From the first interaction to the last--Leah's communication was exceptional. She responded to all questions really fast! The process to book was easy, and clear directions were provided on check-in/check-out and operation of vital things in the house and surrounding property (including access to pool)! The house was equip with EVERYTHING from bug spray, games to spices. The house looked exactly how it was advertised, and was very cozy! Will definitely be back!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Nut house! Leah made our stay feel welcoming and comfortable along with a simple check in and check out process. A quiet cul-de-sac with a wooded backyard is just what we were looking for. We will definitely be staying at one of her many properties in the future. Thank you Leah!

I stayed at the Nutt House for 2 nights and 3 days. Instructions for check in were easy. The house was perfectly clean and well stocked. The host replied to any messages within minutes. The only thing I would suggest is bringing a few blankets as we didn't find any other than the comforters. Great place to stay if you're visiting Massanutten or the general Harrisonburg area.

The Nut house was as described. Comfortable bed, spacious, private, gas fire pit on deck was a plus, and great communication with owner. Perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the Shenandoah Valley.

Property was exactly as shown on site. Beds very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Very quiet cul de sac. Fire table and grill on deck was added and welcome bonus. Close to JMU, Shenandoah National park and local wineries. Great area and place to stay to get away from overpriced hotels in harrisonburg during graduation and family weekends at JMU. Would definitely stay again if in the area

We had a group of five so the accommodations were more than adequate to meet our needs. The setting was great, fairly private and quiet. The host was wonderful and the amenities offered were above our expectations. We would gladly go back again. Highly recommended.

The Nutt house was a great find. House was well equipped and beds were super comfortable. Quiet location and terrific hiking and mtn bike trails nearby. Host was super responsive to inquiries and directions were spot on. The house is also a stones throw to Shanandoah Natl Park. Overall we’d stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is well cared for and light-filled. The main living room has a wonderful view of the woods behind the home with cathedral ceilings and a wall of windows. We had a few questions, and Leah was responsive, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed exploring the area. There was a lot to do close to the house.

We had a great time at this lovely property! The location is perfect and is in close proximity to the Massanutten resort, the water park, Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns! The house is beautiful, clean, has a lovely porch with fire pit, plenty of sleeping accommodations and a kitchen that is well stocked if you chose to cook. We would highly recommend!

The Nut House really stands out to me as one of the best VRBO spots I've booked. The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. Many amenities are provided such as toilet paper, paper towels, condiments, etc. Check in was easy and the process was hassle-free. The house is well-positioned to suit any need (mountains, hiking, food) and the area is quiet and relaxing.

Great long weekend! Cabin was perfect for the 3 of us and our dog. Great location within Massanutten. Loved the walking path for the dog and exploring the wooded backyard down to the creek. Perfect setup for families with great hang out spaces in and out.

Great property! Host had excellent communication. Hiked some trails, went snow tubing and played lots of card games:)! It was perfect!

This was the perfect property for our family of 5. We wanted to go skiing and it had a great location (only 5 minutes to the ski resort.) It is also in a neighborhood, but private and serene. Very clean and easy access to get into the home. Would definitely recommend to anyone, whether it was for a couple of days or a week. The owners were very understanding and accommodating as well. We needed to change our dates and since nobody had booked the new dates we wanted, they easily changed it for us. Our family is very thankful this home was available and we hope to rent from them again.

This house was perfect for our family. The house was very clean and provided sufficient amount of cooking utencils and dishes in which we were able to cook more than a few meals during our stay. We loved the open space and huge windows which displayed a beautiful mountain forest. We also loved the huge deck with the stairs that leads down to a hammock swing which my daughter enjoyed. My husband spent the majority of his time sitting by the fire on the deck. My son loved the loft which is accessable only from a ladder which was the perfect hideaway for his gaming. The hard floors and the baby gate on the deck were perfect for keeping our two poodles. I loved the earthy and natural tones in which the cottage was decorated as well as a nice and comfortable king sized bed. The Nut House did not fail to please. We definitely want to come back!

This is our 2nd time staying at the Nutt House and it did not disappoint. Great communication and a wonderful home - convenient to all Massanutten has to offer and a well appointed house. Love the windows and deck for peaceful views. Thank you!

We brought our older girl scouts to Massanutten for the weekend and couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The open dining room and family is large enough for us all to congregate together and enjoy our time together. The host was absolutely fabulous and made the stay so much better and comforting. A few of our girls have even recommended this location for other group get togethers!

Great property- spent Xmas with the family here- close to skiing- property manager was amazing in helping with anything we needed, cozy spot for a family getaway!

Our communication from the beginning and throughout the process was superb! My family believed the online pictures and description did not convey the coziness of the home and the convenience of if its location. Very spacious with plenty and of privacy between bedrooms. Perfect for a few families who would like to travel together. We absolutely recommend this place and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
