Good house. Plenty of room

Great place to go as a family. Will be booking for 2 weeks next year.

This house is in desperate need of TLC. I am sad this house has not been updated since our last stay in 2020. It is a great house with an open floor plan but needs to be updated. The floors are in awful shape, the walls are dirty and the beds are small and uncomfortable.

Location and neighborhood

Great place to stay with family or some close friends. Plenty of cozy places to sleep and a very open kitchen/ living room to hangout.

I loved the location of this home. It’s sits in a great spot to the main pool and basketball court. The home is in need of some TLC. It needs proper window coverings to block the bright sun in the morning, new shower heads, bedroom doors that are working and close, a king bed, and better stocked kitchen with more utensils. We will not rebook this house.

This is our 3rd year at this location and love it and this house has the perfect lay out for my family. Im not asking for any refund and would love to rent again, but these are things broken in this home and I can send pictures. The lighting in the family room is absolutely none. Wooden rocker in front porch broke, back fence broken, grill is rusted out, remote control for tv is broken, one lamp to the right of fireplace is broken, the shower liners are too short so therefore the shower curtain has mold, also ALL overhead vents are FULL of black dust. But the worst is the electrical. Neither bathroom outlet will work. Several other outlets worked when the plug was only 1/2 inserted and not when plugged in. This needs to be looked at. I hope it is addressed, and fixed. Please let me if you have success in getting homeowners to fix.

We have been staying at Carillon for 13 years and like Ve the community, beach and a overall experience. We have stayed at multiple properties, all have been emaculate. However, this year, the property we stayed at, What's ya Hurry, could have had better upkeep. A lot of things were broken or not in working order. The kitchen was not well stocked with essential items. But it was very clean and spacious. It just needs a little extra love and attention to fix broken things.

The location is great—quick 5 minute walk to the beach and right across from the pool. The closest beach access does have stairs and there’s no way to avoid them, this made it difficult to be able to use our beach wagon. The house is cute but was in need of a deep clean. The carpet was stained, there were some stains in the kitchen, 2 clogged sinks and the floor was very scuffed up. The kitchen supplies were also lacking, something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking. Very little cooking utensils, chips in mugs, no hot pad for oven, etc. However if those things aren’t priorities for you then I would say this would be a great rental—again, we were very pleased with the location (beautiful neighborhood!). The Vacasa office was also very helpful and answered any concerns right away.

We absolutely loved the house. It had very well appointed spaces, plenty of room and cute decor. There were a ton of sitting areas. The kids loved it!! Will definitely rent again.

Excellent start to finish.

The house is roomy and in good location. Easy walk to the beach. However, there were several lights out and there were not any potholders in the kitchen which we discovered after putting a dish in the oven. I told the managers about that the day after we arrived. They said they'd bring over some potholders. However, they did not. The house needs maintenance and a deep clean.

Loved the neighborhood and proximity to the pool, the house floor plan was great but there were several issues needing attention: killed 10 roaches adult and babies in the house so needs monthly pest control. A tile was off near tub and the floor rippled looks like old water damage. The wood floors were scraped badly by dinette, the couches slip covers were stained or dirty. The outside needs a good pressure washing and there were places were the trim was loose and a screen on porch was torn. The windows had condensation between the windows and looks like rust or mold on them. The blind cords were severely tangled and knotted so the blinds couldn’t be opened or adjusted. The house needs TLC and more attention to regular maintenance as these issues did not happen in one rental season.

The location is great and right beside the pool! The home was clean but a little dated. The biggest issue we had was the couch smelt like pee and we had to get spray for it. Almost like there was a party before us or something. The floors felt like they still had sand on them and weren't cleaned fully. One bed is very comfortable but the other bed feels very unstable and it feels like you are sleeping on two mattresses instead of a mattress and a box spring. Overall can't beat this location and the resort is amazing- will be staying in the resort again but would like to try a different home.

Fantastic house! Stayed here with a set of grandparents and a little. Plenty of space for everyone. Had small issues with the shower and tubs which were corrected the next morning. Would travel here again

Close to pool and park for the kids

We loved staying in the pink house! Swinging on the front porch for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The two beds in the living room are very large and much better than we expected. Great place to stay!

Very nice home. They definitely cleaned this house up since a few recent reviews indicated a need for it. Clean and comfortable. Location was great for our main activities including beach, walking, friend’s homes in complex, and basketball courts where our boys lived. All walkable, safe and easy to get to relative to other popular beach areas. Amazing walking opportunities from beach to trails too. We didn’t have personal interaction with owners, just management company, but they were helpful.

This home was amazing. The location for starters was outstanding. It was close to the pool and you can walk to the beach instead of driving. The house was roomy indeed. Only thing that made it go down a bit was the upstairs bedrooms. It was a tad dirty. But other than that the home was excellent.

Great floor plan. Great community and amenities. Home is in need of major updates including kitchen and furnishings also beds needs new mattresses.

My family loves the open floor plan this house offers. We just were sad to see the condition of the house since our last visit in October 2019. The house is right across from one of the pools, an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. I am not sure how you could fit 11 people in the house comfortably.

We really did love this house. It's very close to the pool and not a bad walk to the beach. Having the enclosed outdoor shower was a plus for our large group. We had everything that we needed to sleep 11 of us comfortably. We found it very clean with very comfortable furnishings. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with queen beds that were very comfortable and the loft upstairs with a queen and a twin bed. The full size beds in the windows in the living room were a great option.
The only downside for us was the lack of lighting in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms (closest to the front door). It's very dark in both rooms. The kitchen and bathroom desperately need overhead lighting. Other than that, we enjoyed staying here.
Bring extra laundry detergent, DW detergent, paper towels and toilet paper.

Overall a great home. Two almost identical bedrooms make choosing between couples easy. The upstairs loft bonus bedroom has A TON of natural light.. would be great for kids or a teenager. Outdoor shower was a plus. Our littles loves the built in cubby beds! Very pleased. Would stay again.

We LOVED Sweet Retreat! The house was so beachy and the perfect size! It was well-stocked, especially with linens! We are definitely going back because it was a dream house for us! Just a 3 minute walk to the beach! The only problem we had was with the guy who worked the beach chairs. He was rude but the people in the office and the people who handled everything else were a perfect ten, as was the house!! We LOVE Carillon Beach, our second year here! We will be back!!

The home was gorgeous. The check in and out process was easy. I was unaware it was a private gated community.

The property was really clean. The property management company was exceptional in returning phone calls. We loved the magical backyard promenade at night.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Carillon in Sweet Retreat. The house was nice but there are a few issues that need addressing. - The dryer - Works ... but Poorly - Takes three 80 minute cycles to dry 4 beach towels. Ended up just washing and air drying on the hooks outside by the driveway. Hooks on the backs of the bathroom doors for bath towels would also be helpful. Looks like they used to be there but have been broken off. 2. The Leaning Sofa of Sweet Retreat - The sofa is worn out. The only seat that is level is the middle cushion. If you are on one of the sides you are on a serious tilt toward the middle. 3. Exterior Door in Kids Room - The kids room has a door that exits the house to a small porch. The lock on this door is broken. Fortunately, our kids are older so we were not that concerned. The kids actually enjoyed making "traps" for any potential "bad guys" that may try to enter from the street side including a huge pile of shoes in the door threshold to trip them up. 4. Upper Bunk Bedding - Found that the upper bunk bedding had not been changed. Long black hair and grit on the sheets.
