Really love working with 30A Luxury Vacations once again. They go above and beyond. They are very responsive to any issues and stay in touch with you through the process via text, which is very convenient. We had a couple of things that needed attention and they took care of them all in no time. Checkin and Check out is a breeze and the house was ready to go early this time too. Wonderful company to work with.

This was our second year staying at Harper Cottage, this year we stayed longer. Overall the house fits our family really well, I would suggest they have the house better equipped...if we were to stay a week again I think we may look at other options. We have stayed at several rentals on family vacations and this one is one that has the fewest what I would call basics. I would suggest more paper towels, at the very least a spray cleaner for the counters...there are zero cleaning products...beach toys and towels, loungers by pool, matches or a lighter for birthday candles, more glasses and serving dishes. The flickering lights without enough window coverings kept two people in our group awake and when traveling with small children you need window treatments that keep the rooms darker early in the morning. We did more cooking this year and we were constantly doing dishes just to keep up. It's a small thing but the hair dryer in my room is falling apart and got really hot....I mean at least put decent hair dryers in the rooms. We wanted to keep up with keeping everything really clean but I don't think as guests we should have to buy cleaning supplies...have never needed to do so anywhere and as I mentioned we have stayed at many rentals over the last several years. Most places have a personal note, nice bottle of wine and some other local treats...not a big deal to me but a nice touch. The bikes had issues with the tires and the wagon is falling apart too. I guess as I write this as much as we love the space and location we will look at other options next visit. I don't think it would take that much to have this be a place a family like ours would come back to every year!

Two families of 3 really enjoyed their stay at this house. The house was clean and exactly matched the pictures. While it is a ~10-minute walk to the beach, it's right next to the shops/restaurants which was really nice.

When we arrived at the house, we noticed that the air conditioning was broken, so that the heater would not turn off. It was 81 degrees in the house and rising. We promptly called the property manger and she said they would send maintenance to check the a/c. After about 30 minutes and a temperature of 83 degrees (and rising) we called again and were informed she couldn’t give us an eta or do anything more to help us. We ended up discussing with her (and calling every 10 minutes) until we wrangled the A/C company name and then called them ourselves to expedite the issue. Turns out no one had even called the A/C company, just put in an online order, which they hadn’t seen. At this point our chef arrived (we had a private chef planned) and started to cook. It took about another 30-45 minutes to fix the A/C. This greatly diminished the experience that we booked and kind of ruined our night as the temperature wasn’t comfortable until well into our dinner. We were told that some sort of compensation could be arranged but when contacted after the weekend no one responded to our request. Other than the A/C, one of the showers didn’t work and had to be fixed during our visit. There also weren’t enough wine glasses for the 8 of us (the house sleeps 12) nor did they have matching silverware for the chef.

Truly a perfect house for my bachelorette party. The property was clean, beds were comfortable and it looked exactly like the listing. The neighborhood could not be more perfect. We weren’t at the house much but when we were it was very enjoyable and talking with management was quick and efficient. Only suggestions would be to add a few extra blankets for sleeping and spices for use in the kitchen. Overall would highly recommend to anyone considering this property!

The stay was amazing, perfect location and room for everyone in my wedding party. We got married at the pearl and this VBRO made the whole time perfect. The place was large enough to sleep everyone and was in perfect condition when we arrive. We come back every year and would recommend this VBRO to everyone

This place was absolutely perfect for our family. We had an issue figuring out how to get in and then we didn’t quite understand the pool alarm, but they were extremely responsive and we figured out the pool alarm quickly. With a toddler, we were grateful for it.
We loved the proximity to everything. We also had a great community pool right next to us as well.
Overall, I would highly recommend!

The house was spacious and extremely comfortable for our family of 12. Loved the pool and easy access to playground and splash pool. Our only complaint was the meager kitchen supplies. There was one small serrated knife, other than steak knives.

Our stay at Harper's Cottage was great! Photos are accurate. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk everywhere, yet on a quiet street. Our only complaints were that the kitchen is lacking some bar essentials (shaker, jigger, etc) but we made due with what we could find, and there are no chaise lounge chairs by the pool; it's not easy to sun by the pool in a club chair. I would recommend this home, but would definitely encourage the owners to add some lounge chairs to the pool area.

We had 4 & 2 yr olds with us, property is nicely layed out for kids. Construction, design all top quality. Bedding was sparse, no extra anything. Kitchen was poorly equiped, all cookware was old, dirty, glasses were dirty, Rug was filthy. Front door didn't latch to lock, asked for repair, never came. Overall still a good experience, just needs stronger maintenance plan. Signed, a 3-yr experienced Airbnb host of multiple properties.

Great place for families
This is a lovely modern-mediterranean style home which was perfect for kids and adults alike. We loved the large open living/dining /kitchen area which was perfect for socializing. The small pool was a nice perk if you just wanted to cool off or relax and not deal with busier pools. We loved the swings as well. The family pool was a few steps away which was so nice and convenient. The bathrooms were nicely designed and clean. Lots of storage space. Both the main home and carriage house had laundry rooms with very nice appliances. The kids room with bunkbeds was a hit with our 9 year-old. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. We had a loose door when we arrived and management was quick to respond and within the hour it was repaired. Very impressed.

Nice Place
This is a very nice house. Clean and beautiful. Pool was a nice thing to have. Very bright and cheery home. Wonderful master bathroom/shower. Nice to have one covered garage to use. There were some minor issues though. The WiFi was too slow to be usable which created some problems doing some remote work. The garbage disposal didn’t work. The Keurig coffee maker on the kitchen counter doesn’t work but there was a regular coffee maker available. The deadbolt on the front door doesn’t work. Again, all minor issues except for the WiFi perhaps. Overall nice place and I would stay here again.

Beautiful home in great location.
This house was as pretty as it looked in photos. Well located, safe, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. It was also well supplied with paper towels / dish soap / trash bags (I’ve experienced otherwise so this was very appreciated.)
The very late check in and very early check out were hard on us and the only thing we did not like. I will say however that the place was spotless so whatever cleaning was done during those extra two hours - was clearly done well.

Very Very Clean, Neat and simple Decor, Kitchen was very organized and not over packed with multiple sets of dishes, etc., beds were very comfortable, carriage house was perfect for our teenager, the new swings installed at the pool were heaven, and the location was perfectly quiet but we walked/biked everywhere. One important feature for covid concerns was the outside grill was top notch and used often. We actually are buying one for our home as we loved it so much. MOST IMPORTANTLY IN THE REVIEW - we smelled gas one day and the Service immediately sent over someone to fix. The Rental Company was and absolute joy to work with so Thank You!!

Home was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Right next to the cabana pool & playground which the kids loved. We used both main cottage and carriage house. Plenty of space for both families to enjoy. Any extra needs were met immediately and we had no issues during our stay. The Bruner cottage is a quick bike ride to the beach and a few mins walk. The kids went back and forth easily. Our first time staying on the north side and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet & convenient it was. Our favorite cottage stay so far.
