We enjoyed fishing, grilling and watching the wildlife on and around the lake. We had a great time and hope to come back again next year.

Our stay was very peaceful. House is nice and the deck area is amazing, so was the screened in porch. Host is also top notch. He was super responsive and helpful. Would love to rent this house again. Experience was 10 out of 10!

We had a wonderful time at the lake house while in town for a family wedding! David was very communicative! Lake house had everything we needed and neighbors were so kind too!

Place was cute but aged from when photos had been taken. Listing says it has wifi and this was one key thing we needed so our son could work when needed while with us but the wifi was not even strong enough for our phones. He had to leave for 2 of the days so he could hook up to wifi. The home owners were very pleasent. Great places to eat nearby. If your looking to unplug and disconect this is a great place, but if you need to be able to do a bit of work then its not ideal.

Rental was great. Owner was super helpful. Lake and view are beautiful. Fishing wasn't half bad either. Rent with ease, this place was great!

We enjoyed our stay, we fished and grilled and just spent time enjoying the wildlife and the lake.

This is an adorable little property with everything you need for a quiet stay at the lake. The decor is lovely. The screened in back porch is an oasis, and the backyard and dock are everything lake lovers could want. There are several available grills and a firepit, for all your outdoor dining and s'more needs. The location is really idyllic, since the neighbors are quiet and most watersports are some distance removed. Caveat 1: It's definitely small. While you ~can~ sleep 10 to 12 people here, it would be very tight, and both bathrooms are downstairs. Fortunately, our group was never all there at the same time. Caveat 2: The internet is really not great, but that's a general location problem, not a property specific problem. Good wi-fi is just hard to find out in the country. Caveat 3: For coffee fiends, there is only a Keurig and a tiny drip brewer. If you need more for the morning, make arrangements.

This is serious, the lack of WI-FI was such a good thing. We did so much more together than we have in a long time. No technical distractions.

We had a magnificent vacation. The home was clean and cozy, with lots to do inside and outside - games, kayaks, grill pit, etc. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. A great getaway.

This was our second time staying at this property. We’ve stayed in the winter and now summer. Both stays have been very enjoyable. The kids love to swim and kayak and the adults love quiet evenings on the screened in porch. The property manager is always available to answer any questions. You will love this lakehouse too!

Just spent 6 days at this gem of a property on Jackson Lake. Is it perfect, no, but what place ever is. What more than made up for any tiny flaw in the property was the excellent communication and quick responses from the owner David. He was quick to reach out shortly after I booked and was with us every step of the way. David truly went above and beyond what could be reasonably expected of a property owner. Now I said the property wasn't perfect, let me clarify. The property wasn't, and I didn't expect it to be. David told me early on it was an older property and wasn't the Ritz Carlton. It certainly is an older property with some issues here and there but those minor issues in no way took away from our experience and enjoyment. The place felt homey and lived in and was perfect for the 9 of us that spent the week there. If you're looking for a quiet place with a nice lake with great views, Jackson Lake is a great spot. If you want all that and are also looking for a communicative, friendly owner that truly cares about your experience and happiness then this is the place you want to rent. You won't be disappointed, we certainly weren't.

Easy

This was the perfect getaway on the lake. We had a low key family weekend to relax and visit the Covington area. There was lots for us to do outside from kayaking to a fire pit. There was even games to keep us entertained when a storm passed through. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was clean, quiet and comfortable with more than ample room to sprawl. We used the kayaks and enjoyed the screened porch for “outdoor” movie night. The property was easy to find & close enough to grocery, gas stations & restaurants. Our goal was “Mystic Falls” and Covington was less than half hour away—perfect! The owners were friendly & texted the keyless entry code. Would love to have stayed longer!

Everything was just as it is pictured. Very clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Loved the screened porch and the fire pit. We would definitely stay again!

We loved staying at the Lakehouse. Check in was easy, home owner was quick to reply and helpful. It is so beautiful and peaceful there! We loved fishing off the dock and having a bonfire while we were there. If we ever need to rent a vrbo when we come back this will be our go to!

The location and the property was great!

This beautiful property was everything we expected. It was very clean and quiet. Lots of good information provided by the property manager to get around Jackson. Our only difficulty was with Evolve Vacation- that you book through, communicating with them was difficult. Once was were able to reach the property manager, much easier.
