Great house right on the lake, ....easy check in and Jenny was exceptional

We rented this property as a family reunion event. Everyone from the grandparents to the youngest child (7) loved the property. It’s big enough for everyone to still have their privacy but still accommodating to big family dinners inside or outside. Week long fishing and swimming off the dock was a blast. We also rented a recreational boat from Sinclair Marine for the week to top it off with tubing, swimming, and cruising. Highly recommend getting a boat to see the size of this lake and really appreciate the opportunity this property provides!

Everything was as we expected. Our friends recommended this property and we liked it so much that we have rented it again for next summer. Only one issue ants on the dock and boat house.

Good location. Nice cove but close to the big water!

This was the second time we rented this house and it was even better than last year. The house comfortably holds all 18 of our family members, 8 adults and 10 grandkids. In last years review I mentioned my only criticism was lack of refrigerator space for so many people. This year we were pleasantly surprised to see a new larger fridge and even better when owner messaged me and told me there was a full size fridge on the deck right by the grill! So excited! The people who own this house have thought of everything and stay on top of things and that makes this a wonderful experience for our whole family. So many great memories made! We wouldn’t add or change anything. Our evening kickball games on the properties incline is an added plus and definitely a memory maker! Our whole family loves this house and we have already reserved our week for next summer.🥰

This was our annual trip to Sinclair and we all agreed this one was the absolute best! The home was beautiful and so roomy! It was amazing how much the home offered in conveniences! The pedal boat and kayaks were definitely used daily! Great responsive host too! We’re coming back next year!

The perfect spot for our large family and friends to hang out, enjoy the view, grill, tube, fish... Be sure to either rent a boat or take your own along with a tube/knee board!! So much fun was had and so many memories made.

Everything was just lovely, great spot on a very quiet lake, great amenities, only wish we had a boat, we drove to lake Oconee to use our boat club, that too was very nice. No complaints, trash was a bit of a pain, having to drive to the dump was not great and trash piles up quick with a crowd. A kitchen disposal would have been nice as well, but a very minor inconvenience Host was very quick to respond! Thank you for a great time!

Was exactly as described! Plenty of space for our 2o people from10 to 86. Teens enjoyed bunk beds. The water craft provided was a hit. House was exceptional well furnished. Would rent again!

The house was just as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items we needed plus more for cooking. I was pleased with the open space and room we had to spread out. We enjoyed the dock and made s'mores by the fire pit. Note you may need to bring your own firewood. Things to keep in mind... The lake house is not close to any store or dinning that is easy to access. You must take off the trash when you leave to the dump that was 15 mins in the opposite direction we were heading and with our luggage and people we didn't have the room to take it with us. You are also ask to strip your beds and do a load of towels before leaving. I don't have a problem with that if there was not already a cleaning fee charged. Like I said, the house was clean and as pictured and gave us a great weekend. But I will ask more questions for future rentals about laundry and trash.

Cool spot for a family getaway. If you had access to a boat it would make the stay even better. The house was accurately described in the VRBO posting but a layout drawing of the house would be helpful. The 2 upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom and the main level bedroom is the only one with a bathroom in the room. We brought some outdoor games but upon arriving it was clear the lawn is not really usable because there is a steep pitch to the lawn that runs down to the water which was hard to see from the pictures. If you have small kids this house may not be appropriate as it is multi-levels with no child gates or child locks on doors and the pitch to lawn means anything that rolls outside will end up in the lake. All in all it was still a good experience and if you are a group looking to be on the water when the weather is warm this is a good spot.

Had everything we needed to spend the weekend in ! Only left the property once to check out the surrounding area but overall had no need to leave the house at all. Everything was excellent ! We had a great time thank you !

This house worked perfectly for our family this Christmas. There are 4 bedrooms with a king and a queen in each of them which was awesome and also a bunk room with 4 small bunks that the kids loved. The house is decorated nicely and was decorated for Christmas with a tree and greenery - super cute. We did buy a few travel alarms for the doors leading out to the lake which worked out well (there are 4 sliding doors) as the locks are simple and are at toddler/kid level and the doors slide open fairly easily (and our kids like exploring!). Loved the layout with the big family room, dining room and kitchen all attached. The area around the house is fairly remote, but Instacart delivers there so we were able to get groceries easily! The host was very responsive and helpful. We definitely will be back!

This property is definitely one of the best. The host Ms Jenny was very wonderful, prompt and extremely efficient. Everything written on how things were is exactly how it is nothing was misconstrued at all. It was roughly 17 people and we all slept comfortably and still had more space in the event we had more people who wanted to tag along. The places stores were definitely 23 miles away which was roughly a 35 minute drive, my family and i will definitely be returning for another vacation we had a wonderful time. I also had a few questions and Ms Jenny responded right away or called to follow up on what i needed. Don’t ever hesitate to book this property it is amazingggggggg!!!

