The house was large, but a little dated. The location on the lake and lot were awesome. The power went out the first night of our stay. I contacted the owner the next morning and was told that I needed to check the status of the outage on the power company's website. When I went there, I discovered that the outage had not even been reported. So I called the power company and reported it. The representative initially said that they didn't provide service to the address. I found the meter and gave him that serial number and he then found the service account. The company then sent a crew to resolve the issue. I think that shouldn't have been the guest's responsibility to resolve the problem. Weather didn't cooperate, but there were plenty of games and movies to keep everyone satisfied. The wifi was far superior to other Lake Anna homes.

The house and property are even nicer than the pictures could capture! There are three lovely inside common spaces and multiple decks. Four full baths made this ideal for our crew. Our only regret was that we were in town for a wedding and had little time to enjoy it!

The location is secluded and Blount Cove great for fishing. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and loved the layout of the upstairs. New bathrooms were nice. The main room and one of the bedrooms had no screens so no way to let fresh air in without letting bugs and critters in too. Mouse droppings were in three of the kitchen drawers so had to wash all utensils and some dishes before using. Garbage disposal stopped working and no one came to service it so we only had one sink for washing dishes. It would have been nice to have a table at the dock.

Great views. Lots of things to do outside. House was well worn but clean.

House was great, check in process was seamless, the owner gave detailed instructions how to access the driveway as GPS misroutes you. We were unclear about how to access the kayaks as we only saw one small device on the dock with one life jacket, but besides that everything was great.

Home was beautiful, clean and organized. Our family enjoyed how peaceful and beautiful this home was with all the kitchen necessities that was needed. Thank you!

We have always done a beach vacation and changed it up this year to a lake vacation! We couldn’t have loved this more! The house was perfect for us, the property was great, the lake and dock was awesome! Loved that we were in a cove and felt safe letting younger ones swim and kayak with no fear of speeding boats. We rented a boat for the week too and had no issues docking it at the house. Fantastic time and want to do it again!

We were a large group, ranging in ages from 18-55, comprised of my siblings and lots of nieces and nephews - a large, active bunch of people. The private bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable, with super-soft sheets and comfortable mattresses. The 4 full baths were HUGELY needed; the three I saw were impeccably renovated with luxurious towels and clean, modern decor. With a large crowd and limited eating out options, we prepared all meals at the house; this is the first time that we have ever had a kitchen that had EVERYTHING we needed to cook for a large crowd -lots of utensils, sharp knives, pots/pans, dishware, cutlery, etc. The large island in the kitchen was a huge asset. Laundry area was super spacious. Three separate "hang-out" areas gave everyone a chance to split off and socialize or find quiet. The massive deck facing the lake had lots of furniture with comfortable cushions and an outdoor table. We did bring extra lakeside chairs, but the ones provided were easy to move and plentiful. The dock and ladder were pristine and well-kept; the boat tie ups were used as well. Private, quiet cove location was perfect with the sun shining on the lakefront almost the entire day, ending in the sunset spilling across the lake towards the shoreline. With multiple entrances into the house, we all came and went with ease. Also, there is great walking right from the driveway; we walked 6 miles every day with hardly seeing a car. LAST, but not LEAST, Gavin is very responsive to any needs!

House is well stocked in the kitchen and with other supplies. Plenty of space on the dock and deep water for docking a boat.

We had a love time at this property. Home has plenty of room to spread out or gather together. We enjoyed swimming from the dock, having campfires and boating on the lake. Excellent location!

Serenity Cove was just that, serenity. Very quiet neighborhood and location on the lake. Public side allowed access for rental boats to be docked at the property. House was very clean, perfect for our family of ten to stay there comfortably. Gavin was quick to respond to questions. Only negative (a minor one at that) was that the ice maker was very slow. We were aware of this ahead of time, and supplemented with store-bought ice, so it wasn't a huge deal. Would consider this again for our family vacation in the future!

We came for a family wedding nearby. This was a great alternative to several hotel rooms. The house is very spacious so we were all able to find a place to relax. The deck was absolutely wonderful for morning coffee, listening to the birds.

Gavin was excellent at communicating and the lake front property was everything my trivia team and friends wanted to enjoy. Kitchen capability was well stocked and appreciated. Firewood was clutch and we had a great time. Would definitely come back!

Our stay was very nice despite the weather condition! Gavin was very nice and always easy to rich out of. The neighbors were really friendly and the area was beautiful!

Very nice stay for 4 adults. We enjoyed having a workable kitchen and large separate bedrooms. Loved the dock and fire pit. Kayaking was available but we didn’t use as we were just happy sitting in the sun and admiring the views. Beautiful fall weekend getaway!

This was such a good place to stay! So comfortable for 7 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen had all that we needed for dinners, beds were comfortable, and the views beautiful! Fished and kayaked even in November! We hope to come back again- our boys are already talking about it.
