from them during regular business hours. This wasn't a huge deal, and we had a great stay. The house is close to everything and we used our equipment rental credit on bikes and beach equipment. All in all, a great couple of days at the beach!

Cozy retreat
My daughter and I spent a long weekend here. I rented the cottage primarily for the location (easy walking/biking distance to seaside and watercolor) and the private heated pool. It delivered on both counts! We experienced unseasonably cold and rainy weather (40-50 deg) but were still able to enjoy some shopping, meals out, and swimming - the pool heater worked really well! The cottage was cozy - the decor and furnishings are in need of updating, but everything was functional.

Cute cottage. Loved the front porch loved the location The chairs by the pool need to be replaced the wood is rotting. When sitting on one chair it broke because of the rotten wood and I’m not a big person
