Healesville Getaway is a lovely and comfortable accommodation for 2 families. The host, Carole is an absolute gem right from the pre departure till the checkout making sure that everything goes smoothly. There's adequate room for everyone to move around and stuff for the kids to be busy with. The location is perfect for a day in the snow and to get around to see the local tourism. Beds are comfortable too which is always a big bonus.

Due to the wet weather, the gravelled driveway was a bit hard to drive through as you needed to reverse park into the carport.

the house was huge! Plenty of space for the 7 of us (5 adults and 2 kids). The two living spaces would have been perfect had the weather been wet. The walk wasn't too far to town, only 15 minutes to the gin distillery and then a little further to the rest of town. The kitchen was well stocked - lots of cooking supplies, crockery etc. Lots of coffee and tea, and supplies such as oil, vinegar, and even two litres of milk. The beds were really comfy too! Lots of towels. And there was a lovely lawn if anyone was keen for cricket! Carole was very easy to contact, and provided all information necessary.

Initially the house was chilly, but it warmed up quickly :) there were plenty of blankets though, and the reverse heating worked quickly.

It is a nice, big house with lots of space in a fantastic location. Perfect for a few families staying together.

Clean as possible and good beds. Nice linen/ towels. Efficient heating. Good kitchen.

Quite tired as prior to arrival we were informed of the poor condition of the outside deck. Wet and slippery. But thanks for information. The deck, outside stairs and drive way in the wet are an accident Waiting to happen. We did have a couple of older folks with us that were fairly nervous. Inside cupboard door in bathroom hanging. Odd and old curtains ( one fell off rails on landing) and couch had torn covers. However it was about re uniting with friends after a tough year for all. So glad of the opportunity.

It was clean and beds very comfortable. Plenty of room for a group of 10. Plenty of amenities & equipment in the kitchen for cooking . Sheets and towels provided was a nice bonus . Close enough to town to walk in.

Great instructions for Tv's.. Heaters etc. All the King Beds and Bedrooms. The Birdlife. Terrific Heating for the house..very

The driveway was a little narrow but we got used to it.

Owner was great with clear and prompt communication and followup call before and after our stay to ensure all was easy for us. Good location and family friendly accommodation with plenty of space for all of us.
