My stepson graduated and so we drove down from DFW area for the weekend. We had family fly into Houston airport which was not difficult to get to from there. There are multiple areas so it was nice to help give people their own space. I can not think of anything negative to say about this house.

The house was exactly as advertised. Owners were amazing and accommodating. Hope to come back here again.

Overall the home was perfect for our group of 6. Grandparents and 4 of our grandchildren. The house is on the edge of a cove with neighbors on both sides and directly across. At the time of our arrival the lake was very low leaving us no access to fish or kayak from property. We ventured out to Lake Livingston State Park for activities. With that being said we barely got the kids past the game room for majority of trip. They had a blast. Please be aware it is separate from house in terms of entrance. Separate doorway not accessible from inside the house. There are multiple levels of stairs so a lot of tripping up and down. We didn’t mind but some might. Be aware there aren’t a lot of family restaurants nearby so we cooked a lot for kids. Absolutely the only thing I would say is that like most places, pots and pans desperately needed replacing. We purchased some to get by. The kids spent nights out by fire pit making s’mores playing zombies and having a great time. Also, there is no hot tub but just a jacuzzi tub in master bath. Big difference and one we had been looking forward to. However, wasn’t a dealbreaker and being spring break you can’t just do a reset. If the lake water had been up we would have been extremely satisfied. Dean is a very nice host and very nice to offer is home out. Hope to visit again!

Great Value. Location on water is excellent. It was in a canal, shallow and soft bed to walk and play on for the kids. Plus it was calmer than the main lake, but still super-close to main lake. Yard was smaller than expected, but really didn't matter when we were in the water all day. Great sunrise views. Beds were super comfortable. Plenty of space for large group to gather to eat or play games. House and neighborhood are older, but that really didn't factor in much, only on setting expectations. Easy to get to. Owner was very responsive to questions and clear on instructions. Great house! Thanks Dean!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The house had plenty of space for our little ones to play, and it had everything we needed. The only slight downside was the lake was a bit low due to the drought so we didn't get to fish from the dock or kayak. We we likely stay again when the lake is a bit higher. Thank you!

We really loved the house! The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The extra room downstairs is perfect if you have teenage kids. They can just hang down there. The lake water was low but it was kind of nice because the younger kids could reach. Will definitely plan another weekend trip and stay here.

What a perfect place for a get away! I wanted to pack up the home and lake to bring it back with us. Dean was great with communicating with us, and we loved the space and the neighbors!! They had the sweetest Great Danes and they let us fish on their property since the lake was too low by our dock. We went with a friend family and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The first day there, we rarely even saw the kids. They enjoyed every inch of the game room! The kids did not sleep in there. I had read past reviews that said there was no access through the house to the room, so we decide to bring an air mattress for the boys, and the girls got a room. The livingroom was PLENTY big for 2 air mattresses if we would have had them! Bottom line, this was a great place to stay. We look forward to coming back in the future.

The homes in the neighborhood were really close together, but the house was very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, with the drought, the lake was low and we were unable to bring the boat up to the dock. I've lived on Lake Conroe before, so we were familiar with the onslaught of midges that come through the door each time it's opened. I would suggest putting a couple of bug zappers in the yard to redirect them there. Some will still get in, but it won't look like a bug version of the Alfred Hitchcock's movie, The Birds.

The property was lovely. Beds were comfortable, view was perfect, and we had a wonderful time. The hosts were very prompt with responses. We would stay here again!

We booked Bluewater for an after prom weekend. We had 6 teens and 2 moms in our group and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room and had a blast with the kayaks. I was not familiar with Lake Livingston at all but learned that this was the rougher side of the lake. The ocean like waves did not deter our kids from jumping in. They all said it was the best weekend ever.

This home is full of entertainment for all the age groups. Our kids loved the game room, and we loved the lake view, kayak, fire pit… price also very reasonable… owner also very accommodating and helpful. we will definitely visit this home again…

My adult children and I decided to surprise my husband with a weekend getaway to celebrate his birthday. We loved our stay. The house was spacious enough for all of our family, clean and located perfectly on the lake. We spent the weekend fishing, and relaxing. I will definitely be returning.

Very nice house. It had everything we needed. Game room was a hit for the teenagers.

The house is well maintained, the owners communicated with us in a timely manner. The property was clean and the boat dock was enjoyable to fish off. My kids enjoyed the downstairs game room .

Did not realize the bunk bed room was not accessible from main living area. Only accessible from outside....not willing to let young children stay there by themselves.

Our stay was very relaxing and much needed before losing our nephews again back to the Navy! First time in 8 years that we were able to have my sister and her 3 sons all together in one house while her husband is serving our country oversees. Everyone loved the house and the neighbors in the blue house were awesome! The beds were comfy and instructions for the house were clear and we hope we followed the list! ;)

My family and I spent Christmas there and Everything was perfect. The only thing is that the room with the 4 twin beds is separated from the house other than that the house is perfect. Very relaxing. Owner let me check in early.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Water. Comfy bed, good a/c. Dean was great with all our questions. Such a relaxing deck. We enjoyed our visit. A note to those who may have mobility issues would be that there a LOT of stairs. From the driveway to the master bath, there are 5 sets of stairs. They are only 5-8 steps each but could be an issue to some. Also the water at the pier was very low with water not reaching pier at times. We were there just prior to Hurricane Nicholas so water may have been released prior to the storm but we couldn’t bring our small boat to the pier, but close. We sure enjoyed the HD TV in the living room in the evenings. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

We had a great stay! Kids enjoyed the cove area as they could wade and play in the water there. We enjoyed the porch! Very relaxing.

This lake house was great it was spacious, there was a lot of stuff to do there. Me and my family had a great time, no complaints what’s so ever. Thanks you dean for allowing us to stay there for my birthday weekend.

It was not an issue for us but could be for someone with crawling babies or mobility issues. The other thing to note is the lake is shallow very far out. Great for little ones not as fun for older kiddos. And the water is very warm almost too warm. We loved watching the sun set, watching the birds fish, kayaking in the mornings, and playing wii in the afternoons.
