This home was perfect for our annual weekend away on Whidbey with 3 generations. We'll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at this home on Whidbey. The first two nights were a little rough though with overnight paving work going on next door at the ferry port. But inside the house, it was pleasant and relaxing with a well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The weather was hot for our week’s stay so we were very grateful for the AC. We didn’t partake of the hot tub which would be nice in the cooler months, but we made good use of the kayaks and fire pit. All in all, despite the heat and construction next door, we would stay again.

Couldn’t have found a better hidden gem on the sound than this property for my extended family to relax after my sister graduated from UW! Separate included studio apartment was perfect for the parents to retire to when us kids wanted to watch movies late, and the huge yard going right up to the beach was perfect for games and a fire pit late into the night. Very close to the ferry dock which means amazing accessibility to local shops and food, but no noise whatsoever from the ships or cars. Our host was never more than a text message away whenever we had a question. Thanks again!

We live in Edmonds and had some family coming into town so thought it would be fun to rent somewhere on the beach nearby for a few nights. 8 adults and 1 toddler. This house was more stocked than most if not all other vacation rentals we have stayed at and location was very convenient being so close to ferry! We ordered takeout at a Chinese restaurant super close (very tasty too) the first night and bbqed the other nights while taking dips in the hot tub and would end the evenings making a bonfire on the beach making s’mores. This property is great for guests with pets too! They even have dog bowls. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer.

What an amazing house close to Clinton, Langley and a short drive to Coupeville. This house was so clean, well equipped for family and friends and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Extra bonuses were the hot tub, Kirsten the amazing host who had donuts delivered to us, and the outdoor spaces for our pups. We can’t wait to come back during warm weather to enjoy kayaking and additional time outdoors. Thanks for the great New Year memories!

The house was wonderful! Clean and well cared for. Everything you need in the kitchen. Fabulous place for kids. Fenced in yards plus your own private beach!!! Hot tub was wonderful and a popular spot!! We’d love to come again!!!

I stayed for a long weekend with my husband, his parents and our 10 month old baby. There was plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The front yard (s) and fire pits were amazing, as were the plentiful toys, balls and games (indoor and outdoor). We spent most of our time sitting on the deck staring at the water, with a fire to warm our toes at night. We also took the kayaks out a few times and it was great. And when we were packing up on Sunday, a neighbor started shouting "whale"...we ran to the water (bewildered baby at the hip!) and lo and behold, there was a whale surfacing RIGHT in front of the house! We also saw one on our first day there, just up the road. Amazing weekend and loved the house - hopefully we can go back someday.

We loved staying here. Very convenient to the ferry, shops, grocery. Loved the outside area on the beach. Had s’mores and a wonderful place to make memories.

House was as described, although space was a bit limited for 6 adults, 3 children, a baby and a dog. Outdoor yards, decks and views were incomparable. House was well stocked. Host was friendly and responsive.

This property was perfect for our 9 extended family members to share! The house had everything we needed, is nicely updated, and has the right amount of space and privacy inside and great outdoor spaces, including a great beach and spacious yard! Communication with attentive and friendly owners was easy. The fact that it’s next to the ferry terminal worried me ahead of time because I expected some inconvenient traffic and noise, but, aside from an occasional loud motorcycle or truck, it wasn’t bad at all. Would highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for our “Island Girls” reunion! Having grown up on the island we had a great time visiting our old haunts and seeing old friends. It was SO fun to be the first guests to break in your the new “Whidbeyopoly” game (the Cozy Corner Tavern has a lot of history for us and was a coveted property!) - Great times and Kirsten was a very helpful host when a few minor issues with a key lock. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful house located right by the ferry terminal and beach. We look forward to returning sometime next year!

This home is very clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, many fun outdoor and indoor toys, plenty of towels, blankets and outdoor furniture. The location is very convenient to the ferry. It was fun watching it come and go. We appreciated how dog friendly the home was. The beach is wonderful! Also the neighbors were very friendly, even helping us out when one of our cars had a dead battery. I highly recommend this home.

Overall, we had an excellent stay and I would recommend this place very highly. It was very expensive, however when we booked, it was the only suitable option on the islands, and ultimately given the space and location, I thought it was worth the price. Pros: - Large and flexible space. The entirely separate one bedroom apartment (with bathroom, kitchenette and lovely deck) worked really well for our family. - The private back deck and hot tub are awesome and shady - There is a very nice gas grill - The fire pit / beach area is awesome as well and allows you to really feel like you're at the beach. While we couldn't have fires due to the burn ban, it's a sweet spot when that's an option. - We found the place to be very well cleaned - Great amenities for kids with beach toys, balls, croquet, games, books, etc. - We didn't have a dog, but the place seems well set up for that - The host was very communicative and everything was easy and clear. Cons: - This is the closest property to the Clinton Ferry dock. We thought it was fun to watch the ferries come and go, but there is definitely quite a bit of noise when the ferry unloads (lots of motorcycles and big diesels flooring it up the hill behind the house) - The loft area (the likely kid zone) has only a curtain, which was fine in terms of privacy for us, but it gets light up there super early with big east-facing windows. It is also accessed by a spiral staircase which our kids thought was awesome, but might be a consideration for those with young children. - The apartment also has a large round east-facing window with no shade so it gets light very early. - I say this about all rentals, since apparently I'm a snob about these things, but some better kitchen knives (they don't have to be fancy) and a burr grinder for coffee would be a great improvement.

