The cabin is located close to both Sunday River ski and golf facilities. Beautifully decorated and well. equipped. This was our third stay and hope to visit again.

The house is beautiful. The views of the mountain are incredible as well. We were even able to watch fireworks from the back deck of the house. Tom and Kim are very responsive and we would definitely stay here again! We initially booked this for my wife, myself and my two kids but at the last minute added my wife’s sister, husband, and their two kids. We also brought our dog. There are two bedrooms with doors. However, the basement has bunkbeds and the loft has sleeping as well… You can see from the pictures. All the areas are very nice and comfortable. We easily did eight people.

We always know everything will be clean and comfortable when we stay here!

I stayed for 2 nights with two other moms and our 14 year old daughters. The place was adorable and super clean throughout. The layout was amazing. The girls got their own spot in the lower level which was nice. Having 2 showers was key! I would definitely return. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because there was not a hot tub and there was not a parking pass as advertised. Everything else was better than expected.

Great location for taking in the fall colors of Vermont. The cabin has a great view of the mountains, an awesome firepit, and plant of space to hang out together and also find a quiet spot when needed.

We stayed at this house in September for a family wedding. Everyone in the group loved the house. It was so close to the venue, breweries, golf course, and had amazing views of Sunday River. The hosts were very helpful leading up to our stay, and everything was perfect.

Tom and Kim are excellent hosts who have allowed us to have our fourth family trip to their amazing cabin! This annual vacation has become a staple for us because of the unique topography of the region, the numerous outdoor activities and yes, the incredibly comfy and fully appointed cabin surrounded by beautiful mountain views and nearby to good ol’ fashioned swimmin’ holes and hiking. Thank you again!! Looking forward to returning…our girls absolutely love our Maine trips because of you.

This is a cute little cabin on a hillside with great view. It was clean and had tons of light, and fans. :) Two well cared for bathrooms were appreciated as well. We felt well taken care of.

We stayed when I spoke at a conference recently and the home was absolutely one of the highlights of the trip! Gorgeous views, so much comfort, plenty of space, and such a clean home! We cherished our time here together. Thank you!

My wife and I booked this property for a long weekend with my sister and mother who flew in from out of state. It was the first time we had all been together since before Covid. The property was clean, spacious, and located near all that the area has to offer. The views of Sunday River were spectacular! It was almost the perfect getaway. There was only one issue, which I feel is necessary to mention, but is no fault of the owners. Next door is a HUGE vacation/event rental called The Heights. Saturday morning we went out for some hikes, followed by lunch at the Sunday River Brewery. We had planned to spend the afternoon at the house and hoped to enjoy the balcony and fire pit so we could catch up a bit. Upon returning to the house we found that the event rental had some massive party going. The music was so loud that even with the windows and doors closed you could clearly hear the music inside. Needless to say, we didn't get to enjoy the balcony or firepit that day and the music continued that loud until 10:00pm. It was dead quiet during the rest of the stay, but this is something that you might want to consider if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet.

I had a serene week at the artist lodge. Awesome amenities, the grill, the wood stove, and an insane view of Sunday river. I’ll definitely be back.

This was our second consecutive year staying at the Artist's Cabin Retreat in January. It was even better than the first time around! it snowed the night before our arrival, similar to the previous year which was amazing. So after a great day of skiing (just up the road at Sunday River) or snowmobiling, we looked forward to getting back to the house just to kick back, cook and have a couple of drinks and enjoy the view of the mountain from the Living Room. Everything is very comfortable/cozy about the house. Looking forward to doing it again next year!!

Great location for golf or skiing at Sunday River. Cabin is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The view can’t be beat!

Great House and Stay.

The house is 5 minutes from Sunday River, so excellent for the skiers. The non skiers loved the view of the slopes- binoculars provided! Very well equipped and delightfully decorated. A great weekend stay!

Our 2nd visit to the "Cabin"....Cozy, well appointed, fire pit, wood fire stove. All wood supplied! Beds very comfortable, all linens supplied... We had a lovely stay. Somehow this cabin is compact and cozy and spacious at the same time. The location was great - Sunday River and all it's venues and attractions were a 10 minute drive. The views were amazing and with big windows facing south, the place was sunny and warm all day. Our visit was in September but this would be especially welcome during a winter visit. Our party had three family groups and there was a private space for everyone. Places to hang- fire pit, balcony/deck, living area and downstairs den- great for a multigenerational group. Lots of wood for a fire. Cool classic "moosey pine" decor. No weird smells. Will we come back? Yup.

7 of us rented the cabin for a wedding in Greenwood that we were attending. Unfortunately, due to Covid only 5 of us made it up to the cabin. We loved having coffee every morning on the Adirondack chairs on the porch with views looking over Sunday River. We really wish we could have had more time there and we will definitely like to come back someday. The owners were great and very responsive to any messages sent. We were able to add a dog to our reservation a few weeks out. They were extremely accommodating. What a beautiful space.

Beautiful location, beautiful cabin! Loved everything! We’ll equipped kitchen, nice touches around the home to make you feel comfortable. Wonderful deck to enjoy nature, fire pit. We really enjoyed our time here!

Had so much fun with friends! House was perfect for us. We cooked dinner every night on the grill. So many different water falls and hiking areas within a 15 min drive. Can’t wait to go back.

Our family spent a week exploring the area around Newry and this house was perfect for us. Big enough so we had our own space but small enough so we spent good quality family time together. The whole vibe of the 'cottage' made it easy to relax and it had everything we needed. And the owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely go back again!

Perfect location for going Mt Washington, lots of trails nearby. We have total of 8 people plus a dog, had so much fun staying here.
