house decor requires to be be updated, plus stained carpet. no garden or outside place to sit.

The location and view is great. It is a lovely house with lots of original art work. The soundproofing must be good as upstairs guests moved around without disturbing sleeping guests in downstairs room. Comfy sunny sitting room. Spacious.

Had a right challenge getting 2 long cars parked so as not to disrupt users of garages opposite. Door locks weren't easy. Soon after check-in I got list of check-out instructions that didn't impress me. Given so much emphasis on the cleanliness & so many charges for any leeway the letting agency expect you to do the cleaning team's job. Ironically had we not been instructed to strip all beds (a first in all my travelling days) we wouldn't have found all the stains on the mattress and protector. A last minute downer! Separate feedback sent to agency.

Location good, house clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Showers excellent.

We were 5 female friends and had expected 5 beds as per picture; disappointed to find that 2 single beds had been joined and made up as one. Found other twin room to be very cramped for 2 adults.

there is an issue with the en-suite drain. when the toilet flushes,water enters the shower tray. this isn’t a complaint,more an observation

Personal opinion, didn’t like the split level living i.e kitchen downstairs living area upstairs.

Location was good for what we needed

When we entered property we noticed one off dining room chairs were coming apart at the back ,when we went to use down stairs shower next morning shower tray filled up quickly and nearly flooded floor water took ages to go away hence upstairs shower was really the only one to use. We went to use airier to hang our towels on after shower to discover it only had 3 legs ,when we went to use washing machine there was still water in it ,so we wondered if there is a problem with drainage. Property location good but badly needs updating. Would not recommend to young family’s due to steep stairs and no gate at top for young ones especially as sitting room is upstairs.but view from sitting room fabulous.

Central location, great layout of property and had all the facilities we needed.

Proximity to beach.

Parking was not as easy as anticipated, rather difficult positioning two large cars without impacting other residents. The kitchen needs an upgrade, and definitely more dishwasher tablets and extra tea towels. The bedside tables downstairs would be better with a piece of glass on top.,

The proximity to the beach was fantastic and we spent most of our time down there thanks to the weather. Great view from the living room. Well equipped kitchen for self catering requirements. Although some things in the house were a bit dated it was great for all we needed. I’d possibly agree with other reviews about a nice outside seating area but in general we couldn’t fault much about our stay.

Smaller upstairs bedroom needs a bit of updating and had a video cassette player in it.

House was excellent, very comfortable with everything we needed. Good location as very central. All very clean and tidy.

We thought it might be helpful to have a yellow strip put on the black steps into the kitchen as at night with there being two steps it was difficult to distinguish them.

Close to beach, off street parking and plenty room across the two floors.

Great location.

The very old fridge was not working on arrival, and was smelly. The freezer was full of water. We phoned that evening & did get a replacement the following afternoon, which needed a clean. We were not contacted again to offer compensation for our shopping which had to be binned, which is poor customer service & very disappointing. Take note there is no garden or outside table. There was space for parking at garages, but had to be careful as other cars coming & going for their garages. We found it easier to park on the street which is free parking anyway everywhere in Elie. Bed not comfortable downstairs. In general its a nice property but dated.