Well maintained, plenty of parking space, overall a very nice place to spend quality Family Time. Hope to return next year.

My family stayed here for Thanksgiving this year and it was a wonderful getaway. There were 15 of us ranging from 75 to 7 and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of room for the large group to spread out and relax. The location is extremely remote so bring everything you need for your stay. The house is beautiful and well kept. Lots of very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the fire pit and hanging out by the water.

Comfortably slept 11 there. Some on couches but they were more than comfortable enough. Be sure to have groceries in advance as there isn’t much within 20 min. We did DoorDash food the last night so you do have that option. Outside area was awesome, especially the deck and boat house area. 100% recommend.

We had an amazing time at this house. The house is very well appointed and had something for everyone to enjoy!

This house is perfect for a family vacation. The house has everything needed for large families. The paddle boat was enjoyed by even the 7 year olds. The house is well stocked with extra towels, blankets and sheets. The house has a full kitchen and a large pantry cabinet. We had 17 people and it never felt crowded. The owners thought of everything. If there was one thing that would make it even more perfect it would be an extra fridge. The one fridge got a bit tight for a large group. The whole family loved the house, area on the lake all the areas in and outside the house. It’s a perfect lake house and it made it a wonderful and memorable vacation!

Our reunion brought together 5 families and 5 grandchildren under 9 years old. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the dock and using the paddle boat and canoes. The kitchen is spacious and the view is beautiful. Rooms are large and the bunk beds were a hit with the kiddos. VERY quiet retreat but be ready w food and necessities as town is on the other side of the lake. We hated leaving. Enjoy

Renting this home was such a win-win for us all. We were a large family joining for a family reunion. We loved this home! It is exactly as advertised and MORE. Tons of toys, space for everyone, beautiful sunsets, and a clean lake for water fun. This place has it all. And owners were so gracious. ..perfect vacation

Lovely area to view the lake and relax even if it is raining. Had fun playing family games.

House was just as pictured. Everything clean and working. Use of the kayaks was a great plus. Location is secluded but just get everything in town on the way in. The media room was great for kids. The dock and the view were fantastic

Very relaxing and enjoyable trip. If you want to rent a boat while there, check with Kenny at Sunset Marina and Inn. Its about a 45 minute car ride to get there but only 10 minutes back to the house by boat.

This property had everything we needed to spend quality time together. The house had plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out. Jenny was super fast with getting back to us during our stay. The dock and firepit was great for relaxing. The kids had a great time jumping in the lake. The sunset was beautiful. Thanks!

We all loved the place. It was so relaxing and beautiful!! Cant wait to stay again. The boys loved fishing off the dock. plenty of room for everyone.

We enjoyed our stay! We had enough room! We were able to use their paddle boat and Kayaks which was great! We had a rainy day and the children loved the theater room! The porches were wonderful. You could see the Lake in the kitchen and most rooms! There is a lot of stairs but the younger one didn’t mind at all! We took lots of food so we would not not have to leave since the reviews had mention 30 minutes away from store so we were fine! I love not going anywhere! We grilled everyday and that grill was so nice! We hope to go back again ! Thanks for wonderful place to rent!

We had a wonderful 3 nights on Lake Sinclair!

We had a good time staying here. The house was setup perfect for our group of 3 families. Unfortunately, the weather was horrible for the entire trip so we were not able to get outside much. I would warn anyone considering this property to be aware that it is about 40 minutes from the nearest grocery store although there is a gas station fairly close. It is remote and the surrounding homes are no where near as nice as this house. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the owner was easy to work with.

We have a Monday night Bible study group who decided in November of 2020 that we wanted to go on a retreat despite the fact that the COVID-19 virus had so many locations shut down. We prayed about a location and began searching. We were told about this house by a friend who happens to live in the neighborhood. From the first time we saw the listing on VRBO we knew this was where God was leading us to go. The process was seamless and the owner was incredible about answering questions before and after the weekend. The house was perfect for a retreat setting. There were 14 of us who stayed at the house and one other person who lived in the area joined us. We took all of our food and cooked on site. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is plenty of room to store items. There was plenty of room for our group meetings in the downstairs entertainment room and the person who came to lead the retreat was able to link in to the system and project notes on the television. The beds were comfortable and with 3 1/2 bathrooms, we were never anxious about accommodations. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to hold a group retreat.

This was a last minute booking because my original reservation was cancelled a day before. I mentioned that because Jenny accepted my request on a day’s notice & took away the stress by communicating all details to secure that my family would have a great time. We had a ball!! We prepared well with the items we needed but honestly we could have left it all at home. With the exception of our food, beverages and plastic wear, the house had everything. My family continued to say “I love this house “. The lodging is more than plenty. It’s so much that could be said but the most important is “You will not be disappointed”. The owner is very caring and I pray that her vision for this home will come true over and over again. Thanks for the great hospitality.
