This was our 2nd time to stay at the Blue Fish Bowl. Just like the 1st time in 2020, this stay was perfect! The indoor & outdoor spaces are beautiful & well-furnished. The kitchen & bathrooms were well-stocked. The fishing pier & cleaning station were great, with built-in benches & lights. We had a hard time getting bait because of recent rains, storm issues, & a fishing tournament, but we did manage to catch some small croakers, sand trout, gafftop, sheephead, & hardheads. Be prepared for mosquitoes — they’re just a fact of life along the coast.

Everything about the house was awesome, kids had a blast catching a huge variety of fish off the dock, back porch was awesome, fishing dock was awesome, house was awesome, and the view was awesome. Literally the best place I’ve stayed at down there and I used to own property there. We definitely found a new go to for Sargent trips

We absolutely love this house! It is supplied with everything you need and so much more! The owners are quick to respond to questions and had suggestions about local activities. The lighted pier with rod houlders and built-in benches are great for fishing or watching the barges go up and down the Intercoastal Waterway. We will definitely rent this house again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The check in process was SUPER easy. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. We contacted the host about the type of coffee pot… she had great response time! We highly recommend this property and host!

We really enjoyed staying at The Blue Fish Bowl! The house and property we great! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It’s a great location on the ICW looking out into the Gulf. The hosts were so responsive and nice and the check-in/out process was easy. We hope to return to this house in the future!

This was our 3rd stay here and it was great as always. Beautiful place with all the modern conveniences. Fishing was a little slow this time which I suspect was due to all the recent heavy rains. But I did manage to catch 3 large Black Drum off the dock. Weights were 23, 25 and 27 lbs.
if you’re not familiar with the area, it’s pretty remote and I would recommend bringing all your meal makings as the dining out options are very limited. Host is very responsive to any needs that may arise.
Highly recommend if you enjoy fishing or just chilling and watching the porpoises and barges go by in the intracoastal.

We had such a great time at this property. The location was perfect! And I can’t say enough about how perfect the beach decor is!!! Home was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Fish weren’t biting, so guess we will just need to go back again soon! Great stay! And glad we could bring our fur babies! Thank you so much!

Beautifully decorated house in a great location. The dock was great for fishing and parking the boat. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. 💜💜 the porch! We will definitely be returning for another stay!

As always, we had a wonderful time at The Blue Fish Bowl. Fishing at the house was fantastic this time. We also did a bay fishing charter with the kids with a guide recommended by the owner of the house. It was fantastic! Last time we stayed was during COVID, so there were not a lot of people around. This time we met the neighbors and it was just an overall friendly, helpful and wonderful atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!

Everything about our trip, from booking, communication, to check out and everything in between, was top notch.
A great experience with plenty to do for us in our 50s and our young adult (19 and 21) kids. Whether we were just relaxing, fishing, or playing croquet, it was a great time had by all.

The photos are under-rated. This home is beyond words. We had no issues with check in or contact with the hosts, and it had EVERYTHING! Dishes, soap, towels, condiments, you name it its there. OMG! That view is breath taking! Just book and bring yourself and some groceries. That breeze and hearing those waves crashing from the beach across the way is so relaxing. Its basically a home away from home. Would I book again? Heck yeah! You will not be disappointed at all!

Place was beautiful, clean and the location was amazing! Would have given it 5 stars but Wi-Fi would not work. Operator even tried to restart router and said it would work, but it never worked the 3 nights we were there. Also, put in a call to owner of property to ask a question the day we arrived and was never called back. No text/phone call,not a peep from the owner. Also clothes dryer was not working.

Sitting on the deck and watching the barges go by and you can see the gulf while the breeze blows is fantastic

The house looked and was exactly like the description. Had a few questions when we first arrived and the host answered them within minutes. Great people to deal with and a great house.
The kitchen was well stocked. From appliances to pots and pans & any kitchen ware. For once i didn't have to use my own pots and pans.

We typically book a place twice a year every year to fish. We have stayed in Matagorda, Port Lavaca & San Luis. We decided to try our luck in Sargent and knew nothing about the area. The area was really quiet and the house was decorated so cute. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and everything was in great condition. We could have literally shown up with just our clothes and fishing gear! Although our intent was to fish, the weather would not cooperate. Instead, we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, conversing and playing games on the deck. This is the best place we have stayed. We will definitely be booking again in the near future! Thank you for sharing your lovely place!

This place is always as advertised. Well furnished and stocked with more than you could ever use, comfortable and relaxing. Beds are so comfy, it’s hard to get up early and go fishing! Even though there was a little rain, there is plenty to do (or nothing to do) at this great place. Games, movies, TV, or just sit on the balcony and enjoy the rain. We always have a great time when staying here and will definitely return. Jennifer & Robert are kind and very responsive, and we have enjoyed dealing with them many times. Thank you again for opening the Blue Fish Bowl for us!

Went with family including 4 adults and 3 children and we had a blast. The house really has everything you need so the only things you need to bring is food, clothes and fishing tackle. Just a short walk to the private pier and your fishing.
We caught a lot of smaller fish but also caught 37" redfish, 35" drum, 26" speckle trout and several large gaftop. The beach is a short drive away where you can hangout or do some surf fishing.
Sargent gets a bit busy on the weekends with lots of folks coming in to fish and head to the beach but during the week it's very quiet.
All-in-all this is a great place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here. The house is
so cozy and the patio was perfect for sitting outside and playing dominos in the evenings. We loved watching the barges go by and it was so nice to be able to park the boat out back and also to be able to bring our pups. The beds were super comfortable and we had absolutely any and every thing we could possibly need! Do not hesitate to book.

This was the second straight year we spent our Labor Day weekend at this property.
Hope to do the same next year as well. The property is better than advertised. We love watching the barges go by from deck. The fact that this property is pet friendly is a huge plus. Will definitely come back. Host is responsive and helpful.

Very very nice house!! They have thought of just about everything the house and piers need incase you forgot something!! The house is very roomy and comfortable and the outside deck is very nice!! The pier and fishing was excellent also. We did pick a rainy wknd but it was still very good stay!! Well worth it!

The The Blue Fish Bowl was is a nice place to just getaway from it all and make memories with the family which is what we did. We enjoyed our stay, fishing off the dock, caught some crabs and cooked them. They were very yummy too! We caught a big Red and lots of other smaller fish. Most importantly we made beautiful memories. The house pretty much has everything you could possibly need and some. There was 10 of us with our fur babies and it accommodated us nicely and comfortably. Great place to stay. Definitely met it's review expectations.

We caught fish and crabs. Their is a cleaning station at the dock. The views are incredible! The house has everything you need! There is a gate on the porch, it was great to keep the dogs and kids safe. Fun stay!
