Great location and beach house. Loved every minute of our stay. Close to beach. Beach walkover is right across the street. Walk to restaurants. Kids loved it! Highly recommend.

I am very particular about where I stay - cleanliness and comfort matter a lot to me. We have stayed at this property 4 times and are always impressed. The proximity to the beach is perfect. The end of the beach where the property is situated is less crowded than other sections. The house itself is consistently clean and over the years has been well-maintained and even improved, rather than being allowed to deteriorate as some properties do. The hosts are incredibly informative and responsive. There is no where we would rather stay in Surfside. We highly recommend this property!

We loved this beach house none of us wanted to leave. jelly fish were horrible but didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. Everything we needed was easily found and there to use.

Our family of 5 adults and 3 children ages 9,6, and 18 months enjoyed our stay. 2nd row with beach views, short walk to beach and restaurant, sat on balcony and listened to band at the restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights. Very comfy with all amenities! Thanks!

Property was nice.. but as soon as you turn on the water it smelled like sewer... we couldn't take a shower or brush my teeth with the water that came out of faucets. Thank goodness my parents were staying close by at another rental and we showered/ brushed my teeth there. Overall if you want to smell like sewer... this is the place to stay. I would hope they would not rent this place out until owners repair the water issue.

I am a repeat guest at Reese's Rendezvous. Once again, it was a wonderful experience. 2nd row, just steps away from the beach. The home is well maintained and extremely well stocked. The owner's made themselves available, should I need to communicate for any reason or should any problem arise. Of course, there were no issues. Just real nice people. Eagerly planning my next get away.

We rented last minute and we’re so thankful we got this house! We’ve used VRBO many times and this was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed! The extras provided by the owners was unbelievable and so greatly appreciated! If we ever are back in the area, we will definitely stay at this house again!!

This is a great place to stay! Yard is a little small and has burrs so watch out for your pups. But overall- the location is awesome and has great beach access!

This was our first trip to Surfside. We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. It was one of the best outfitted and cleanest homes we've ever stayed at. Communication was excellent throughout. We had no issues, as all our instructions were very clear. Check-in was a breeze, beds were comfy, every little thing is thought of. The home is small, but because of the layout, it is still well-suited for larger parties or two families. The showers are small, but the water pressure is great and the showerheads are extended, so they're comfortable even for tall people. We had no problem finding the water filling station (bring cash). The walkover to the beach is right across from the driveway, so it's very convenient ( we have small kids, a canopy, and a giant cooler, so we opted to drive on from the entrance down the road, though). Although the view isn't great, the deck is so lovely, and actually somewhat shielded from the stiff sea breeze. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great first experience.

Very nice place we had 5 adults and one child, and everyone was very comfortable. Clean secure and convenient. The Owners provided clear instructions and answered questions very quickly. The only negative thing for me was the loud music from the bar but I am not a bar person nor a music person so it may be a big positive for most people. The bands stopped playing at 11 o'clock so it was not anything that kept me up.

This was exactly what we were looking for in a mini vacation away from the city. The property is very cute and has everything you need. And it’s a 2 minute walk to the beach! Definitely recommend!

My elementary-aged daughter and I stayed for a week this summer and we loved it. The rooms were clean and kitchen was stocked with the appliances and cookware we needed to cook for a week. I really loved the ability to use the washer/dryer! On Fridays and Saturdays the restaurant next door plays music until about 10:30, but that’s the only thing that was surprising and in hindsight not a big deal at all. We loved all the photos of the family in the home and I could tell the owners created the house with so much love. The way that the home is decorated and designed, you could comfortably sleep 10 people. I had to work a few of the days and the internet was reliable and stable. We even got to experience a brief storm with 50 mph gusts of wind and everything was just fine. We loved it and hope to return soon!

Great place to stay. Plenty of places to sleep and everything you need except for plastic food storage containers, for leftovers.

-Cozy cottage, accommodating for all guests -Quiet neighborhood, great for kids -Steps away from a beautiful, clean beach -Close to touristy Galveston, but away from the hustle/bustle

Everything about the house and owners was amazing and as described. Tons of extra amenities that I have never seen in a VRBO. We also loved the super short walk to the beach. We did have a big issue with mosquitoes. Of course, this is not the fault of the owner, but it definitely had a negative impact on our stay. On the beach we were fine, but under the house, on walks, and at the outdoor restaurants the mosquitoes were terrible. Not sure if it was due to the recent weather, or if they are always bad? Either way, bring your spray. We went through 4 cans!

This was our third trip to Reese’s Rendezvous and it gets better every time. The hosts are outstanding and have tended to every detail at the property. It is exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you need. Our children were finally old enough that we visited the Beachfront Deck this time. The proximity is great if you want a night out of the kitchen or away from the grill without leaving the property. The property location is perfect - it’s one row back from the beach, but still close enough to see and hear the ocean. I cannot recommend this property enough. You won’t be sorry if you stay here!
