Family run bed & breakfast with a real Italian feel. The family welcome was so sweet and mDe us feel very welcome. The breakfast in the garden was amazing and the highlight pastries, freshest fruit, ham, cheese, and more. No need for lunch!! The location is great for the train station and a short walk to the local beach on the lake. Really glad we stayed in Lierna and not in Varenna, as only a quick train ride away. A few wonderful restaurants nearby and a supermarket to buy food to prepare yourself in the kitchenette, if you don't want to eat out. The pool was lovely too, with mountain views. Would highly recommend. Thanks to the family for making our Lake Como stay memorable.

The location is right by the train station, so you do hear the rumble of trains but it didn't bother us. We were travelling by train so was important to be near station.

I can honestly say that this is the best b&b we've ever stayed at. Vila Laura is pure magic. The house is beautiful, with a lovely pool and beautiful garden. We stayed in the separate building, which was so spacious and equipped with everything you could need. We appreciated the facilities to cook some meals, and the air-conditioning was great for the nights. The absolute best about Vila Laura is the breakfast, with lots of tasty pastries and fresh fruit, and coffee to die for. Thanks again to the whole family for all your care! We hope to visit again.

Villa Laura is so much more than a place to stay, you are welcomed by the sweetest family, they do everything to make you feel hospitality at the highest level. you are a guest, however also welcomed as almost a part of the family. We have never before experienced such a great combination between including guests in such as warm and fantastic way. We will recommend this to everyone who wants to get a fabulous experience like this. And we will return.

What a fantastic place to stay! I can only highly recommend it. The hosts were so nice and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and even went out of their way to make us an early breakfast on our final day. Fantastic pool to cool down in. Wonderfully kind & generous family

Our rooms were facing the road and it’s very noisy. If you don’t have a car here you are close to the station but the trains don’t all stop at Lierna and few taxis are available

Breakfast was magnificent, plenty of fresh fruit and berries every morning. Even better than in the pictures! Apartment was great, beautifully maintained villa dating from late 19th hundred. Nice pool and a 2-min walk for a morning swim in Lake Como, also boat / kayak / sup rental very near. A family-run business, great service and attention to details. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect!!

quiet, clean, comfortable, private. the host really made you feel like a part of their family. spoiled by healthy breakfast and cappuccino every morning.

lierna is a little further away from the touristy Varenna area where many of our tours started, so we had to figure out the train schedule to travel back a forth.

Everything about this place was truly genuine and so nice! We were greeted and hosted in the best of ways and would recommend it to everyone. The family was super helpful with transport and recommendations in the area. Left the weekend with warmth in our hearts! Thanks a lot

The family was very welcoming. When we arrived, the first thing they did was to feed our hungry 12 year old.

There was no fan in the room, but when we requested one, they went out and bought one on a Sunday.

A very charming last century villa, wonderful owners, great location, easy to get by car, train or ferry, amazing view to the lake and mountains.

Lierna is a small and charming village connected by train and boat to the locations on the west bank of Como lake as well as those in the central part (Bellagio). Villa Laura is enchanting old villa with the best hosts/ owners you can imagine. We have enjoyed our family holidays there and we will surely come back.

Breakfast was lovely, with home made cake every day and ample choice of spreads and fresh fruits, yoghurts, etc. The pool was a real bonus after a long hot day of exploring. Location with parking was perfect. Wifi excellent. View from balcony. Close to the lake. Last but not least, the owners were lovely, they went above and beyond to make our stay really pleasant.
