Lovely stay in well equipped house. The views are to die for and even in not so good weather there’s always something to watch in Portland harbour. Easy walks to the Crab House and Billy Winters restaurants, both excellent. Lots to do in the area. We hope to be back soon.

A lovely stay in a property with all amenities and spectacular panoramic views. The owners are extremely helpful and attentive. Could not ask for more.

Super house with a 180 degree view of Portland harbour, with everything you need . Very stylish but also very homely. Would rent it again.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. Booking was easy, and Gilly and Bob were extremely helpful . The property gives wonderful sea views and we will certainly be booking again.

Just one word is needed to sum up our week - WOW. From initial communication with Gilly (the owner), arriving at a spotless, home with so much thought having been giving to the guest experience, one glance out of the back of the property and you are blown away by the view. Panoramic and dynamic sea views - we loved spending time on the verandah in the sunshine ☀️, watching the boats and water sports with the thoughtfully provided binoculars. We loved the rugged feel of the local coastline and enjoyed the diversity of scenery, climbing to the top of Portland hill is an experience not to miss. We will be back ……

The property is very well thought out & with stunning views. It is so well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches - it was a real home from home. It was very relaxing - just what we needed after 2 years enforced staying at home, due to Covid restrictions. A lovely welcome pack started us off on our holiday, but, there were also many useful items supplied so that we didn't have to rush out to the shops - we were able just to unpack & relax, no matter what the weather was like outside. There were several seating areas outside - on the upstairs balconies & also in the garden below ... all with fabulous panoramic views of the Portland marina, where you can watch numerous water activities. It is well located for lovely walks & close to fantastic places to eat.

We had a lovely time. The house is lovely with great sea views. The owners were really nice and very helpful too. Only thing to bear in mind is that there’s not a great deal in the immediate area in terms of food and drink: requires a walk or the bus (or high runs every 10 mins). Very much recommended.

The communication was brilliant with the owner all the way through. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The views are just amazing. They have thought of everything you could possibly need in there & the beds were super comfy. Would highly recommend & we’d love to go back sometime.

Property is an amazing location overlooking Portland Harbour. Very clean, modern and handy for a walk into Weymouth or along the coast to Portland. The property is very well equipped with everything you can think of. The weather was perfect the week we stayed and we had a great time. We would definitely return.

We were so lucky this property was available after the easing of a very long lockdown. We were so ready for this holiday and on arrival it did not disappoint. There was a basket of goodies for the adults and an Easter basket of chocolate for the kids. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed. The location was fabulous, straight out the front door and we were all on our scooters on the Rodwell trail which took us to Billy Winters Cafe or Chesil Beach cafe. The perfect distance for scooting with two young children. The best part about this property are the views. There is so much to see from the property. We had to drag ourselves away from them every day. We would have happily stayed sitting in the sunshine watching the birds, boats, kite surfers, yachts, cruise liners, paddle boarders. We were so lucky with the weather, but even in wetter, cloudier weather the views would still be amazing. There are many different outside seating areas to enjoy the views from. Great communication with the owners who were always very quick to respond to our messages and always helpful. We were sad to leave Blue Horizons and really hope to return someday.

We had a wonderful holiday and from the second we walked through the front door we were already thinking about when we could come back. The house was everything we had hoped for and more. The cycle path in front of the property made for an easy cycle into Weymouth too. Would highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Perfect location, beautifully appointed clean comfortable house with views from both storeys over Portland bay. Fascinated by comings and goings of redundant cruise ships. Only sorry that weather (a lot of weather!) meant we couldn’t enjoy the extensive outdoor areas!
