This property was more than perfect! Easy access. It was stocked with necessities and clean! The views from the porches were top notch! The space was perfect for the 4 of us and certainly accommodating for another couple or a few kids. We had an extra bedroom that we didn’t use.

I enjoyed the visit so much with my three sisters. Boy we had a ball ! 😎

This house has everything you need to relax while vacationing in Stowe. A nice touch in the master bedroom is a mirror that allows you to take in the mountain views without even getting out of bed. One word of warning: there is a neighbor with a rooster, so be prepared to be awoken early if you sleep with the windows open!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. The house was stocked with everything we needed (kitchenware, towels, sheets) and had a great view of Mount Mansfield from the downstairs and upstairs balconies. It's conveniently located--a few minute drive to downtown and to other restaurants in Stowe and about a 15-20 minute drive to Stowe mountain to ski. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire after a day of skiing. We visit Stowe as often as we can and would stay here again!

Beautiful home for a ski getaway. Close to Stowe and perfect to come home to after skiing. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make a quick breakfast or snack. We will definetly be back!

Great place with beautiful views

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our first time in Stowe at the Chalet. The property and house were very clean, organized, well stocked, and in a great location. We had amazing sun rises and sunsets daily. We will definitely be back

My wife reserved this home for a visit in Stowe in late September. It's always a bit deceiving judging places by its photos. While the outside may not look the most inviting, the interior is very nice. Plenty of room to spread out and have some alone time, if needed. Kitchen was very nice and well stocked. The back deck was so inviting. Unfortunately we weren't able to use it. Wifi was good. Our son loves video games and we were concerned about the internet speed. But it was more than satisfactory. While the title says secluded the home is just outside Stowe. Since I am a photographer and hiker, I liked the fact that it was within minutes of two beautiful waterfalls. Oh, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything really worked out great here. I highly recommend staying here. And you'll Stowe and the surrounding area. You can easily and quickly zip around the entire state.

This house was perfect for our hiking vacation. The kids took the rooms in the basement and we had the fantastic master room upstairs. The house was fully stocked. There was a Shaws a short drive away, and plenty of restaurants as well.

The house is very comfortable and clean with lots of amenities. The owners have worked hard to make the guests' stay a pleasant and easy one. The house is located 3 miles from downtown Stowe. Guests should be aware that there is no bathroom on the main floor. There is a bedroom on the second floor with a bath with a beautiful secluded view, and two bedrooms and one bath on the basement floor. Parking is right in front of the house. Owners provide clear instructions. We had a great stay!

Stayed at this lovely house for the week with our two kids. House is really clean and cozy. Beds are very comfortable as well. Owners have have all the amenities one would need (nicely stocked kitchen and bath supplies). Location is great. Very close to downtown Stowe and about 15-20 min ride to the ski resort without having to go through downtown Stowe. Would definitely stay here again!

The house and location was wonderful. We loved Stowe and the restaurants. Plenty to do, we snowshoed for the first time. It was a workout but we had fun. The scenery was beautiful! We had a great time!!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The rental was well stocked - normally I bring a lot of items with me, but it really wasn't necessary which was a surprise. The view looking outside was beautiful - especially from the upper deck. Very comfortable and relaxing. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. The house is located just outside of Stowe in a quiet neighborhood. Attractions and hiking are all a short car ride away. The view was beautiful. The house was comfortable and extremely well stocked and prepared.

The location was fantastic and near so many shops and outdoor experiences. The view of Mount Mansfield could not be beat. It was very comfortable for 5 adults and the kitchen was very well stocked. (Perhaps add a small coffee grinder?) I will definitely look for this VRBO when we return to hike more routes to Mansfield summit. Highly recommend.

Great view, was great for two but also would have plenty of space for 3 couples and was close to both the downhill skiing and cross country. Great winter destination and would also be great to hike in the summer

Well appointed kitchen, spectacular views from the common room. Master floor was excellent. Lower floor bedrooms were comfortable. We don't have any young children but I could see the stairs being a bit of a hazard requiring parents to be on watch (open design stairway.) We would return for sure.

Loved the home. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked, location is convenient, and the house is beautiful!Just rated the property manager communication low since I texted twice but didn't get a text back. It was nothing important so I didn't call the managers home line/email since I didn't want to bother them. Finally the books and instructions were easy to follow so had no issues.
