Bed was comfortable, shower had nice pressure w/plenty of hot water, Michael was responsive. In the morning, sipping coffee, listening to the water feature and the birds as the sun rose was an amazing way to start our day. Then after chasing a 3 y/o granddaughter all day, the HOT TUB was the perfect way to end the day!

We went to the house and saw that it was in a neighborhood with houses very close to each othet. We thought this in a secluded area. The pictures were misleading.

Comfortable and clean. Did not like all the TV lighting while trying to sleep. Needed more than 1 wash cloth per person for 4 nights. But we should have asked for more overall it was nice. Loved the back yard nature

It was clean. It was cozy nice and relaxing very peaceful would love to come back again and I will definitely tell friends and family about it I would rate this place with five stars any day

Nice property but I don’t think it should be advertised as an apartment. We assumed it was some sort of duplex or upper lower level units. A little misleading when it comes to the description, it should be advertised as the lower level of the hosts home. As a traveler from other states it could of been misleading. We were scared to talk and my husband has a deep voice so it can be awkward when your staying in someone’s basement. On the bright side, The property was clean and it gave us the home away from home feel. Check in and check out we’re both seamless. The temperature stayed very warm and cozy. We brought extra blankets and used the multiple heaters next to bed and couch. Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at the little suite in Acworth. We found the rock path to get around to the entrance quaint, but wouldn’t work well for anyone with mobility issues. Getting to the path is a bit awkward as you have to navigate down the driveway of the house past large work trucks. The outside space is serene with lots of natural ground cover and a little koi pond and space for a burn pit down by a nearby runoff stream. The little refrigerator and microwave were convenient. The bed is comfortable, but the headboard fits loosely and can rattle against the wall with any movement. The hot water in the shower takes a bit to warmup and the adjustments are tricky. The couch is comfortable, television is nice and the special lighting was fun and unique. The hot tub was very nice and we enjoyed using it a few times, however it is in need of a good cleaning and treatment as there was scum on the sides and the water was murky. This space is good if you need a place in the area and we would recommend it overall.

Beautiful back yard and nice amenities. Great value. Pretty private considering it's part of the owner's house. Footsteps can be heard from above, but it was never a problem for us or at inconsiderate times. Location is very convenient to downtown Acworth. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Enjoyed the host and family greatly

The decor and amenities in the studio were fine, bed was comfortable. We found it to have several inconveniences. There was a small trek to the basement room but was complicated by a very uneven path over steps and rocks that were difficult to walk while carrying rolling luggage that you couldn’t roll. Sat outside for a while and the outside lights came on. When inside, our puppy was in a crate we lugged down not knowing a crate was in the closet we probably could have used. Would have been nice to know. The room was not as cool as we would have liked. We couldn’t find the thermostat only to find out that we had no control over it as it was upstairs. Owner did say he would lower it. All we had seen on the listing was ‘Pets allowed’ with the host being informed. I had informed the Host. He tells me after we have checked in that in looking back he sees that we have dog and need to pay a Pet Fee. Nowhere did I see a Pet Fee mentioned. It was only $25 so I paid it but double checked cannot find a Pet Fee mentioned. There were only 2 outlets in the apartment visible to us - within 3 feet of each other. We found none in the living room. We told host we would be gone by 7-7:30AM. When we were trying to load the next morning in the dark, the outside lights were not on and we could not find a switch. It was rather treacherous, and actually dangerous. Would not stay again due to these inconveniences and hazards.

The property is so clean and pretty. For it to be on the back of a house, it was surprisingly very peaceful and quiet. Would stay again.

Excellent stay very peaceful

This location was about 1.5 hrs away from ziplining and horseback riding. Went paddling at Ackworth beach about 10 min away. Bed was nice and firm with 3 different blankets to choose from. Every night we used the hot tub it was fabulous and watched the koi fish. I would stay here again.

This property was a true gem and the backyard was beautiful with its own mini pond with coy fish. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

This was a last minute stay due to a funeral. Owners were amazingly accommodating and the unit is quiet and peaceful. The Koi pond with waterfall was nice to sit around and remember our son.

Lovely decorated backyard. Extremely quiet, with a natural setting all around. It's easy to forget that you are in a neighborhood with all it's natural setting.

