House was nice, wish kitchen had pizza pan and/or pizza cutter, and there could have been some dish rags and towels and even though they mention it within the house, the ants were bad, as they were always crawling on us as we were sitting in the living, even though we were careful with not leaving food or having food crumbs. However, all in all the house was great to stay in, very peaceful.

This home looks beautiful via the post, but once you get there, the property leaves much to be desired. Starting our stay, we dealt with immediate parking issues. The next-door neighbor's driveway entry is directed into the VRBO limited parking, so we were constantly playing Tetris to ensure the neighbor wasn’t blocked in. That’s something that should be disclosed on the listing, instead they waited until they gave us the key combination and check in instructions. This house has parking for two cars at most. As soon as we walked in, we were met with bugs resting on the ceiling. After some time, we had them all killed, and as long as the doors weren’t left open, we could keep that problem at bay. The beds were ancient or the cheapest quality you could buy. The couch was newer but not very comfortable at all. However, I think it was more comfortable than the bed option. Luckily, we spent most of our time fishing off the dock, which was the only saving grace for this home. The yard was cluttered with debris, the chairs were splintering, and the fabric/netted material chairs had rips in them, leaving us all wondering if they should even be used. The last noted issue was the poorly kept boat dock. The wood seemed to be rotting all around it.

Loved the property

The property was remodeled nicely inside and provided all the needed toiletries and items needed to cook. The bed mattresses were very old and worn, as well as the couch. The outside was not maintained at all. The wooden chairs would have splintered you had you sat on them and the picnic table was broken. There was a lot of debris in the yard.

A very nice place to go to to get away, very lovely.

Everything was great, not the owners fault. No power from the storm, from 6pm to 4 30 am

Some of our family stayed here for our family reunion. It was clean an comfortable it has a nice porch.

We stayed here for the weekend while visiting the Trader Days show in Lima. So we were here at night and gone all day. For 9 people, that was the perfect way to work it. Everything was spotlessly clean and we loved eating dinner out back. But everything is also really, really cozy! I think that if we had stayed around all day, it would have been a little cramped for nine full sized people (we had 7 adults). Also, the kitchen was well stocked by has no dishwasher. Like I say, we would be comfortable staying here again using it like a hotel. Way better than a hotel, for sure! But be aware of a few limitations.

We had a wedding on Tecumseh Island (Maple St) August 13, 2022. Your place was such a relaxing place to stay. The neighbors were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely book again.

Lovely accomodations.

We had a great time! We love to fish. The house was great, clean, lots of room. There isn't local TV, to watch sports. The owner is great. He responded to our calls and was ready to help us if we needed anything! We plan to rent it again!!!!!

When we stayed it was super cold and this house isn’t super insulated and was very cold! Smaller than we had expected and the beds are very small (double) me and my husband had to sleep in separate beds. Would be a good stay in the warmer weather not much to do at all in the cold weather. We had a family emergency and only stayed 2 out of our 4 days we paid for.

Newly remodeled, comfortable, and well equipped. Loved the back sun-room for family game night. Thanks for a nice stay!

This house was very nice and exactly what we were looking for. It's not a huge house but still fit 8 adults pretty well. The kitchen area got a little cramped at times but it wasn't a big issue. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us to sit around the living room and play games. The extra space in the sun room was useful too (it was a little cold out there in January though). Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again!

Very clean and new. They have done a nice job remodeling. We also enjoyed the neighborhood feel.

We had a great weekend with family. The property was nice and very comfortable. The owner was a pleasure to work with. The cottage may have had recent flooding. Very strong odor in the home. Had to keep windows open. Other than that we would stay there again.

The house had everything we needed. Great location. Very nicely decorated. Having a washer and dryer as well as a private boat slip we great to have. We had a great time! We would love to come back next year!

The house was easy to get to and very clean. The only problem we had was the tv kept turning on by itself.

We loved the location of this property and all the amenities. The washer and dryer was a huge plus for us. There are a ton of board games and corn hole which is really nice. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could want or need. The beds are super comfortable; just a bit tight (doubles and bunks) since I am tall and my husband is tall, and we are use to a King size bed. LOL! We enjoyed our time at the property and have booked top go back next year.

We greatly enjoyed our stay and found this home to be clean and comfortable. It’s a bit cozy and the bedrooms are small but well situated. The kitchen is well appointed, all appliances were in working order, and stocked with most necessities for cooking. The house is on the canal with lake access just a short boat ride away. we rented a 20-ft pontoon with Spend-a-Day marina that fit in the slip and was quite nice. The house is stocked with a few games, a puzzle, and a good working TV to keep busy on a rainy day. The bunk room was great for our kiddos and the closets in all the bedrooms were very large. The washer and dryer are new, front load that made washing all the lake clothes and towels a breeze but you’ll need to pack some laundry pods to use. We brought our own kayaks and bikes as well and found them to be useful. Both a charcoal grill and gas grill were on the patio and worked reasonably well. A few suggestions we think may be helpful- bring plenty of beach towels as we didn’t find any at the cottage, also the bathroom towels and kitchen towels were a bit sparse given the houses capacity. We had 4 adults and 4 children in our group. Overall we would and quite likely will stay at this home again.

Beautifully decorated home. Great location. Love the screen porch. The Indian Lake area and this home is great spot for a week or a weekend getaway.

The unit was clean inside but could use some work on the landscape.
