What a great house and so spacious!
Lots of room and beautiful grounds Martha the owner cannot do enough for you ! The location at governors harbour is excellent!! Totally recommend this little piece of heaven to stay in !!

We loved this house with an incredible view of the harbor! Being centrally located on the island, we were able to explore a lot of the island. And the house was well supplied with kitchen items and linens! We would definitely there again if the opportunity arose!

Folly house is full of character and charm and in a perfect place to explore Eleuthera! It is very nice to walk into delightful Governor’s Harbour and close to so many beautiful beaches! The owner and property manager were very helpful in planning our trip and while there. We are so grateful for the special memories we will cherish of this amazing place!

Our stay at Folly and trip to Eleuthera was beyond perfect. Folly is your quintessential Bahamian home. The location is fabulous. It’s within walking distance to the store, a couple of shops and restaurants. We also were able to walk to the Fish Fry, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and Leo, the caretaker of Folly, went above and beyond. He even cut down and crack open some coconuts for us. It was truly a dream vacation.

Folly is a beautiful historic home centrally located in Governor's Harbor within walking distance of several restaurants, a grocery store, gas station and a short walk across the street to swim in the harbor.
The house was just as pictured and very clean. It was built over 100 yrs ago! Martha was very quick to respond to every request.
I highly recommend for location - we had 4 adults and 2 kids. Wifi was awesome!

Loved our stay at this historic character home.. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Kitchen was well equipped. Chef in our group loved it. Owner was very helpful.

Excellent house for a large group, well appointed with everything you need including paper products, spices and linens. The sunsets from the front porch were spectacular! And one of the best things about the house was the owner, Martha, who couldn’t be more accommodating!

This is the place to go gor pure relaxation. He water and air temp were perfect. No teal bug problems either. Folly would be ven better with a large family. We were only two bug loved it anyway. Bahams are nderstandably expdnsive so prepare.

We can’t wait to be back for more porch sunsets. It is a literal aquarium in front of the house - this visit we spotted eagle rays, shark, grouper, dolphins and more!

Recently stayed at Folly for two weeks. We were pleased to get the house because it was a last minute booking and they are pet friendly. The location is ideal being in the center of "town" and in close vicinity to restaurants and quick drive to the beaches. The house is an older Victorian house that although charming, is in need of renovating.

The Folly house is in a great spot in Governors Harbor. We had amazing sunsets from the front porch. The house was built in 1850 and was supper cool. Everything was in good shape except one of the ceiling fans and an AC unit. The staff was all over it and fixed the problem. The location is really handy to a food and beverage stores. Best of luck to all people that choose this great property.
