Great long weekend escape. Upon arrival place was beyond clean and well stocked with needed supplies. House is very comfortable and quite. Location is very nice with great view on the lake. Neighbor hood is very quite. Dock is very nice and the kids were able to catch some fish nice little bonus.

Very peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. Great Lake views and great hosts.

It is a small, comfortable “cottage” with an expansive view over Lake Wateree. We enjoyed the solitude. The kitchen is amply equipped, with plenty of utensils, mixing bowls, measuring cups and baking pans. The leather couch and beds are very comfortable.

This was our first time using VRBO and we were so glad that it was such a great experience. Our group was my husband, son, dog and I. The house was clean and any communication we sent to the owner was quickly answered. We enjoyed swinging on the dock and even took the kayaks out around the lake. It was such a relaxing place to visit. My son uses a wheelchair and it was pretty accessible. There was one step into the sleeping areas, which the owner told us about beforehand. He got around great and we all had a wonderful and relaxing time. My son said that this rates higher than our trip to Kentucky because the wi-fi was better here. I definitely feel like he's missing the spirit of getting away to the lake, but he was right- great internet connection, he even managed to do some school work, which I'm sure he wished he hadn't brought up the internet being great at that point. We would totally stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Blue House. The lake is so beautiful and serene. We enjoyed watching all the wildlife. The house has everything you need. We loved the screened porch. Randy was very helpful. The neighborhood is very pet friendly and our 2 pups had a great time!

My wife and I stayed 5 nights here with our 2 dogs. The property is absolutely fabulous. The house is very clean, neat, and nicely furnished. The dock is large and a very nice place to sip on a drink, fish, swim or just relax. The most comfortable and restful vacation we’ve ever taken.

Clean, well-maintained property with beautiful view of Lake Wateree. One bathroom, but the house is spacious enough to accommodate 4 - 6 people. There are several options for outdoor seating including the large screened in porch. Very relaxing and quiet area. We would not hesitate to return to this property in the future.

Great Lake house with an awesome dock!

I rented this property to celebrate my wife’s and my son’s birthdays! This was the first time I had ever used VRBO so I was a little skeptical. Boy was I ever wrong. The owner was very quick to answer any questions I had. When we arrived, the property was absolutely spotless. The photos in the ad are awesome but still don’t do the property any justice. The view was absolutely spectacular. The dock was the favorite of the kids for swimming and fishing. Overall great experience. If you have any idea about renting this place, DO IT! You will not be disappointed! We will be back!

This house and location was perfect for the quiet escape our family was looking for. The view was amazing, the swimming area fantastic, and the house is pristine. It is a new rental, so hasn't had time to build up some of the things you might expect in the house. The kitchen is supplied very basically... and we couldn't find some things I expected, like a strainer, but for the most part, we had no issues. I would suggest you take plenty of bottled water though. The only issue I had was that the water smells and tastes very strongly. Also be sure to pack laundry supplies. We would gladly return.

This property was perfect for our family. The house is a perfect get away. Everything is neat, clean, and as advertised. We were able to bring our boat and leave it tied to the dock the entire stay. I highly recommend this property as we will be back.

My family and I decided to stay in this lovely home for about a week, and we can confidently say that it was one of the best trips we've ever taken. The house was outstanding; it was clean, spacious, and perfectly supported our needs for the time being. This lakefront property allowed us to have so much fun throughout our stay. The water access easily provided us with the ability to conveniently use our jet ski and enjoy our time. This place was very safe, comfortable, and a great way to spend some quality time with family. I highly recommend !

This was our first time visiting Lake Wateree and we loved how peaceful it was! We will definitely rent this cute little cottage again! It was very clean and had everything we needed. And pet friendly!! Loved the screened porch and WiFi worked great.
