We can't say enough great things about our stay at this property. Thomas and Christine were wonderful to work with from booking to preparing for our trip and everything in between. The house had plenty of rooms for our group of 6 (including a child) - lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, TV's, dining space and more. This home was very clean and comfortable for my family. The location is very convenient to the beach, downtown H.C. And the north end of the island. Kitchen well equipped, beds very comfortable, sunset views from roof deck wonderful. The owners are very responsive though we didn’t run into any issues during our stay. Will rent again.

Our stay on Long Beach Island was wonderful. The beach and ocean were perfect. The house is spacious, well organized and clean. Two bedrooms had walk in closets which were perfect for a baby to sleep in a pack and play. Our host had lots of beach chairs, umbrellas available, and beach toys for the kids. A buggy to transport all the “stuff” was available as well. Thank you, Thom.

Beautiful home and terrific overall experience. The convenience to the beach coupled with the fully updated interior was perfect for our multigenerational family. Thom and his wife ensured our stay was smooth and comfortable and answered any questions promptly. We will be looking to return again soon!

My family and I had a wonderful time enjoying LBI. The home has multiple stairs which should be a consideration when renting. The property was tidy and the owner very responsive. We spent most of our time on the third floor enjoying the sunny social area and upper deck.

this was our second time renting this house for a week. Was very comfortable for two families with kids. The owners were always attentive and available for any of our questions. So close to the beautiful beach. And house is kept in great condition. Would highly recommend this property.

The place has a great reverse living layout, was impeccable in every detail. We were easily able to move in for the week. It comfortably accommodated six adults and two children. Although it is on the main street, we are able to walk behind the house to the lane to get to the beautiful beach. The place was clean and feels new. The kitchen had everything we needed. It has a lot of stairs but worth the climb to the kitchen/living area. The traffic noise in three bedrooms was the only adjustment, but after the weekend it was minimal. Can park five cars in front, and if need be, a garage space is available.

Stayed 2 weeks. House was everything we could have asked for. Plus we didn't have to worry about bringing beach chairs or umbrellas as there were plenty already there. There were also 2 bikes which allowed us to get in some exercise. Plentry of room and beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. Will definitely return. Short walk on quiet street to the beach which was 4 houses behind us. Clean beaches with lifeguards at end of street. Beaches were not crowded. Owners take pride in house and it shows. AC worked great during hottest days.

Just finished a family vacation for 10 at Dolphin Watch. It was our first time staying on LBI and it worked out really well--even the weather was fantastic. The house is clean, roomy, well stocked with kitchen necessities, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, movies and a ping pong table in the garage. As bikers, we were able to ride to the lighthouse and back(under 10 miles) in the morning and be on the clean, beautiful beach in the afternoon. Harvey Cedars is a great location-a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the more commercial areas. This is definitely a place to revisit.

The owners are super nice people and take great pride and care in their home, and make you feel at home. Dolphin Watch is a modern, clean, updated comfortable house with good air conditioning, reliable internet and several cable TVs in the house. The property is very well stocked - from a complete kitchen to many beach chairs and beach toys. Good grill on a great deck for outside eating (and a separate solid plastic picnic table for the little ones) and a rooftop deck for watching the bay and sunset. Easy, short walk to the beach on the ocean side. Great outdoor shower when you return from the beach. A very short walk across the road to nightly magnificent sunsets on the bay. For a bicycling enthusiast, you go right from the garage to miles of flat roads (less than 5 miles to the lighthouse). We would definitely love to come back and our children and grandchildren feel the same way.

This place is a great rental for families! Very close to the beach, great deck space, good size bedrooms, very nice views and super clean! Great location in Harvey Cedars as well, super close to restaurants and shops. I will be back again next summer for sure!

This was our first vacation to LBI and our first experience with VRBO. Both were fantastic!! The owners of this property are wonderful caring people who obviously want their guests to enjoy the property as if it were their own. They have thought of everything!! The kitchen is fully stocked as well as beach toys and beach equipment. We all enjoyed the outdoor shower, sunsets on the deck, BBQ'ing, cooking and drinking, beach days, cycling Long beach Blvd, walks to town. You name it we did it and the location of this property was perfect for it all!! We were a group of 10 with the youngest being an 18 month old. There was even a pack-n-play for her! We all fit very comfortable. We did not feel cramped for space and the 5 kids had a blast. Plenty of things in the house to keep them busy and the Ping Pong table was a big hit! If you like comfort and a clean modern house, Dolphin Watch would be a great place to vacation. We will be back next year for sure!!

