Clean, comfortable, nice amenities! Could have used a bit more heat and higher water temperature for showering.

We had a great time on vacation. The house is nice and in a great location. Had a few miner things- wind storm had just hit before we arrived and the pool and outside was extremely dirty-master bathroom had a broken shower handle- the front door has a system where you enter the code to unlock- that stopped working and needed a new battery. Beds were amazing, weather was amazing....I would go back again- plus absolutely loved having a pool in the yard.

Nice yard and great pool and hot tub that were perfectly heated! It was a chilly weekend and we could use the pool bc it was warm! We paid extra of course but it was worth it. Pool is small but fine for relaxing. House location was convenient to the freeway and Palm Desert/Indio/Coachella but far from Palm Springs. We obviously knew that when booking but would stay closer next time. The house is actually nice and very comfortable! However when we arrived, there was an awful, strong scent from air fresheners. Overwhelming and headache-inducing. We immediately went around and opened all the windows and sliders, turned all fans on, found and removed all the plug in and shelf air fresheners and put them outside. My friend is not sensitive to smells and she was the most bothered. We realized we had no control over AC. We just wanted it to circulate the air. We contacted the owner who (after all day and many back and forths) told us we could have either heat or AC. We chose AC bc the house was warm and we prefer to be cooler. Then that evening, we realized we couldn’t lower the AC below 72.. which was pointless for us. We are women over 40 who get hot! Out in sun, drinking, hot showers and hair dryers, etc. And, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the windows open all night. Anyway, just frustrating that even after asking, he wouldn’t lower it. For the price we were paying, it was ridiculous. Also, the patio table and chairs were filthy but we cleaned them, and chalked it up to wind/dust. The other issues were very limited bath towels available. And the 2 folded in the closet were dirty… gross. Owner says he put out enough for the # of guests. 3 guests should have 6 bath towels, at least 3 hand towels. We had 4 bath towels and 2 hand towels. They also only had 2 extra rolls of toilet paper for the whole house (in addition to the 2 on the holders). We had to go buy toilet paper. Seriously? For what we paid, they can’t give us more TP? And after requesting more towels, and not receiving, we just used pool towels and did laundry. On another note, kitchen was great! Beds not great in guest rooms but master was really nice! Overall good place but not a great experience. Such a bummer. And we’re very experienced vacation renters! We would recommend but just be aware of the AC/heat situation and bring toilet paper! Or ask for more in advance. Enjoy!

Stayed here with friends and our doggo for two days trips to Joshua Tree (about 1hr drive). Place was so impeccable and all of the details super dialed in, down to very comfortable linen, luxurious toiletries and kitchen drawers labeled. House has everything you need and we enjoyed the nice grill, lawn games, and the spa that heats up in ten minutes very much! Highly recommend!
