Giving this property 5 stars would be a miscarriage of justice. A VAST understatement to say the least !!! The home the location, and most importantly the owners are phenomenal !!!! One concern, resolved quicker than a hiccup. The narrated You Tube video on the property that they have produced presents the property very well. I am coming back next year !!!

Nine family members celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday at this beautiful, spacious house. It can fit a lot more people than that though. There are views at every turn. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for big family meals. My brother put the high-quality grill to use. My mom used the elevator to check out the balconies on the third floor where you can see the ocean and waterway. She spent a lot of time on the gazebo in the shade watching us play in the ocean. The kids set up their video games downstairs. We played games at one of the huge tables. The deck is enormous with lots of chairs. We only left the house a couple of times. Lonerider Brewery is a three-minute walk and it’s right on the waterway. Great beer! We also ate out one night at Koko Cabana, which is attached to the Oak Island Pier, where we enjoyed mahi mahi and sword fish. The hosts are kind and very responsive. We recommend staying at Rhapsody in Blue! I hope to return one day.

House was clean, well equipped, and perfect four our family gathering. Only downside was we had to make the beds.

We loved our stay and the home was set up perfectly for multiple families. It was so kid friendly and stocked with kids books, games, a few toys, high chair and baby gates. The kitchen is perfect and huge and plenty of space to spread out and gather. It is stocked with everything you could need. The rooms are comfortable and everything was super clean!! The backyard area was great for the kids and it was so easy to access the beach. No big staircase so go down - you just step right onto the beach from the deck. The home location was perfect - secluded enough but also not too far from whatever you need. There is even a cool bar/restaurant that you can walk to! We loved the home and hope to return one day!!

We got married here and I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property was for an intimate wedding! Plenty of room, stunning views, and clean! It was everything I hoped for on our special day!

This beach front house is so spacious! It fit 4 families, with 10 kids total. Several closets are big enough for pack-n-plays for the babies. We had a great time. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and the location can’t be beat! Prompt responses from the owners and easy to work with. We’re tempted to book again for next year!

This is the first house in 30+ years that sleeps 20 and SEATS 20 as well as has a kitchen that is set up for 20+. We are used to bringing most of our supplies for cooking/ daily kitchen needs but, not in this house! The house is beautiful, the kitchen is fully stocked. The beds were comfortable, the couches were comfortable, the chairs were comfortable. I can't say enough what a great house this was for us !

Perfect location for our large family.

Enjoyed our short stay here. Host were very responsive to questions. Property was cleaned and well managed.

We stayed here with 12 adults + 8 kiddos ranging from 3 months to 5 years old. We loved the beach front location and the house had quite a bit of room for everyone. There were a few things that we were disappointed at: the listing provided the incorrect number of fridges (said 3, there was only 1) and that the 3rd floor does not have wifi. The hosts did contact us about these things but it did make the trip a bit more complicated than it needed to be. Overall though, great location and great place to stay with a large group!

We used Blue Rhapsody as our wedding venue and all of our dearest friends stayed with us. The weekend was amazing! The space was amazing and Rose and Larry were SO communicative, responsive and kind. One thing I will note is if you are considering this space for your event please keep in mind it is a residential area and the sound ordiance begins promptly at 10pm. It wasn't a problem for us because that was the time our reception ended - just something to keep in mind! A million thanks to Rose and Larry!

I booked this home for my wedding in March. It was perfect! Beautiful, clean, and the beach was gorgeous. The house is just like the pictures and Rose and Larry are incredible hosts. Thank you!

Hosts were very nice and easily accessible

We truly had such a wonderful weekend staying at this property in Oak Island. We had a intimate wedding ceremony followed by a weekend of celebration with friends. The property could not have been cleaner or more suited for our event. If you are looking to have a small wedding or party in Oak island, this is the spot. We got so many compliments about the layout of the house, the view, and the easy walk onto the beach. It was truly everything we wanted + more! The hosts were incredibly kind, gracious, and accommodating. We're so lucky to have worked with them and so excited to stay again in the future!

Our extended family goes to the beach in the fall each year. We had 4 families with 11 people. The house was just as described. It was beautiful and so spacious. The private access to the beach was perfect. We would highly reccomend the house.

What a beautiful beach home! We had everything we needed to enjoy a week at the beach (and then some!) Quick responses from our host when we had questions leading up to our getaway. We would definitely love to come back!

House worked wonderfully for our large groups. The first floor provided a nice space for those with young children while letting the non-parents sleep in on the third floor. The back porch was the perfect after dinner spot to wind down.

A great location for all we needed to do, kayaking, fishing, boogie-boarding, and enjoying the wonderful weather.

Beautiful week

We enjoyed a long weekend (girls trip) at this property. The kitchen is fully stocked which was a pleasant surprise. The walk to the beach is very short from the back porch. Would definitely stay here again.

We originally reserved this property for Memorial Day weekend in 2020 but had to postpone twice due to Covid. Larry and Rose were great to work with through the situation, and they are always really fast with responses. The house fit our group perfectly, and nothing beats being able to walk back and forth from the beach in a matter of seconds. Great house and a great vacation!

The most responsive and accommodating hosts I've ever encountered by far. We had one small issue and Larry called within minutes to address and correct. The house was gorgeous, I want to remodel my kitchen to mimick this one! All of the rooms were spacious and the basement rooms, as well as the rooms above the garage allowed for quiet areas if someone just needed to escape from the crowd for a little while. The beach is right out of the back door and felt like a private beach, despite having neighbors. We may be re-renting for our trip next year as well.

This house was perfect for my family reunion. Plenty of space and great amenities! I will definitely book this place again!
