We came from Austin, Chicago and New York. There were four generations staying here and we all had a wonderful time. The homes and grounds were perfect for our crew. we all enjoyed the pool, the hikes, the scenery, the play areas. the longhorns and pigs visiting us were just amazing, a true Texan experience. We visited Gruene, the caverns and zip line and fun was had by all. Berlin is the most gracious host and was a delight to deal with. We will be back!! Nancy L.

This place is fun for the walkers, fun for the kids, it was big enough, it was great! The longhorns came close to the fence and we’re not aggressive. The views amazing! Thank you Berlin!

Great views! Really nice land owner! This place has 2 houses, plenty parking and a large pool with hot tub. Also, we enjoyed the longhorns on the property. The houses have everything you need down to towels, utencils etc. I also liked having the kitchenette in the gameroom. This place took the stress of a wedding off of everyone, because it was more like an enjoyable vacation.

This was our annual family trip and we had a great time. The pool was so refreshing and plenty big for us to have a great time playing water volleyball. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of counter space and room. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. All in all it was a wonderful time to relax and spend time together. Thank you for being so attentive to all of our questions.

All was good. Just wish the queen bed had been a queen. I think it’s actually a double bed.

This property is great for large families, everything was as stated, only issues we had with property was the yard upkeep, the whole place needed to be mowed. Could not really enjoy the POINT view because the grass and weeds (stickers) were pretty bad, overall everything was good

This place was outstanding. Plenty of parking, room, hiking, animals and just plain FUN "20 Acres". We spent time on Canyon Lake and had several stay and enjoy the pool "Clean and Beautiful Pool, Hot tub was even better for later in the evening". It was so peaceful. Everything was clean and worked well. Berlin was very responsive. During our stay we only ran into our ability to correctly operate the Hot Tub "the heat". However Berlin Very Nice Manager/owner quickly responded and had Her Pool Folks get us on track immediately. Thank you so much to Dylan (the pool guy) and Thank you to Berlin for such a WONDERFUL stay.

Loved the house and the pool! Got to meet the owner and was very responsive when I had a question. Property was beautiful we also go to meet papa a little pig roaming around! House was clean, big and spacious. Best weekend ever with my family!

The location and amenities were just what our family wanted for our yearly getaway. Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, game room, animals and even sunsets at the point. It was spacious and plenty of room for our family of 11. The hosts were excellent and attentive, even coming and mopping when the regular cleaning service was not available. The only drawback is the house is showing it’s age and needs some updating and deep cleaning.

We liked the location of the property and the set-up with the main house and the bungalow. The kitchen was too small for our family. Dining area furniture was old and rickety. Trash cans and disposal were totally inadequate for 20 people. Lighting in game room was mostly inoperative. While things were clean, the building and pool were old. The pool needed constant attention. But the good news was the owners were right up the road and came down when needed. Sink drains were slow meaning they were clogged over a long period. The worst part was a portion of the ceiling over the dining table collapsed when the A/C condensation drain plugged up with ants. It leaked onto the ceiling which then collapsed. Fortunately, no one was sitting there at the time. The owners came down immediately and did a repair that got us through departure. The owner said he'd "make things right." But I don't know what that that meant. I haven't heard from him. In summary? I would not return to this property.

The home is just how it's listed. Check in & out was really easy and Peter, our host, was extremely helpful and communicative. The bungalow was great. We put the pool and BBQ grill to use one evening because we found good restaurants nearby the other 2 nights. Canyon Lake was great too!

This property was perfect for our 3 generation family reunion. We had 10 people sleeping here and had plenty of privacy for everyone. The bungalow is an added bonus! The owners live nearby and have some friendly farm animals. Our grandchildren were delighted to have goats following us on our walk to the look out. The views are beautiful from the look out. Everyone’s favorite spot was the backyard pool. The yard was perfect for our egg hunt! Many happy memories were made!

Really loved the privacy, and location of the property. Peter and Berlin were very informative and answered all my questions. Great view. The point at sunset is a must see!

Had an amazing time at Canyon Lake! the pool house and Bungalow were geat!! lots of room for all 14 of us! the host was amazing, check in was a breeze! We enjoyed the large pool and beautiful view! Would absolutely book again!

Easy Check-In Process. We did run into Propane issues but were resolved with some quick tweaking. Propane usage is monitored, however, running the tank most of the weekend barely used anything so do not be too concerned when enjoying the hot tub. Part of our family stayed in the bungalow which I HIGHLY suggest booking—the quick nature walk from the pool house is extremely relaxing and helps you appreciate the nature out on the land. This is gated land so be aware if you have any unplanned family visitors, they may run into quick issues. Overall a beautiful stay which I would suggest to any large family trying to get together after being apart for so long during COVID.