We have spent 3 years at LBI for our family vacations. This year we chose Dolphin Watch and had such a nice time. It fronts a busy road, but we kept the front door locked so the little people wouldn't use it. And that worked out fine, because the owner's neighbors behind Dolphin House let renters get to the beach by cutting through their yards. Traffic noise wasn't a problem for us , we always had music playing by day and had sound machines on overnight. Shirley and Darryl were very helpful with any questions we had. We had room for our 11 family members . My daughters brought PackNPlays and a double sized air bag. Everybody was comfortable. The master bedroom and bath is lovely. The other bedrooms are great as well. The kitchen is bright and open and equipped with anything we needed. We grilled on the outside deck often . As I said, we cut through neighbors yard to get the the beach, which is just a short walk away. The beach is beautiful. The kids really enjoyed playing in the sand together. The water was chilly but didn't stop many of us from swimming. You can cross the road to walk to the bay but we didn't do that much as we were really enjoying the beach on "our" side. Everyone left happy that we chose Dolphin House. LBI is such a great, family oriented place. It was a wonderful vacation .

Our extended family of 10 has vacationed in great locations on both coasts, and we all agree Dolphin Watch afforded the best of everything: accommodating and available hosts; spacious, airy, well-maintained home; and ideal location half a block from a clean, guarded swimming beach. We love to cook and made good use of the well-stocked kitchen. The sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodated grandparents, two sets of parents, and 4 grandkids, aged 4-14. In the late afternoon and evening, after long days at the beach, we made good use of the 3-level decks for lounging, reading, cooking on the grill, dining, and (on the roof deck) sunset-watching. LBI and surrounds offers innumerable pleasures, but we found so much to love at Dolphin Watch that we never strayed far. Hope to return again and again.

We have rented a number of properties via VRBO, and this home is surely the best. The owners have appointed it just as they would like it--high quality furnishings and kitchen, tasteful decor, attention to detail in every way, response to questions or concerns. Close to the beach, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc, second fridge in the garage--so many amenities that are not provided by others. You can't beat Dolphin Watch!

We had a great vacation at the Dolphin Watch. We even saw some dolphins. The house was a perfect fit for our family Everything was very clean and the house was well equipped. Everything we needed was there; bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, gas grill, tv's and plenty of room for our group of nine. I would definitely consider this place for a vacation in the future.

Very close to the beach, great kitchen setup for entertaining. The owners of the property were very helpful and attentive to all our questions prior to the visit. We have been to lbi several times staying at hotels and house rentals, and would definately return to this house.

Dolphin Watch is a beautiful house with 5* accommodations. We were 7 adults, 2 teenagers and a 7 yr old and we were all able to enjoy the house. From the moment we stepped it felt like home. The house is more than spacious in addition to the numerous decks for outside living. The beach is a 2 minute walk and the owners provided beach chairs and umbrellas. This house is great for any season if the year. I would definitely come back to Dolphin Watch.

We just got back from Dolphin Watch - we had an amazing week, lots of family time! We mainly cooked in, walked to a couple of places for dinner- Harvey Cedars Shellfish and Black Eyed Susan's, but other than that used the beautiful well equipped kitchen to make some great meals together. The home provide lots of space, with the open concept kitchen dining and living rooms all on the same level. Everything was immaculate and we felt at home the minute we arrived. The pictures proved accurate for sure, actually the home is nicer than the pictures in my view. The weather for the week was great and we saw fireworks going off over the ocean the night of the 4th! We will be back! Additionally, the owners were sweet and trustworthy. We had left a money clip by accident with money in it and it was returned promptly by mail to us. Thank you again Shirley and Darryl!

My family and I had a wonderful time this summer at your home. We had family members come visit and stay a few days. The home was immaculate and the pictures are accurate. The many extras the owners include such as beach wagon, toys and beach chairs are a big plus when trying to pack a car. The close proximity to the beach was also great, I felt comfortable letting the teenagers come and go. We had so much space we could be together in the large family room or for quiet time escape to the many decks and rooms available. We will be back for sure.

My family has rented a house on LBI every year for the past 10. Last summer was our first stay at Dolphin Watch and it was by far the best rental we have stayed in. The owners keep the house spotlessly clean and have thought of every detail when it comes to the comfort of their renters. We are looking forward to returning to this beautiful home next summer.

We rented this lovely home for the past two years. The photographs do not do it justice. Dolphin Watch is clean, comfortable and loaded with everything we needed to have a delightful week at the Jersey Shore. Beach chairs, children's toys, umbrella's and a Wonder Wheel for our beach outings were all provided. The amenities are too numerous to mention but they do have a Keurig machine and they leave you the pods!!!!!!!!! Our whole family loves everything about this home. It is truly a home away from home.

I stayed in Dolphin Watch for a week during my son's wedding festivities. It's a beautiful, exceptionally well equipped home. Other than linens, Shirley and Darryl have provided for just about everything. The weather didn't cooperate,but the house was perfect! Thank you Shirley and Darryl for the use of your amazing home.
