Not enough wood

Location was good. Cute setting. Thats where it ends..

Yes we understood decor is aged due to the history. But boy was everything uncomfortable. Chairs were so uncomfortable the beds were worse the springs in the matress could be felt and pillows were like thin. We had the worst sleep. Its not hard to buy a matress topper or new matresses online for better value. Our camper trailer matress is better than this We had 3 nights but being so uncomfortable we booked elsewhere during our stay. It needs some serious sprussing to make it comfortable. You want your accommodation comy and this was not it was more a deterrent coming home then being out. I thiught we rserved one with a woodfire heater but got given 2 oil heaters. Overall terrible and would not recommend.

Closeness to town and very neat and tidy accommodation.

What's not to like?

The location is cosy and comfortable, nested in amongst the trees. Very quiet at night too. Easy drive to town and ocean beach. We used the tavern's courtesy bus to get to the tavern too - it seems to only run certain days / nights, so check that out if you want. There were a good assortment of DVD's in the room, a really well supplied kitchen, and the hosts gave us baskets of firewood each day to use for the fireplace.

Nicely rented cottage perfect for three people. Clean. host Was friendly and fixed something quickly.

Kitchen could be better equipped. There was only one very large pot and a soup pot. No smaller pots. A few other basic utensils missing. No oven. No coffee maker.

Cleanliness. Easy to communicate with hostess

More lighting outside would have been helpful but this will be addressed

Cosy and great location. Had everything we needed for our 2 nights. Perfect for us as it’s pet friendly!

Someone was in our parking space and didn’t move for 3-4 hours.

Very close to town and the water. Cosy and comfortable and the caretakers and owners were very helpful.

We arrived late and one of the other guests had resided in the cabin that was allocated to us so we had to chase this up on arrival after 8pm.

Having to access the toilet and bathroom through the main bedroom or from outside. Only having 3 chairs at the table when booked for 4 adults

It was 5 minutes to the brilliant ocean surf beach lovely cabin surrounded by forest and friendly family as hosts. Very comfortable bed and the best hot shower

There really was nothing to dislike

No view, no balcony, no wifi. All offered in ad. Felt deceived. Very basic and felt most furniture home made ie chair used as bedroom sideboard

It was a really nice relaxing location, the chalet was very clean and comfortable

No air conditioning

Location was superb, basic amenities of the unit were great, The little touch of Local flora in a vase in each room was lovely

I hadn’t realised how small our cabin was for 4 adults. Walking around the property it was obvious that there were some significantly larger but still 2 bedroomed. I may have missed something on the website which illuminated this. Having said that we had a lovely stay and I would come back again

The chalet was very comfortable and came with all the necessary equipment for a self-contained stay. Location to town and tourist sites was very good and whilst being on a main road it was very quiet.

The fridge in our chalet was a little noisy - it may have a compressor issue that needs to be looked at.

No WiFi coverage in Karri. Crackling floor and very old. Not enough hand washing and dish washing liquid for our 4 nights stay.
