Location excellent. Smooth check in and out process. Accommodation was very nice. The privacy between the host and guest was very good and the facilities was definitely excellent

Excellent location just minutes from the town centre and local amenities. Amazing use of the space, room felt very spacious and had everything that we needed.

A sink but managed ok with basin they had supplied for doing our dishes.

A sink in kitchenette would have been preferred. Facilities were great but washing plates in the bathroom sink was difficult.

I liked the location being quite rural yet not too far from town. I also liked the apartment it's self. It was very clean and modern and the shower was very good indeed.

I didn't like that there wasn't a kitchen sink to do our dishes or have water from. We had to drink the tap water from the bathroom which isn't to everyone's liking. Not mine anyway. I would've liked more cleaning materials like anti bac spray clothes and wipes. I didn't like finding out that it was in the owners house, and we had to keep the noise to a minimum at all times. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Very easy to find, beautiful property. Bigger room than I expected and the best temperature ever! I’m a cold fish where ever I go and this was just the perfect temperature. Loved the fairy lights in the wee garden area. Bed was very comfortable, had a great sleep. Heard the floor boards upstairs creak a bit in the mornings but not too bad.

It was a lovely stay! Room was nice,clean and comfortable. Steve and family send a very clear directions how to get to the property before the arrival and went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable🙂Highly reccomend The Garden room for anyone visiting Elgin.

Excellent location. Had everything we needed

Was great had a sofa and little tables eat on. Shower was great nice to have a small outdoor area too.

Loved having the toaster and kettle. Only downside was no sink in little kitchen area.

We loved how accessible and great value this lovely property was. Our daughter loved coming back to the house to see the owners dogs and spent some time playing with the owners daughter. It was very quiet at night you wouldn't know anyone lived in the rest of the house. It was as clean as it looks. We already discussed having a drinking water tap in the room with the owner when we were there. I know previous reviewers complained. But the owner is aware and has tried, so there is not much else they can do. One suggestion I have is, it would ideal to have a mirror in the main room with a shelf or a just a shelf added to the bathroom wall so guests have somewhere to put toiletries and make up. This is not a deal breaker though. It is still an exceptional property, at a better price than most hotels in Elgin and Lossiemouth. I don't think we would stay anywhere else if we were in that direction again.

Well equipped, very flexible and practical.

Fantastic location, lovely and quiet, lovely view, fantastic host, nothing too much trouble. Clean comfy bed. Hot shower with large towels. Large comfy bed. Very warm and cosy. Large tv kept us entertained catching up on films. Tea and coffee provided. Would definitely stay again.

A sink would have been nice (but I knew that there wasn't one beforehand). Fridge was a bit noisy.

The accommodation was in a lovely location within easy walking distance of the town. Steve was so helpful and friendly and the Garden Room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. A great base to explore the beautiful Moray coast and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend.
