We stayed in Puenta Del Sol for four nights and it was amazing. The Casa was gorgeous and appeared to be brand new. The main house was stunning with a dramatic high ceiling with floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean over her infinity pool. The art and decor was exquisite. The photographs on line could not possible have captured the beauty and essence of this home and property. Her kayaks were a big perk and took us to a secluded beach that we were so taken by, we went twice. Jody was a delightful host, who assisted us from before we arrived until we left in every way possible, going above and beyond, as this is her nature. We really enjoyed her company, wit and wisdom.

We had an amazing day at Jodi‘s place. Her house is exceptional and the view is absolutely amazing. Jodi is an incredible host and did all she could to put us at ease. She was very kind with our kids and we had a wonderful stay. We really hope that we will come back soon. Thanks again !

What an amazing stay we had on Jodi’s slice of paradise. Truly such an incredible estate with everything you might need at your fingertips. Being hosted by Jodi was a lovely reset to our carribean time in the country and she and chef Eric pampered us beautifully through our three night stay. From the pool, the sea kayaks, pickle ball, monkeys and celebrating st patty’s day with crafts for the kids, we all had the best time and we truly felt welcomed like family. Thank you!

The highlight of our 2 wk Panama adventure was Isla Bambu on Boca Brava. No question, the last stop was the best. Our lovely host at this island paradise delivered first class hospitality and luxury our entire stay. We talked many times before our trip so Jodi knew we were first timers to Panama. She gave us advice in general and handled transportation arrangements to Isla Bambu. We took a water taxi from Boca Chica, climbed the steps from the dock where Luis met us in an ATV. Jodi welcomed us at the front door to her beautiful home. I will always remember the sense of awe I felt walking in and seeing the gorgeous views through the large picture windows of the infinity pool overlooking the Pacific. We were captivated by the calm and tranquility of the tides going in and out, sunny days and stunning sunsets. Jodi met our every need, even those we didn’t know we had! We requested and she arranged for a local chef to prepare several meals for us. Chef Erick created outstanding food featuring local seafood. I highly recommend doing this the 1st few days. Breakfast each morning was a delicious selection of fruit, breads and eggs cooked to order. We stayed in the Piesta del Sol with views of the ocean, gorgeous tropical flowers. The bed was so comfortable and the bath, very luxurious. The decor is calming in a delightfully tropical way. We wanted to go on a boat tour so Jodi arranged it. We spent an afternoon touring the several islands nearby and ate lunch at the Isla Parida restaurant. It was a lot of fun and the food was good. Cruising along, our captain joined a school of dolphins. They swam beside, dipping and diving all the way. It was so worth it! Some of the very best pictures we have of our whole Panama vacation were taken during this boat trip. One day, we didn’t really have any plans so Jodi suggested a beach picnic. She had a table, chairs and trays of fruit, snacks and drinks set up along with two kayaks. We kayaked for the first time ever and had a blast! The area is known for howler monkeys. We heard them every day but didn’t see any until the last day when Erick came and said to follow him down a jungle path. We saw a whole family in the trees, feeding on leaves, just hanging around. Perfect! An absolutely fantastic paradise adventure, we truly hated leaving Isla Bambu. We vow to return, maybe before the year is over. I am so grateful to Jodi and her staff for giving us the best vacation ever and lifelong memories.

Isla Bambu is a paradise within a paradise. It offers world-class ocean and sunset views in a peaceful and private setting. The landscaping and manicured gardens are an admirable expression of the human touch. The architecture is impressive yet harmonious with the surroundings. There is also a sense of the owner's respect for the environment with the use of solar panels and low impact lifestyle. Our host, Jodi, provided personalized and helpful assistance to make our stay most pleasurable. Our room was private, attractive, and very comfortable. We explored hiking trails, local beaches, and pristine islands via hired boats. We also utilized the well appointed gym, and other sport activities. At the end of the day we enjoyed relaxing in the infinity pool to soak in all of the natural beauty, and perhaps a cocktail or two. We will be back soon.

This property is as classy as it gets, the custom built newer home and rooms are well built, charming, clean and tastefully decorated. The views of the pacific ocean and surrounding islands are mesmerizing. I loved the infinity pool and outdoor spaces. We were able to see and hear the howler monkeys right outside of our room. Jodi is a delightful hostess that will spoil you rotten with her amazing breakfast creations and always make sure you are having the best possible experience. You can kayak, walk to shoreline, play tennis or basketball, work out in the gym or my favorite sit on the porch a stare at the water while drinking yummy rum frozen drinks. I highly recomend this retreat, it is truly a bit of paridise.
