great location right, friendly staff

the room would have benefited from a desk or a small side table. also it’s too bad there is no shared kitchen for guests to use.

The whole guest house has a very nice vibe, cool and relaxed interior, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is super right on the little square of Bidart.

The only little thing we didn't like in our room was that there were no curtains in one of the windows, so we had to hang up a blanket to cover the sun and insight from the opposite building

This was our second stay here in two weeks. The location is ideal and the food and welcome were as amazing as last time. The rooms are snug, but that’s part of the fun and they are very well equipped and clean. The nearest beach ( and the nicest) is 10-15 minutes walk away with a lovely snack bar and a very nice restaurant ( for people with a healthy budget!). For surfers you can hire boards/ wetsuits at the souvenir shop diagonally opposite the Auberge for a cheaper price than at the beach. Highly recommend.

There were five of us this time, instead of four, so we booked the room with 4 bunks + double bed. Unfortunately the double bed is two single mattresses on the top bunk and it is very difficult to get down from it in the middle of the night. The bathroom is also much smaller than the room for 4 people . That said, I would still definately recommend the Auberge and stay here again myself as the staff, food and location more than make up for the room size.

The Auberge is ideally located on the main square with restaurants just outside and the beach a short walk away. The rooms are very well planned and the bathroom was spotless. Despite being right on the square, the windows are exceptional and we had a great night’s sleep. We are dinner in the restaurant.. delicious and great service. Don’t miss out on the desserts.. We’re going back next week!
