the property is overall good. it is easy to access and near by downtown. only one thing i don't like is the mattress which is really uncomfortable. i could not sleep and feel cold.

Excellent accomodation for a weekend away from the chaos of city living. Clean, cozy, secluded, well-maintained and well-managed. One very small and comparatively insignificant request would be to have actual olive oil in the pantry opposed to vegetable oil decanted into an olive oil bottle… such great foodie area, would be great to support local and showcase a few inexpensive items at the property.

Most amazing holiday home we have ever stayed in!
The views are absolutely stunning, with the glorious sun coming in all day through the large windows that look out on the valley and mountains.
The indoor fire place definitely makes this amazing stay even better!

Absolutely loved the property and location. Nice and quiet spot to disconnect from everything. Only a few minutes drive to the local shops which has a very nice cafe with good brekky and top notch bakery that serves awesome fresh pies

Relaxing getaway in great location, with beautiful views. Roomy and pretty fully equipped.
Minor downsides - no dryer but clothes horse worked when it was warm. The bath was nice but the spa wasn't working.

Great views, lovely ambience whilst sitting in the lounge room unwinding. Great as a solo getaway retreat or for a few days away with that someone special.

The location and property are fantastic. Highly recommended. A couple of things to note: very minimal firewood was supplied, so if you like to run the fire for atmosphere rather than the A/C you’ll need to arrange more wood. Linens were high quality but sparse. Two towels only, no spares. No rugs or blankets provided other than one on the bed. If you like to curl up on the coach or sit out on the gorgeous terrace under a rug you’ll need to bring your own. Also the town of Kangaroo Valley has very limited options for food other than the pub bistro and couple of cafes. Very hard to find anything vegetarian. Suggest you stock up with provisions and be prepared to cook for yourself rather than eat out in town.

A wonderful retreat
From the moment we drove up the tree lined driveway to The Dairy we started to relax. Such a beautiful escape with an amazing view. Loved watching the cows! The Dairy is perfect for a couple. Very clean & comfortable. A well equipped kitchen & wonderful fireplace that kept the cottage warm all night. Highly recommend a visit.

Stunning building, scenery and location.
Beautiful private setting with an incredible view down the valley. The updated barn is stylishly renovated and is perfectly set for a weekend get away.

Mostly idyllic: one thing I wish I’d known
This property is delightful - well presented and beautifully laid out. If you get a clear night, the stars are magical (pro tip: take some blankets to rug up outside - glass of wine and stars - perfect!). The bathroom is amazing, the balcony- living area space is fabulous and the outlook is incredible!
The one thing I wish I’d known is that the property has a lot of heavy machinery etc on site, which appeared to me to be permanent. Mostly, you don’t see or hear this (the property is designed really well) but twice in the four nights I was there a truck (I think) would be left idling for half an hour or longer, and really set my teeth on edge. For context, that’s an hour or so out of four nights, in what was otherwise a divine break.
I’d go back!

Amazing views.
The Dairy is a comfortable and unique place for a couple to experience a wonderful getaway with breathtaking views and all the comforts. Apart from the tv not working we have no issues and would highly recommend it.

Lovely quiet property
Well appointed, clean, quiet and was warm in winter when we stayed. Only one piece of important feedback - we decided on spur of moment on our last night there to stay another night if the property was available. Check out time was strictly 11am. We were unable to use Stayz website to check availability (possibly too close, or minimum 2 days booking??). We emailed and called Stayz and the property manager. No one replied. Their offices open at 11am and obviously no-one monitors guest communications from 9am. So sadly we packed and left by 11am. The owner could have received another easy day's income. I'm guessing this happens a lot - guests decide at last minute to stay another day or so, so the current system is flawed.

Amazing
The house is cosy and comfortable with amazing views. It was a cold rainy day when we arrived and the wood fire was already ablaze which was a lovely touch. This is a perfect place for a romantic getaway

Relaxing Retreat
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing retreat in the country for a few nights and we got that and so much more. The whole process from booking to arriving was so easy and we were so relaxed amongst the beautiful backdrop of the hills and kangaroos we were so sad to leave. The Dairy had everything we were looking for and more. We loved waking up each morning and looking out at the kangaroos and we loved relaxing at night by the fire place after cooking a yummy meal in the beautiful kitchen. We cannot wait to come back and stay at the Dairy again, it's the perfect relaxing retreat!

Beautiful private cottage with the best views
The Dairy was a perfect escape in Kangaroo Valley. It was private, extremely clean and warm on a rainy weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, lovely fire with plenty of wood and the best far-reaching views over the valley. Great communication and easy check-in. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spectacular
From the drive out through the country, all the way to the day we left, this delightful country cottage delivered in every way. The fireplace is beautiful, the bed a treat and the faint nosies of the cows mooing is just what every weekend should be like. The view out over the ranges was outstanding and the vicinity to town was just perfect. We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back!
