Property is just as described and well maintained. The owner was easy to communicate with and corrected any problems. The dock was spacious and easy to turn around in and the outdoor hose was great for washing fishing equipment and the boat.

TV is smart so you need some streaming subscriptions to use it. And neighbor to the north has two big barking German Shepards. Worse is that they often play very loud country music. We couldn't use the north deck much for the loud music. Even inside we could feel the thumping bass. We thought about asking them to turn it down but this sign is on their fence. NO TRESPASSING ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN TO ME IN ENGLISH? OR DO I HAVE TO SPEAK TO YOU IN 12 GAUGE? If you don't mind music and barking, and it's not all the time, this is a great and comfortable house. Very clean

The home has been recently remolded. It is nicely laid out and clean. The kitchen and living room is open concept so family members can prepare meals and still be a part of the conversation with others in the living room. There are also two separate balconies. The balcony facing west has great views for watching birds and sunsets. The balcony on the east side faces the canal which during our stay we spotted about six Manatee swimming about. It was wonderful to keep the boat docked just matter of feet from the house. The channel leading to the open water is short. A large portion of the open water is protected by islands and neighboring keys with areas to explore. We found one small island with a sandy beach with a large shallow area to anchor the boat. You can walk in waist deep water to the island. This is popular spot among the locals. Big Pine Key is predominantly a residential community and much more quiet than the other popular tourist destinations which we found refreshing. Still Key West is only 45 minutes away. We made three enjoyable day trips to Key West during our month stay. We found our stay here most enjoyable. The home is beautiful and the location is wonderful.
