One of our favorite places that we have stayed in a while! The owner has great communication and always responds quickly. The house itself is perfect for a stay in Irvington and being in a prime location. You can walk to the Tides Inn, to the little downtown area..it's a great spot. We spent quite a bit of time in the house as well just because it was so pleasant. Read on the porch with a glass of wine, set up lawn games in the backyard, cooked and played games at night inside. The house was stocked well and the decor made you feel right at home. We are already wanting to return! Thank you so much and I hope we get the pleasure of staying in your beautiful home again!

The house was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for the beverages on arrival. Location was close to area small towns. Local seafood restaurants were great. We had a great stay. Wifi was not available the last few days.

Nice house and perfect location for our stay for a weekend of family events! Maurie was prompt to respond to questions and overall booking and check-in/out were easy.

Wonderful place to get away from it all. Charming, clean home with lots of character. Fantastic location to walk to restaurants and easy drive to other activities. Host was very communicative too!

What a great VRBO! Maurie (the host) was very responsive to any questions we had, and the place perfect for us as we visited a few of the quaint towns in the area.

Comfortable home in a sweet little town
Our family of four stayed here while visiting my mom. The house was exactly as pictured, very well-stocked, comfortable and perfectly located for our purposes. We were trying not to bring any germs to my mom so we especially appreciated the pretty outdoor spaces including the front porch, the back deck, the outdoor dining table and the chairs further down the yard. Irvington was a lovely little town and the three bikes with the house were enjoyed to explore and go to breakfast. We ate at the casual restaurant on the water at the Tides Inn one night at sunset and it was gorgeous. We also had good meals at the Local and the Office Bistro. The house was comfortable for us and two teenagers; we would definitely stay again.

Second Stay at Irvington House
House is clean and great location within walking distance to restaurants and shopping! This was our second stay in this lovely home and we enjoyed every minute and plan to return again. Maurie is easy to communicate with and very responsive.

The property was extremely clean. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the bikes and the beds were comfortable. Only a few minimal complaints which did not affect how much we enjoyed the property: too much air freshener and the outside area. The grass was not cut and the wooden outdoor furniture was in rough condition - all the pieces were cracked and the cushions were dirty. The outside did not match how beautifully the inside was decorated, very tasteful. It was a great location and we had a wonderful time!

Family long weekend stay
This is a great property and we will be renting again! It’s location is unbeatable. It was clean, comfortable, with a great yard and in walking distance to restaurants In Irvington. Maurie, our host could not be more friendly and was available for any questions. We had 2 adult children working remotely there and had no issues with the internet. There were 5 of us there and we were very comfortable! The kitchen is also very well supplied. Maurie we will be back and feel so fortunate we can rent this gem!

Beautiful property, gracious host
Such a nice, relaxing visit with our son and his dog. The backyard was totally fenced and the dogs loved it! The house was clean with all necessary supplies and extra amenities. We loved riding bikes every day through Irvington. The television picture was sharp (we need to get a new tv now!!) Maurie quickly answered all questions prior to our visit and even left message asking if we arrived safely (but I didn't see it until we got home!). Excellent VRBO!

Fantastic Value -Sweet
Everything was just easy. Backyard for the dogs was great. House was super super clean and well equipped. Communication was timely. Location is fantastic with bikes available and restaurants less than han a five minute ride or ten minute walk. If there were more stars available, I would use them all to rate this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief time in this lovely, clean home with a big backyard and bikes to ride! A relaxing 2 days of sailing and R &R. She’s a Super Host so stay here!

Warm and Welcoming!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed a quiet, relaxing Christmas weekend in this home! The place was cute, comfy and clean. Communication with owner before and during was great. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others...regardless of the fact that it is more comfortably suited for 4 adults and the bathrooms (while decent) are not as nice as the rest of the house.

Lovely home in Irvington for a getaway
My husband and I brought my mother for a week to enjoy the local food and scenery. The home was well equipped for our stay, and included linens, although I didn't realize this, so we brought and used our own. Lovely decor, great outdoor spaces, wonderfully stocked refrigerator with beverages. One issue we had was that my husband was working from the home during the week, and the internet was very slow. Just something to be aware of.
Overall, great house in a wonderful location.

Exceeded Expectations
House is well maintained, with a large, fenced backyard that are dogs loved. Home is very clean and has basic provisions. It’s a quick walk to a resort where we enjoyed eating. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful house in great location
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our Northern Neck visit. The house was impeccably clean with comfy beds and furniture. Kitchen had all the necessities and then some. Fully fenced backyard was great for the dogs. Deck was nice for cocktails and socializing while wrought iron table and chairs on the patio were perfect for al fresco dining. Location in Irvington was perfect: quiet residential area with little traffic but walking distance to shops and restaurants in town as well as to the Tides Inn in the other direction. Wish we could have stayed longer.
