Mario is a great host—very communicative and made sure the stay was pleasant. Arrived to a complimentary bottle of wine. Such a nice touch. House was great, very cozy. Nice location close to Hunter Mountain and not far from main street restaurants. Would visit again.

It was an easy check-in. The house was clean and setup perfectly. Anything you need to cook were in the kitchen. I think, it's the best for ski trips. We wish there were more land for our dog to have fun.

Mario’s house was perfect for our weekend ski trip at Hunter! Extremely clean, well equipped, great size and layout for families. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking, the fireplace was so cozy and heated the house very well. It was great that the house was dog friendly, they even had extra dog bowls and leashes! Mario was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay, giving restaurant and apres ski recommendations. It truly felt like we were being hosted by friends. I highly recommend Mario’s property!

Great spot located under 5 min from Hunter Mountain and bars/restaurants

The place was great for our annual ski trip with one other family. Location was ideal for Hunter Mountain, and Mario could not have been more helpful during our stay! Note that there is no washer/dryer if need to dry clothes after a wet day of skiing, but again, we loved the place and highly recommend.!

You can’t beat the location of this wonderful house if you are skiing at Hunter, just minutes from the slopes. Mario was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. The house is very cozy and feels right at home nestled against the mountain. A great place!

A charming home 1 minute from Hunter Mountain. Spotlessly clean and with a winter cabin theme. Our host decorated for Christmas which made our stay that much more fun. Bathrooms are great, and kitchen well stocked with pans/tools. Great for a family or group of friends.

Our family (two daughters ages 7 and 9) stayed in this house for a week and had a great experience. The house is very conveniently located in the village of Hunter and was equipped with everything that we needed. The host is extremely welcoming and insured that he attended to our needs as best he could. We really enjoyed our vacation and are definitely coming back!

This is an amazing rental! Mario was extremely helpful and had everything we needed ready for us (including a complimentary bottle of Prosecco). He also stopped by to see if everything was satisfactory on one occasion, but was not intrusive on our stay. Communication before and during our stay was fantastic. As for the house…this is one of the best rentals we have stayed in. The house was immaculate. The kitchen is well set up and stocked with quality appliances, pots, pans and utensils. The water pressure to sinks and showers was amazing. The fire pit was awesome. The decor in the house was welcoming and aesthetically relaxing. Beds were all very comfortable and easily accommodated myself and four adult friends. The wrap around porch was nice too. A short walk to great swimming and fishing creek with other awesome lakes, ponds and hikes only 15-20 minutes drive away. Good breakfast place (Fellows Cafe) short walk from house. This house was absolutely perfect for our fishing trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mario and family for a great stay and congratulations on Italy winning the Euro cup.

He went far above and beyond. The house was spectacular and about a 3 minute drive to Hunter Mountain. Restaurants were easily accessible by walking. The house is lovely, hugging the beautiful Hunter Mountain in the Catskills. Nice gathering home for the family, with a wrap around wooden deck safe for little ones and a nice yard space for campfires. The interior of the house is charming and user friendly. The owner is very welcoming, responsive and eager to make your stay comfortable.

This is a lovely 2 floor house in Hunter, NY, about 2 hours outside of the city. Mario was a very friendly and welcoming host. He generously let us check in and out at any time, and regularly made sure we had everything we needed. It was tidy and as pictured/described. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths (one shower, one tub), kitchen and living room. The second floor is a lofted bedroom (no door) and an ensuite bathroom with shower and 2 sinks. The bedrooms vary in size with the lofted second floor as the largest. This room doesn't have a door, so I would recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The main bedroom on the first floor has ample windows and a charming fireplace. Be sure to bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to light. The two other bedrooms are small, one with a full sized bed, the other with bunk beds. I would say it could fit one large family or a group of friends comfortably. The bathrooms look brand new, with modern finishes and a clawfoot tub in one of them. It was a nice luxury to have so many bathrooms for the size of the house. The kitchen has a large island and new appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. The oven is great--solid burners. Kitchen utensils are the basics, with pots, pans, etc. There is a toaster oven, but not other small appliances (blender, etc.). The living room and dining room are adjacent to the kitchen, and include another fireplace. The dining can fit up to 6, and worked fine for board games. The couch has a chaise, but I'd say max 3 people. There is a 42" TV with Roku. The wifi worked fine for our devices, but we could not connect the Roku to the wifi. The common space is fine for a group of 4-6, but somewhat smaller than other rentals I've used. There is air conditioning upstairs, but not in the main area, so it can get warm depending on the breeze. The outdoor space featured a very large wrap around deck, and a fire pit in the backyard. The property is very close to several other houses and the road, something to keep in mind if you have pets (the house is pet friendly). We went in the summer, so can't comment on the skiing. The house is a 10 minute drive from the grocery store. You can walk to the lake (private) and stream (public).
