The property is good for 2 families. There are 2 individual areas divided by the living room and a kitchen. There is a short walk to the beach. Nice place for biking. The grocery store and Walmart are 5 minutes to drive. The refrigerator sounded like it was going. It could be an issue soon. The screen door closer needs to be fixed. But that did not affect our stay. We really enjoyed it.

The house was great. It fit my family perfectly.

The house was perfect for our group. Super short walk to the beach, ocean views from the deck, kitchen had all the essentials. Even had some cute restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

The house had everything we needed and was so close to the beach - made getting the kids there easy! I would stay again!

We enjoyed our visit. The house suited us just fine and was convenient to stores, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was accessible to everything we needed whether shopping for gifts and/or food. Groceries you have you choice of several places to stock up for the week. The access to the beach was just a short trip and we were on the beach tanning and enjoying the beach life! There is no linens provided so be sure to bring your own sheets and pillowcases as well as towels and wash cloths. Utensils were not a problem as they had all that we needed already there. Hope this helps with your decision to stay here.

Easy check in process, great location, spacious bedrooms!

While we enjoyed our stay there are some things that need attention. 1. The smoke alarm in the hallway is just hanging down by wires. 2. the air filters are in bad need of attention. 3. over by the broom closet there is a soft spot in the flooring 4. the coffee pot will only work if you manually hold the top down during brewing. 5. we had a hard rainstorm while there, and water poured in through the stove filter and dripped onto the stove- a definate fire hazard. Hope these things will be corrected so the next visitors will enjoy their stay.

For an older house, it was nice. I was impressed how clean it was when we walked in, also stocked up on some of the supplies. Good location, just across the street from the public beach access and about 3-4 houses down. I would suggest bringing a cart if you have a heavy cooler like we did. The property manager responds quickly, which is very much appreciated. I would consider staying here again! Thanks so much!

Working with Liz Davis was amazing. She exceeded every expectation. She is responsive and easy to work with. The rental although an older cottage, did not disappoint. It was the perfect size for our group of 8. The property was as advertised. There were beach chairs available for us to use. Cottage was clean and well appointed. Deck space is generous and offered beautiful morning and evening views and breezes. Quick walk across the rod to the beach was convenient. We had a wonderful week!

What a perfect location, just a few houses away from beach access! The house is well laid out for two small families to share, as we did, and the kitchen is well appointed with appliances and cookware. We ate some meals at the picnic table and spent evenings on the porch. Washer/dryer are relatively new and work well. There was a small problem with the kitchen sink, and Liz the property manager responded immediately and the issue was fixed by a handyman promptly. We would definitely stay again!

My family of 7 traveled in from Kansas City MO for an ocean-side vacation. The house comfortably accommodated us all. The location was great. We created many great memories.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations! The location of the property is even better than described. There is a vacant lot kitty corner along the beach, which means there is an unobstructed view of the ocean from the deck. Additionally, the house itself is only 2 houses down from public beach access. The keyless entry made check in and coming and going from the house a breeze. The space downstairs was accessed by the same code, and is where the charcoal grill and laundry machines were located. That space was large enough to store beach chairs, boogey boards, bikes and beach umbrella which we easily rented from Moneysworth when we rented towels and bed linens (this year they were not providing them, I assume due to COVID). That process was seamless as well- our order was delivered free of charge and was waiting when we arrived. The kitchen had all the basics - a few fry pans, oven safe dishes and pizza pans, plus plenty of utensils and plates and glasses. The blender was small "Magic Bullet" type so if you're looking to make big batch smoothies best to bring your own. Communication with Liz was outstanding! She was incredibly responsive, even after check in late on Friday evening. Overall the stay was better than we could have expected, I only wish we'd been able to stay longer!

If you love the beach this is your place - only 35 yards to the beach access and 45 yards more over the dune(s) to the beach! We got run off the beach quite often due to afternoon thunderstorms and the walk back was a relief. No lifeguards on the beach. Plenty of space under the cottage to store beach gear and the outside shower located there was especially pleasing. Cottage set-up is very functional even though the square footage is minimal. Wi-Fi and cable TV worked wonderfully. Kitchen could use some pots & pans. Weber grill and washer/dryer under the cottage in the auxiliary area was a bonus. Communication with Liz, the booking agent was excellent. Location at MP 1.5 provides easy access off the island to great golfing opportunities. Central Island location allows the best access to Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills/Manteo to the south and Southern Shores/Duck/Corolla to the north. Food Lion and WalMart within 1 mile, and Duck Donuts less than 1/2 mile.

Although it has an older interior, this house has a good setup and is very convenient located just across the street from the beach and close to everything. The outdoor shower, on-site laundry, and keyless entry were terrific amenities. Would love to stay here again!

Great property and location. Spacious, clean and well stocked for cooking utensils, pots and bowls. We had 4 adults and 4 children with plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend this home.

Property was as described. The access to the beech was so quick and easy. It was a great to get away while still being able to socially distance due to Covid-19.

We were a family of 4 looking for a week of relaxation during the Covit-19 pandemic. The Eagles Nest was exactly what we needed. Enough room to keep out of each others way but cozy enough to keep the family atmosphere. The keyless entry was a blessing. No keys to carry to the beach and anyone could go back to the house when needed. This also includes the storage area below. The beach access was a short walk down the street, less than 2 minutes. The kitchen and dining area provided us with ample space for eating in or when we brought home take out. The living room was very large and would provide space for a group of 8 to entertain. The refrigerator provided ample cooling and ice for the week. The appliances and utensils were enough to do all the cooking we needed and were well maintained. The only slight issue we had was a water leak in the kitchen coming from the vent above the stove caused by a severe storm that came thru one night. I contacted our concierge, Liz, and she assured me that it would be taken care of immediately. I had to give 4 stars on cleanliness only because I noticed that the ceiling vents looked like they could use a good cleaning. I would definitely recommend this property to others. For the location it was well worth the money. On a side note, if your trash cans fall over during the night the garbage collectors won't stop to pick them up. Nothing the owner can do, just something to keep in mind.

Easy check-in process with an excellent balcony view of the ocean, perfect for drinking our morning coffee. Couldn’t have asked for better!

We had a great time at the Eagles Nest. Right across from the beach. Easy access. House was as described.

The way the house is set up is great with 2 bedrooms and a full bath on both sides of the house. It’s right across the street from the beach and in a great location. We really enjoyed it and would definitely go back!
