Spending my birthday at this property was so perfect. It has everything and is so spacious and beautiful. Coming in the winter did make the house cold when entering but after a log in the fireplace and the heat set the home is so cozy over looking the ocean. Our springer spaniel was in heaven with over an acre to play and explorer. Especially loved the sauna in the master and hot tub on the deck under the stars. Honestly im very particular and this home checked all our boxes. I will come back again. Thank you Vacasa for making this beautiful home available. So you also manage the attached apartment cottage? That could be a nice options for larger groups if available.❤️❤️best birthday ever!

The property has a large yard, perfect for stargazing or wave watching. The house is spacious and open with beautiful art strewn about. A can't-miss Mendocino vacation!

We had a full house and this place still felt huge! The kids had a great time in the central room, so much room to play! The house was clean, easy to function in and overall great! Only challenge was early/late checkout offerings. We were notified 30 minutes after our original check-in time that early check-in was available. That just didn't make sense. Overall we loved everythig from the spa and sauana to the views and easy location to Mendo and Fort Bragg. What a gem!

We loved our stay - the location was perfect, close to the town but far enough for a peaceful stay with gorgeous views. The house layout is perfect for a family or group trip - we will be back for sure! A small minor con is that the radiant heating made the first night uncomfortably hot even with windows open but we were able to adjust it for the next day to have a much more pleasant stay! This is a great house with plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen was well equipped and had a Subzero refrigerator and a Wolf stove. The only negative was the master bathroom bath tub. You had to climb over a wall to get into the tub. Luckily there are two grab rails to keep you from falling into the tub. It would be nice if they warned people about it, especially if they are not that physically able. My wife and I are in our late 70's but we are in good shape, so while it took some effort to get in we were ok.

The location and beauty of this house was incredible. We had 3 couples and loved our stay. I would rate the amenities (kitchen, towels, little extras at 3.5 stars for such a nice property) but that did not matter as much to us.

The home looks just like the pictures (in fact, seemed bigger in person), and was a perfect spot for a long weekend with our family. Plenty of room to set up a pack n play for infants (although the propriety does not include one) and our toddler loved running around the big lawn. Would definitely stay again!

We approached the house and we felt so lucky to be staying in such a grand home! Loved the neighborhood and all the wildlife! My kids and grandkids had a great time playing on the expansive lawn out front. The beds, furniture, woodwork, decor, views contributed to a magical stay! Hot tub is great!

Loved the view. The space inside and out was amazing. The boys had fun their bikes with room to ride around.

The property and view were beautiful! It was close to Mendocino. We used it as a base camp and went out each day in different directions for sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay. We loved the property. The yard is endless and was great for flying a kite. We saw deer, turkey vultures, and even a racoon. It was very relaxing and comfortable.

Picked this property specifically for the hot tub. Hot tub was cold and only partially filled when we arrived 1 1/2 hour after 4pm check in. We were not able to use the hot tub until the afternoon of the following day. Only one log was provided to use in the fireplace for our three night stay. These two issues overshadowed an otherwise good property.

The first thing I'd advise new renters is to buy some presto logs or where you live cause you only get one log, no matter how many nights you stay. The kitchen is lacking so much that cooking at home is a challenge. Also the "Stunning Home on the Bluffs w/ Ocean Views, Redwood Decks, Hot Tub & Sauna" (their description) sounded to me like it's near the ocean or at least close enough to hear it. It's not. Perhaps a 1/2 mile away and the ocean you can see (when it's not fogged in) is on the horizon and in the far distance you can see some white water. Also, most rentals have a book with all the info about the house and area restaurants etc. Not this one. Did you notice the fireplace in the master bedroom? There's a sign on top that said it's not for renter use. Also for the high price we paid, there is no TV in the master and the furniture is mostly on it's last leg. The hot tub, please notice that there is a 60 charge for it. I'd understand if they had to drain it and refill after each use but with the water shortage and the condition of this water it was not. It's just a way to gauge you a little more. Enjoy.

What an amazing place to enjoy some time away. The pictures do not lie. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic. The views, oh the views. Was an awesome place to turn 40 years old. Mendocino Sunrise we shall see you again!

This house is amazing. Whenever I rent a house I'm always a bit nervous that the place will not live up to the photos. This home met our expectations and more. The location is stunning and very conveniently located. The kitchen is very well set up with everything you need to make some great meals. Our two adult children and their spouses were very comfortable with the downstairs rooms, and we were thrilled with the amazing upstairs bedroom. The living room is huge, and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. We take our family trips every other year, we are excited to return.

This house is great for our family to gather, eat and play. Fantastic yard and good view. It is as good as is looks. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is the lack of attention to little details. For the price I would expect better towels than a public school gym class. Even a single hanger in the ample closets would be nice. The cork screws feel like they came from a thrift store. Even so, we will be back next time (and probably prepared with our own amenities).

We were here to get footage for social media as well as do a variety of experiences with dogs in our training program. The home was great we actually stayed here in 2017 and know the layout very well which is why we rebooked it. The location is convenient to everything we had planned to minimize our fuel costs not to mention it's peaceful. When we rented in 2017 the property was managed by a bed and breakfast so there was more unique touches you would expect from a property of this price range. A list of vendors for wine tasting trips, local fair etc would be nice for those who are not familiar with the area. No unique touches like a bottle of wine from a local vendor etc. You know those little things that really add to the experience and set the property apart. I was happy to see we had a laundry set this time but disappointed to see only ONE small tv. Blinds were broken in the upstairs so sleeping in was not an option at any point at all. We were just the two of us so didn't utilize any of the down stairs rooms. It is the best option for the work we do and will likely rent again next year. Just wish there was a little more flare for the price point.

Easy communication and check in an out. House was gorgeous and spotless. Magificent views all around the house. Living areas were great for hanging out together. Kitchen was funtionally equipped. Great neighorhood and located near lots of local activities.