Great place for our multi-generational family of six to gather and enjoy island life. Lots of room inside and out! We appreciated the comfortable beds, large dining table, well stocked kitchen, outdoor sitting areas galore (we could always find sun or shade), outdoor games and equipment (hot tub, BBQ, kayaks, volleyball net, croquet, etc!). We enjoyed the bird, boat and bunny watching. The owners were incredibly responsive, and even sent us a surprise treat delivery because my husband dealt with a minor repair issue (he just can’t not fix things!). We would stay here again in a heart beat. ❤️

Great house on the water, close to ferry and Langley. The owners were great hosts, the home was beautifully decorated , very comfortable, dog friendly with plenty of outdoor space . There is a gas fire pit on the deck, a wood fire pit by the water and a large table on the back deck to have dinner. It also has a hot tub, volleyball net and kayaks. We liked it so much that we will consider going back for another family vacation.

My family and I stayed a week and it was awesome. The house is set up great for everyone to have their own space but still plenty of room to hang together. My sons loved kayaking and crabbing and caught enough for a meal for everyone. Everyone loved the hot tub. A short drive up to Deception Pass rewarded us with seeing an Orca pod at the beach. It is nice to visit this area and get away from all the city bussle but still be able to go see it. Kirsten and Kristi have everything we needed at the house and were great to work with. They checked in to see if we needed anything but didn't bother us at all. This place is awesome and since we came out from Kansas it was the perfect place to stay to be able to experience the area hands on

The pictures do not do this property justice! To begin with, my husband and I arrived earlier than our adult children to decorate for the holidays. We were pleasantly surprised when we turned down the private road and saw the property - beautiful. When we opened the door we were greeted with a welcome basket that was filled with ingredients for s'mores and a bottle of wine! The view is spectacular - a result of the windows (see photos) and the cathedral ceilings. This home had everything we needed and more. Although there were 7 of us and a child, we never felt crowded. Oh did I mention we had 2 small dogs!The fur babies were accommodated by their own food bowls, a basket with doggie bags, and extra leashes! Who does that?! In all our rentals over the years we have NEVER had anyone leave items for our pets.Kirsten and Kristi purchased extra firewood so we could use the firepit (we thought we'd have to do that). We used the firepit twice, roasted hot dogs, had took advantage of the s'mores. We didn't have to worry about cars as the road was private so we were able to take our dogs off leash and let them run the yard and the beach. The loft was marvelous and surprise! there were all sorts of board games for adults as well as children. Then Kirsten announced that a hot tub was being installed on the deck while we were there - BONUS! We all agreed that even tho the property was amazing the icing on the cake was Kristen & Kristi. Within an hour of our being at the property, we received a txt message asking if everything was to our liking, did we need anything, and then Kristen sent us suggestions for places to eat, and areas to visit. As the hot tub was being installed we met Kristi who was a truly lovely person and again asked if we needed anything.The communication with both of them was amazing! By the time we all left, we felt as if they were old friends. All of my family travels internationally for work, and have been using 2 of the major home rentals sites - we have NEVER had a better experience than the one we had with Kirsten and Kristi!If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to answer them.We now call their property our "second home" and intend to stay there every chance we get!

We just wrapped up a wonderful stay at this amazing home. The kids were enamored with the hot tub, sea glass walls on the beach, and the campfire pit. The house was perfectly clean and well equipped, and the owners were super responsive with any inquiry. We loved it- definitely going down as one of our top Spring Break trips! Thank you!

Location! Location! Location! It is the perfect getaway - I highly recommend you enjoy it first hand! The communication from the hosts was easy and flawless. The house has EVERYTHING you need to relax and play ... trust me you won't want to leave! I cannot wait to book another stay in this wonderful Whidbey Wonder!

It was amazing! We had a wonderful welcome wine and s’more basket! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the view spectacular and every thing we needed was just right there. We can’t say enough about how wonderful our hosts were.We are planning on going back, just not exactly sure when that will be. Loved our time there! Thank you so much!!!

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew that they had spared no expense to take care of every detail! It was clean, styled to perfection and had stunning views of the sound and the ferry's coming in and out. We felt right at home in the kitchen and even used their massive Weber grill to craft a delicious dinner that we ate at their outdoor dining area under the stars and lit by magical outdoor lighting. A stone's throw from the beach; we took walks, kayaked and watched in awe as blue herons and eagles flew right by. My favorite part of the vacation was waking up in the cottage above the garage and sitting outside on the balcony - drinking coffee as the sun rose over the water. Pure heaven in every way! I absolutely recommend this rental and have already booked more time! Thank you! Kirsten and Kristi - you were the best hosts!

Kids and adults were delighted.We stayed for just over a week and enjoyed the beach everyday and the food at Nosh and the shopping at Madrona. Food Mart is close by for staples. There is a Red Apple grocery store, Pickles Deli (great sandwiches), fresh bagels at the Bagel Factory, and a cute ice cream shop—Sprinklz; all less than a five minute drive away at Ken’s Korner. We cooked most of our meals —easy to do as the kitchen is very well stocked. We also did quite a bit of baking:).We had a hiccup in our stay with the septic system but it was quickly and kindly resolved. Kristi was absolutely wonderful to work with! Highly recommend both the home and the attentive owners to those who are looking for a fun getaway. Conveniences are close by and the house is comfortable and clean. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the variety of outdoor activities, games (& LEGOS!). Yes! Bonfires almost every night! This place has it all! <3

Everything about our stay was first class. The property is exactly as described and the owner’s communication was outstanding. We took full advantage of all the outdoor activities provided and spent a ton of time on the beach and enjoying the wonderful views. You can’t go wrong renting this property!
