Great location. Cheap price. Use of kitchen

Was left key with note for check-in, and note had incorrect door code written on it! Luckily I had correct code in an email msg, but briefly got very worried when I couldn't get back in in the evening.

The room had good heating in very cold weather, enough space for two single beds for single use, clean private bathroom, constant hot water Nice street in the old town, and quiet.

No communication or answer to questions through booking.com in the days after booking. Usually answers within 24 hours so it says. I didn't see a single member of staff while there or where to look for one, and just left the key where I had picked it up. I didn't particularly need or want to see anyone, but in an emergency.....

It was clean, comfortable, spacious and easily accessible.

There was no hand soap, and no staff to talk to if any problem had occurred.

The conditions are very good. Nice and clean room, ideal bathroom. Good kitchen - which is a big advantge.

The arrival was a shok. The door was closed, we couldn't enter. At least one hour I was asking passers-by to help me. I didn't know the entrance code because when we entered Germany I didn't have time to get a sim card, I had no access to internet. It is outrageous way to meet gests. We came at 13.00! Not at night. And everything was locked. I wouldn't recommend your hostel because of this. If I couldn't speak German, we would have had to look for another hotel and pay twice. But luckily one man - a neighbour opened the door with his key. It was a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely nothing.

Zero customer service. Paid for a room which we didn't get. Booked for 2 nights but arrived only on the second day as my husband wasn't feeling well. Thinking the room key was going to be there when we arrived, but we were wrong. Called the manager, Mr. Knobloch and he said he would send someone over with the keys. We waited more than 30mins in the cold for someone to turn up. No one came, all we got was a message that no one was actually coming to deliver our room key. Tried to call Mr. Knobloch several times but he completely ignored our calls. We suspect he has sold off our room to someone else. So just like that, NO ROOM, NO EXPLANATION, BUT MONEY TAKEN. This coming from a so called 'Christian' establishment who advertise that they care about the well being of other people.

Location is nice - close everywhere including neighboring Polish town. WC and showers were kept clean as well as shared kitchen. Room was very spatious and beds comfortable.

There was (likely animal) hair in our sheets. Unfortunately, we arrived when there was a huge group of school kids who were pretty noisy - but that is not really a fault of accomodation. On the other hand the only info we got from owner was in German and through Booking, never saw any staff there - fortunately we live in the world of Google translator so that was not a much of a problem. Got different room then the one on picture during reservation - bit more basic but also with more beds.

Perfect location to explore Goerlitz. Hostel is very clean, rooms are basic but have everything you might need. The kitchen for guests very well equipped, comfortable and clean. I was staying in single room with my own bathroom.

Amazing place! Very clean, calm, comfortable, in a beautiful neighbourhood. Absolutely loved this place!

I spent more than 1 hour trying to check-in in at the hotel. The door was closed and no one respond to my phone calls. I was lucky to meet a Ukrainian girl who gave me another phone number to reach the property owner. I booked a single room with a separate bathroom. Another room with a shared bathroom was given to me after arrival. The manager gave me a difference in the price but it is not what I expected.

The location was good and the kitchen is useful.

There were no bed sheets even though I booked a single room with bed sheets through booking.com. Arriving later in the evening and sleeping without bed sheets was unpleasant.

you seem to have a comunications problem.1 I stated at the beginning that I was disabled and did not want too many stairs to climb,so you put me on the 2nd floor!!! 2 I emailed you and spoke on the telephone explaining that I would be a day late, so when I arrived there was no key for my room.That problem was solve easily enough, but it didn't need to have happened.3 that was the 1st time (in an hotel)there was no soap.

The accomodation is near the city center and Mr. Knobloch, with whom we spoke to, was very kind and friendly. The room was clean and good equiped.
