We absolutely loved this place! The yard was amazing for our dog. The dock was a great asset to the property. We spent a good amount of time there. Very relaxing and peaceful. Property mangers were wonderful. Will definetly be on our stay again list! Only thing we would change is that the fridge be a little higher off the floor :)

If you want a quiet, relaxing place and a place close to water with water activities, this a place to stay. We almost spent our mornings in the water canoeing. This place is also very pet friendly. The hosts, Paul and Cathy are very accommodating and able to address all our needs. It so nice to come back and stay again here.

The retreat is located in a very peaceful and relaxing area. The home is very welcoming and hosts are friendly. This was a perfect place for a couples get away.

The owners are great hosts; they think of everything. Nice unit, very comfortable. Our view of the river shore was both beautiful and tranquil while enjoying morning coffee. Also watched neighbors walk or jog by. We would return.

My wife and I loved Paul and Cathy's guest house. Their place is on a very quiet road with access to the water from a private dock. The place was equipped with everything we needed and had great recommendations on places to eat and hang out nearby. Just a lovely place - well furnished and thoughtfully decorated.

I wanted to go somewhere for my boyfriends birthday to get away for a second and this place did not disappoint! The owners were awesome, they even wrote cute little notes to make it personalized! The town was fun and the deck was awesome to watch the sunrise! Would definitely come back again! Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

My husband and I had a delightful stay at Paul and Cathy's Riverside property on a recent trip to Elizabeth City to visit family. The accommodations were everything we needed and the little personal touches made us feel like it was home away from home. The views from the porch were spectacular. Our favorite time was sitting there in the morning as the sun was rising and sipping a cup of coffee. If we travel to that area again we would very much hope to rent this property again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Paul and Cathy are gracious hosts. It was like staying in a one bedroom cottage in the Cotswold with a heavenly view of the river. The neighborhood is great for walking and gawking at the beautiful homes that line the river or near it. Very peaceful and all amenities needed on a trip are provided like coffee, paper plates and utensils, water bottles, shampoo etc.. Enjoy more views of the river by eating at Grouper's a mile down the street. The fried oysters there were delicious!!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Our spacious one-bedroom retreat came with a private dock and a great view of the water! The hosts were friendly and very responsive if we had any questions or concerns. Their recommendations on great restaurants and activities were very accurate and we tried several of them. I would highly recommend this property to any couple that wants to "get away from it all" and still access great places to eat and interesting places to visit. We loved it!

A nature lover’s paradise! Cathy and Paul are super hosts! They are the Best of the best. Very comfortable and beautiful home on the shores of the Pasquotank River. The porch has stunning views... home decor and art is lovely. We enjoyed visiting the historic district with it’s fantastic small town charm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Spending time in the rocking chairs on the porch and sitting on the dock brought us the relaxation we so very much needed! The property is beautiful and Paul and Cathy are the sweetest!!! A relocation may be in our future :-) Highly recommend Three Amigos, Tony’s Pizza, riding out to OBX for the day and visiting Dismal Swamp State Park!!

My stay at Paul and Cathy’s place was as promised. Such a clean and serene environment that I thoroughly enjoyed! I am an amateur photographer and was able to capture some amazing shots of the “Eagles of Rivershore Road”.
