The property is very private, with trees and vegetation surrounding the house. The interior of the home is lovely and is well equipped with everything needed for a worry-free stay. Easy access to stores, restaurants, and activities.

This house was perfect for our needs. From the well stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and fluffy towels - a wonderful rental!

The rental met and exceeded our expectations. The property was appointed with everything needed and all the extras, for adventures on the Blue Hill Peninsula and Acadia National Park. e.g beach towels, binoculars for birding, gas grill on the porch (we didn't spend time cooking) books about Maine, and more. I left comments in the guest book of the highlights our our vacation. Also the house is conveniently located for car trips to Blue Hill (15 mins), Ellsworth(15 mins), Stonington(30 mins), and beyond. The day we left we joked about needing two weeks next summer!

The house was exactly as described and absolutely spotless when we arrived. We had everything we needed including extra towels and blankets. The property is gorgeous and we loved having water access. The kids loved the game room downstairs. We drove into Acadia National Park most days and it was an easy drive to and from. Nearby Ellsworth is a cute town and we found everything we needed.

Very clean property. Nice view when clear. Nice deck n chairs to enjoy the fresh air. Beware of mosquitoes in the summer.

This house was exactly as described, so well-equipped and organized. The game room downstairs was a big hit with the teens. The kitchen may be the best equipped kitchen we've ever stayed in for a rental. The location was also handy. We hiked near Blue Hill several days and found some lovely hikes that were some of our favorites. Proximity to Acadia is perfectly fine with a 35-40 min drive.

My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. The home is close to MDI/Acadia without the traffic of MDI. The local Blue Hill Heritage Trust trails are great and Blue Hill, Surry, and Ellsworth stores have everything you need.

We were so very pleased with the property and grounds. What a spacious and lovely space to enjoy and explore the Bar Harbor and Acadia area. The house exceeded our expectations! Loved the beautiful view and path to the water. Would definitely stay there again and have already recommended to others.

This is absolutely a perfect home away from home! Beautifully furnished and decorated to highlight coastal Maine. The kitchen is equipped with every thing necessary to cook a great meal and serve it with beautiful dishes and tableware. Beds and baths were comfortable and bathroom towels were abundant. All in pristine condition! And then add the view of the Bay and peak leaves, and it was a stunning setting! Absolutely perfect! Highly recommend for a family or friends traveling together.

My wife and I stayed at Coveside from September 25th through the 30th while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The house and property were beautiful and have everything needed for a wonderful stay. The deck made the perfect spot to have our coffee and breakfast in the morning and for cocktails in the afternoon and evenings after a long day of exploring the area. We found the location in Surry was peaceful and private, yet close enough to everything you need. Plenty of shopping and restaurants are close by in Surry, Blue Hill and Ellsworth, and Bar Harbor and Acadia NP are just a 30 minute drive from the property. There are seating areas and paths to explore right on the property offering terrific views of the bay, woods and wildlife. The Property Manager, Cheri, and the Property owner were both extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. Even suggesting great local restaurants for our anniversary dinner. The kitchen was large and open with everything you need to prepare meals at the house, and the Weber grill on the deck came in real handy a couple of nights. All I can say is we had a wonderful time and really felt at home there. Thanks again for the gift bag. It’s a great reminder our our stay.

We were absolutely amazed with the cleanliness of the home, quality of the furnishings, and the nice towels. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil, cookware, and serving dish you need, as well as assorted condiments. The host had a new washer and dryer, and detergent available for our use which was a bonus. There is a nice deck, overlooking the winding trails to the bay. Hiking down to the bay is easy and there are chairs available to relax and enjoy the scenery. Don't miss out on staying at this location when in the Acadia area.

This rental is exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable for our family of 5. It had all the comforts of home. The welcome gifts were so appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning with the beautiful view of the water. Looking forward to going back one day.

After 25 years of staying at various locations in the Bar Harbor area this was our first stay in Surry and it truly delivered a wonderful experience. We were thrilled with the cleanliness and comfort of the home and the grounds. We are so looking forward to another stay in 2023. Thanks so much!

Perfect house for our family of five (kids 6, 10, 12). Peaceful location, easy walk to the water, game room basement, 30 minutes to Acadia.

We enjoyed our stay at Coveside. The house has a great layout, beautiful property and fantastic view of the water from the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed and was great quality. You can really tell a lot of care and effort has gone in to this home to make it a wonderful space for a vacation!

This house was great for my husband, myself and our 4 kids. We cooked a lot of meals in the house and I had everything I needed in the kitchen. The deck was nice to sit on and enjoy some coffee and a book. The location was close enough to all the places we visited. My daughter loved Pug Nuts the local ice cream shop. We all had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful weather. There isn’t one thing I would complain about.

We had a great time. Location is great, very private but close to Ellsworth and Acadia. The property was great. We enjoyed the water view and paths down to the water. My daughter loved Pugnuts for ice cream, which was a short walk away. Property was clean and had everything we needed. We had a couple of issues that came up, but the property manager and owner were quick to respond and help.

We loved the location of the house. We enjoyed the view of the cove from the deck, and the short trails were fun to explore. The house itself was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It was a perfect spot for a week-long stay with family!

Cute property overlooking an inlet. Very clean and well kept. Only downside was we arrived to one of the hottest periods in Maine. Home only has on AC unit in master bedroom so had to rely on fans. We made do though. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Acadia from the home. Not too bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The listing is accurate. Communication was easy. Great location - close to Ellsworth, Acadia and Blue Hill. We stayed with our adult children and we were all comfortable.

The house was great, and was actually a little bigger than the pictures made it seem. It was clean, comfortable, and private. The two paths to the water were very nice, and the deck overlooking the water was great. We were very sad to have to cut our stay short by a day so we could avoid driving home to NY through a hurricane on the day we were supposed to leave. We spent most of our time in Acadia, which made for a lot of driving, but we preferred the privacy of this house as opposed to being closer to Acadia but much more crowded. Communication with the owner was quick and they were very responsive to any questions I had before or during our stay. Great property.
