The property is perfect for a large family gathering. Great proximity to Sydney. We had 15 adults and 13 children. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Sheets and towels were pristine and beds comfortable. So many activities for adults and kids, both indoor and outdoor. The house must have been magnificent in its day but is in need of some tlc now. Our main concern was the inadequacy of the kitchen when catering for a large number of people. Both wall ovens don’t work and have been replaced with small portable ovens which are not big enough for large baking dishes. Tho cooktop needs to be replaced with a much larger one and the bbq also needs to be much bigger. However, we had the best time and were able to relax because the house is not too precious with young kids. We enjoyed the company of the 2 llamas and the pony who freely roam around the house. The llama even paid us a visit after we arrived so best to keep the doors shut! Thank you. Would love to return one day.

This place is amazing and exceeded our expectations. We had our wedding nearby in Camden and had our close family and friends stay in this mansion with us. We have never stayed in a place so big. Yes the place is a bit run down and dated and could definitely use some maintenance and love but it honestly didn’t affect us much at all as we all loved it so much. There aren’t many holiday rental places available that can match the size and fit the amount of people in it. The road/driveway into the house could definitely do with some love as there were some big pot holes. But all in all this house was perfect for our needs and everyone was amazed with it. We also loved sharing the property with the alpacas and pony.

We stayed at the Razorback manor for the October 2023 long weekend - 23 adults & 5 children under 10 years. Positives: - 10 bedrooms were spacious to fit 28 people under one roof - Beautiful scenic country farm surrounds so peaceful & tranquil all to ourselves - Large living areas including spacious kitchen, dining room, living room, games room and more - Pool was clean & tropical with the palm trees - Lots of entertainment options including pool, spa, sauna, table tennis, karaoke, arcade games and more - Air conditioning worked well upstairs only - Close to Camden & Picton amenities Negatives: - Both ovens did not work - this was not communicated in advance. The back-up air-fryers were too small to fit standard dishes. This is a basic requirement that needs to be fixed ASAP. - Only 2 of the BBQ burners worked. We ran out of gas after only 1 breakfast cook-up. There was no additional gas to cook with. - A few of the upstairs beds had squeaky frames so guests had to move the mattress to the floor to sleep on. - The horse kept biting the alpacas & were harmful to the children. To protect themselves, the alpacas sprayed a green odour mist which landed on guests so unpleasant. Plus, concerns around the animals welfare as their big blue water bowl wasn't filled up daily so we did - Air conditioning did not function well downstairs - Basic master downstairs bedroom repairs required including squeaky bathroom door, non-working door locks & no light in walk-in wardrobe

The out look was amazing and the size of the property suited us but it would have been nice to have been given advanced notice that the ovens didn’t work and had been replaced with smaller portable ovens. This made it hard to do a family roast. Everyone enjoyed seeing the animals but they shared our space too much sometimes. Overall you can see it was a beautiful big house but it now requires a lot of maintenance

What an amazing home. Seriously, the sheer size and scope of the home and land is hard to fathom, and I don’t even think the photos do the Place justice.. it’s HUGE. So much room for fun and activities. Yes, same as other reviewers mention, it is a little dated and a few little repairs needed here and there.. But I don’t think that detracted from our experience at all. Thanks for having us!

We could not use the pool as it was not clean and had worms in it. The lawns and gardens could have been attended to and because we used the kitchen extensively the ovens in the kitchen need replacing. The property is dated but we had a great weekend. Thank you

The spot was just gorgeous, and the house spacious. However the place is in urgent need of repairs and maintenance. We understand that houses as they age can get rundown, but this wasn’t a case of it being a bit tired, in fact there were a few serious safety issues needing resolving. Given the setting, scale and potential of the house, with some investment it could be a magnificent property.

This property is incredible. It has a lot of character. We rented this property for my 30th and it was the perfect venue - so much to do and see. The place is far from immaculate in its cleanliness, but this was a huge benefit as it allowed everyone to relax and enjoy themselves; as it didnt feel like we had to walk on eggshells in a 5-star resort.

Renting was easy but communication with property owner was difficult. The property is very old and hardly maintained. Grass was too long and was cut on our second day of our arrival and not everywhere. The spa was not clean and not filled also no chlorine used to keep the hygiene. Not enough kitchen wear no sandwich press or coffee machine. Fly screens some are missing and the others are full of holes.

What a pleasant surprise to arrive at the property with a huge Christmas tree by the front door and a few other decorations for our stay the week before Christmas. Our group consisted of 7 families, 14 adults and 17 kids. The property was spacious enough for every adult and child to have a place to chill out and relax. There were plenty of facilities to keep us entertained, but we didn't even get time to use them all. The swimming pool was a hit as it was hot everyday we were there. The aircon kept the inside of the house comfortable, however the kitchen area didn't seem to cool down as much as the rest of the house. The evenings were enjoyed out the back with the wonderful views over the valley. The kids enjoyed the grass sleds and everyone chatted over the firepit gazing up at the stars. (Thanks for providing the woodfire) The place wasn't 5 stars and spotless, but we didn't mind. There were plenty of bathrooms and toilets to accommodate the 31 of us and they were generally clean. The linen and towels were provided and clean. The furniture and furnishings were well used and as expected for the age of the property. Maybe there could be a bit more table space or hanging hooks for some of the bedrooms. There were 3 small fridges which seemed to struggle with the heat in the kitchen and for our large group, but we were able to use the huge bar fridge in the TV/pool room for some of our food and drinks. There was plenty of crockery and utensils for our group, but wished there were more serving ware to dish food up or bowls and platters to use for preparing food. We had some safety concerns about the spa/sauna with little kids about, but kept an eye on the area. Overall, it was a lovely location to spend 5 days with our friends and their families. There aren't too many properties like this. The accommodation met most of our needs for a great escape at the end of the year and not too many complaints about it. As per reviews we had read before we came, this place needs a fair amount of work & a really good clean in order to be considered a premium property, but if you are laid back about that sort of thing & can overlook the dirt & wear & tear, there are some great aspects to it. Unfortunately we had a cold, wet weekend, so the pool wasn't really an option & we simply could not get the spa to heat up, plus the water (filled from a tank) smelled really bad so even had we managed to warm it, I'm not we would have braved it! But the towels & linens were all spotless, the kitchen is pretty well kitted out, the location is excellent & we had heaps of fun with the pool table, the ping pong, & the karaoke machine. It is pretty pricey for what it is but I guess given the lack of options for places close to Sydney of that size, it's a property owner's market to a degree. All in all, we had a really great time & with a bit of a spruce up, this place could be really something.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the property exceeded our expectations in many respects. The home was clean and well provisioned to accommodate a large group, just a shame that the spa could not be used and needs a service (water was dirty and smelly coming out of the pipes and the hose was leaking, leaving the flier wet and damp). The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable and BBQ facilities were great. Would definitely recommend this property for large group stays.

This house is just massive. There were 20 of us and still 3 rooms were free. It has abundant toilet and showers and there's not much u need to bring as the owner accommodates for the essentials wellLoved our stay

If you’re looking for a place that is immaculate, this is not the place for you. There are stains on the carpet, marks on the walls and the fridge makes a funny noise. However, if you are looking for an amazing space to spend time with large groups of friends/family with endless amenities to keep you entertained then you have found the perfect place! The owners were nothing but helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. We will definitely be back to visit!

The size of the house was great but disappointed both pool and spa were not working when we arrived which we found our only 2 days before we came away
