View of Porta Negra from our window! Very convenient to walk to all the old town sites of interest and many restaurants. Large, clean, comfortable room.

Gets a bit hot in the summer (we were there in late June). Unable to check in early (although the staff did let us store our suitcases until check-in time).

La entrada, en la parte trasera del restaurante con olor a comida. El ascensor compartido con el traslado de la mercancía para el restaurante, coincidimos en cada trayecto con el carrito par ese efecto. La habitación, amplia, si , pero sin mesitas de noche, sin interruptores para apagar la luz desde la cama, la TV no funcionaba... No se realizó la limpieza de la habitación. Estuvimos dos noches

Die Aussicht auf die Porta Nigra

Die Bettwäsche roch nach frittiertem Essen und es war nachts ziemlich laut. Außerdem war dann noch jemand um 7 Uhr morgens an einem Sonntag sehr laut im Flur direkt vor unserem Zimmer. Wir vermuten das Zimmerpersonal, da unsere Tür danach auf war

The location, next to Porta Negra, was incredible. The room, for a family of 3 was spacious.

The staff weren't very welcoming on arrival - and then they were completely absent, with nobody on reception, for our entire stay. We wanted to ask for a late check-out on the morning of departure, or to see if it was possible to look after our bags for a few hours, but we couldn't find anyone. The decor needs repainting (see picture). It's frustrating to be provided with a kettle, but no tea and coffee. Only glasses were provided, no mugs, so I couldn't even buy my own supplies. I would have expected tea/coffee in the room at a hotel of this price.

The location is second to none, and we had a great view of the Porta Nigra from the room. Also, the beds were nice.

Difficult to communicate with staff forehand (long message through Booking,com in German, and no reply when we asked for info in any other language). Also, the place is clean, but feels unloved.

The room was clean and very modern looking. It had 2 nice big beds, free bottled water and a kettle for morning coffee. The bathroom was very nice and had a hair dryer and free toiletries. Overall we were very happy with our room and our stay in Trier!

We happened to be in Trier during a heat wave. There was no fan for the room and we had to leave the windows wide open all night. That would be fine but it is close to the market square and it was so loud all night from people and vehicles. The room was on the 3rd floor and really hot.

Very good location, very quiet although there was a music festival right up front, nice spacious room with a high ceiling, spacious bathroom, very comfy bed!

Everything was great.
