Blue Crab Cottage was the perfect spot for our vacation. Everything was as described and photographed. The location was within walking distance or a short drive to stores and restaurants. The walk to the beach was easy (there is a traffic light and crosswalk to get across). The owner provided detailed information prior to our arrival about many things related to the rental. We will be returning to Blue Crab Cottage in the future that’s for sure.

We loved our stay here. The property is conveniently located directly across from a beach access. Totally stocked with all the beach gear you could possibly need. Beds were super comfy! Kids, husband and myself slept like a dream. 2 small pools at the Romeo properties which my kids loved! We also loved the location next to gulf shores state park! Such a gorgeous area. Planning our next stay already.

The host David was super easy to reach very responsive. The condo was very clean and decorated really nicely. The location of the condo was perfect it took two minutes to get to the beach that was directly across the street. Shopping and restaurants all a very short drive. We enjoyed the cactus Cantina and Lulu‘s restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

This part of Gulf Shores beach is quiet, clean and clear water (other areas seem to have more seaweed and flotsam). There are rental chairs and umbrellas available or just carry the premium stuff provided with the cottage. Inside is very well appointed. Design and quality of furnishings were great. The open floor plan is spacious, comfortable and perfect for entertaining. Kitchen was perfect and had everything you need for an evening in (including service for 12 people). Communication with the owner was seamless. I received entry instructions a day before I arrived. They were clear and complete. I was even notified that I could check in early since the cleaning service completed ahead of plan. If you are looking for a beautiful location that’s quiet, comfortable and close (enough) to restaurants and entertainment, get on the list for this cottage. My wife and I will definitely be staying here again.

The house was perfect. Has everything you need to sleep 6-8 people, kitchen is stocked with every item you need to cook meals. Great deck, community pool and 2 minute walk to beach. The property owner David is fantastic to deal with. First class in everything he did for us. Was always helping us find things to do and restaurants to eat at and always had a prompt response to any of our questions. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great beach vacation in Gulf Shores. We will go back.