The hosts were not accommodating and took advantage. Within minutes of making the booking a VRBO site error was identified and raised to their attention but they refused to work with me and VRBO support to correct it and said I needed to pay double if I wanted to stay at their property. I wouldn’t recommend doing business with them.

Mike and Brittany were very responsive before and during my stay. I travel with cats so it is important for me to know certain details. Getting to and from the car back to the studio is beautiful but very uneven rocks and ground. Had to be careful, especially at night. There is lighting but it is dim. Inside, as well, was dimly lit. The space was good for me and my cats. Enough room to roam but not big enough for them to get lost. The bathroom is small, stone flooring is nice, glad there were a couple shelves to keep toiletries. There is a large closet! You can hear floor joists above you and you can hear background noise from the garage, but that didn’t bother me at all. I did use the hottub a couple times, putting the cover on and off was easy. I wish I could have used more of the backyard. Overall nice space.

Perfect little spot to relax. We loved the backyard & hot tub. Enjoyed watching the birds and the fish. Really impressed with how private it felt outside despite being surrounded by houses (the foliage is quite dense). We've never rented a shared space like this before, so it was a little difficult for us to relax inside, but we knew to expect that so it's not the fault of the listing at all. We did feel bad for the poor kitty that didn't want to be stuck upstairs with the vacuum.

This was our 4th stay at this property and we keep coming back due to the location, the privacy and amazing property! Clean, super cool, nicely decorated. Check in was smooth, and Oh a hot tub outside the door! The backyard is a tropical paradise! You won’t be disappointed! Hoping to use them many more times as I visit my parents in Acworth as I live out of state and need a place to call home for a few days.

Essentially the equivalent of a Quality Inn room, but in somebody’s basement. If you’re comfortable with that kind of arrangement, this is a good option for one or two nights. The hot tub is a nice bonus. Parking is limited. Entrance to room is in back of house. The path to the entrance could be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Our stay at Mike Brittan's Oasis was absolutely perfect!! We loved the peacefulness of the place, the privacy, how Mike and Brittany let us know upon our arrival if we needed anything to let them know. They never bothered us, but were always available should we need anything. It was a wonderful restful stay and should we ever return, we will be back in touch.

I am a picky person, so read this review with that in mind. Overall the space was clean and definitely tidy. There was some dried toothpaste splatter on the wall next to the sink in the bathroom, but again, I'm picky. The space was very comfortable, but I needed more lighting than was provided. I regret I didn't get to spend any time in the beautiful outdoor oasis this owner has created.

Everything went very smoothly, and we didn't need to contact the owner for anything. The backyard is glorious, and the bamboo quite impressive. The room was immaculate and just perfect for stopping for the night. The area was extremely quiet which was great because our pup usually is startled by loud noises. (we did not hear any footsteps from upstairs) We like to eat BBQ when we travel and there was a place quite close by. My only suggestion is to add a set of plastic place mats to use for eating on to help keep things clean. The box our food came in was extra messy (oops!) and we just used extra paper towels which were provided by the hosts. If I had thought ahead, I would have brought extra paper towels with me. Thank you to our hosts!

This is a great little get away! The interior space is small but set up very smart. There is no "kitchen" but equipped with microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The space is private and quiet. The owners description mentions hearing footsteps upstairs, we heard a faint few but it was no big deal at all. The owner lives upstairs and did greet me when we arrived. We never saw him again but knew he was accessible if we needed any assistance. The hot tub is right outside the sliding glass door on a deck that overlooks the very private back yard set up. My wife was absolutely charmed buy the enchanted space. Stone steps take you through the bamboo area, complete with a fountain pond with fish. Then wind your way down to the creek with your own private fire pit set up. Absolutely beautiful and very private. We did a lot of day trips around the greater Atlanta area and used this property as a base camp, launch pad. It was perfect for the two of us and I will plan to go back if we head to that area again.

Wow ! Let me first say that the pictures of that backyard are indeed beautiful, but in person ?? Oh my goodness it was breathtaking! Mike was more than accommodating and responsive with my questions . And we never saw any of the members of the home . The info and parking was clear which I loved . This was exactly what my friend and I needed! The location was perfect and our fur babies loved exploring that backyard !! And that jacuzzi was hot and readyyy like a little Caesars pizza lol . Again , just what we needed !! Thanks mike !
