The Sawyer Cottage was exactly what my friends and I needed before our jobs and lives get crazy over the summer. Gorgeous home tucked away in rural Southern MI. 2 minute drive to the Warren Dunes. The house is gorgeous. We had a great time around the fire pit, swimming in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was perfect for making most of our meals, and the surrounding towns have great spots for when we wanted to go out. Cathy was an amazing host and super communicative. Thank you Cathy!!

Adorable house on beautiful property. The house is so tastefully decorated with extras like toothbrushes, bug spray and sunscreen. Cathy also left a sweet note and a bottle of Rose for my friends and I- it was so appreciated! We loved the hot tub. The only part we missed was the pool due to timing of it being opened, but I appreciated that Cathy tried her best to get that moved up for us! Sawyer is close to other Harbor County amenities and was a very cute little town with a great private beach. Cathy was a great communicator and I’d definitely stay again!

All the girls loved this house. I had a great time cooking for them with a well equipped kitchen. The beds we comfy. The decor was so cute. The hot tub was a hot little upset we didn’t get to use the pool (it’s not open yet). But we will def be coming back.

The house was immaculately, cozy and comfortable. Our visit timing just missed the fall colors. The host was able and kind to accommodate my date switch due to unforeseen circumstances. My guests LOVED the hot tub and plenty of places to visit nearby or meander through the grounds and take in all the wildlife.

We had a lovely stay for our girls weekend. Property was extremely clean, host was kind, check in and out was very simple. Decor was adorable too! We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again.

This home and Cathy (host) were amazing! I stayed here with some friends for a weekend and it was perfect. The home is adorable, spotless, and has the best amenities. It is also only about 15 minutes to downtown New Buffalo, so it was easy for us to go there for bars and restaurants. Cathy was amazing to work with! I definitely plan on coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

Was disappointed upon arrival and realizing how close the home is to the highway. But, once inside it was no longer an issue. We never noticed the sound again. Didn’t even bother us when in the yard utilizing the pool and deck. Plenty of play items in the yard and the home - enough to keep all 4 adults and 3 teenagers happy during our stay, including two very rainy days. Loved Weco Beach and driving into St. Joseph for a day of shopping. The unexpected were the wild turkeys and deer in the neighborhood that we saw on a daily basis. The home is tastefully decorated and very clean. We had an issue that the homeowner personally drove here from his home to address the problem. Perfect hosts!

Quiet, wooded neighbourhood. Cottage has excellent facilities including pool and hot tub. Cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, with tasteful decor. Warren Dunes state park with beautiful beaches 5 minutes away. We didn't want to leave!

It was our first time renting a house and it was an amazing experience! We loved the house! It was a beautiful cottage that all my family felt comfortable and enjoyed! We loved the pool, the hot tub, and being 3 minutes away from the beach! We will love to come back to this beautiful cottage!

The owners have done a great job maximizing this property. The location was terrific for us. The pool was one feature that stole the show- couldn’t get the grandkids out of it. Cathy very responsive to questions. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Great house in quiet neighborhood close to all that Southwest Michigan has to offer. Beautifully decorated house, very clean, and full of amenities! Highly recommend this house for a family or group of friends!!

Modern cottage with lots of space. The heated pool and hot tub were great. Nice wooded area with lots of wildlife nearby. Very close to Warren Dunes State Park and a number of places to eat. Host was very responsive to requests and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay.

This was our second time to spend a week in MI at this property. We had a great time enjoying the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Great location to Warren Dunes State Park and short drive to either New Buffalo or St. Joseph. The host, Cathy, is very responsive and spoiled us with bubbles and water floats for the kids and local drinks for the adults.

We really enjoyed the area. Great restaurants, close to the beach, and independent shops. The house was clean and perfect for our family. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit!

The house had everything we needed ...grandma, 2 moms and 5 kids (3-9). Very clean and modern. Close to 3 very nice beaches and the pool was a hit after the beach. Nice bakery and coffee shops close by. Close to bigger towns of New Buffalo and St. Joseph. Great for a shirt or longer stay.

Sawyer Cottage had everything we needed to make our trip perfect. 2 families. (4 adults and 5 children). I loved all the modern touches. The kitchen was beautiful. My husband and boys loved the deer and turkeys that made appearances a couple times each day. The kiddos all loved the pool and hot tub. The swing and tether ball in the front yard was a favorite as well. We took advantage of the fire pit one evening and had s’mores. What more could you ask for? Sawyer Cottage had everything our families love. Cathy was very responsive and wonderful to work with. We would definitely book this sweet little place again if we travel to Sawyer again. There were so many perks to the location. Right between New Buffalo and St. Joseph. Wonderful restaurants and shopping. Hiking. Sunsets at Warren Dunes will be one of my favorite memories. Wonderful trip!!!

We stayed here during a Thanksgiving trip to see relatives. Cute home. We left an item behind and the host made it very easy to retrieve. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the house! Clean, cozy and private home. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds and all the needed amenities. We now plan to do this as a yearly girls trip and will definitely use this home again! Only thing we would have liked was a later checkout time, 11:00 instead of 10:00. Thank you!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Sawyer Cottage. Deer and turkeys (and many other birds) in the yard each day. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. Super quick drive to the beach.

Sawyer Cottage is so cute! This property is the perfect place to stay for a wine weekend! Backyard/patio has fire pit, hot tub, pool and outdoor seating that will keep you everyone entertained! Lots of opportunities to see wildlife like deer and turkeys roaming around too!! Loved it!

This property was even better than advertised! Such a beautiful property with mature trees that provided great privacy and created a getaway feelings in the woods. Our nature friends (turkeys, squirrels, deer) would visit us and made us feel like we were part of a Disney movie 😊 The heated pool and hot tub were very well maintained and appreciated during the chilly mornings or evenings! The house itself was gorgeous. The owners have great taste! All of the decor, the linens, kitchen cookware and dinnerware were top notch. I really loved the small details the owners provided, such as the multi-use outlets on each night stand (the kind that you can plug in a normal plug or USB) or the beach chairs that were available to use. Great touch! The first two days of our trip were pretty rainy, but we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub between storms and utilize the board games and smart TVs that the house had. The owners/host were great and very responsive to any questions we had. I loved they were willing to communicate through text! Finally you can't beat the location! Warren Dunes State Park was so close and such a great park! We also visited Weko Beach just up the road in Bridgman. We had a great getaway after a very busy summer. Peaceful and relaxing!

Really had a lovely stay at the house with our 5-year-old. Everything was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. Host was attentive and checked in to make sure all was well, and very responsive. We took advantage of pretty much everything the house had to offer—pool, hot tub, fire pit, grill, and front yard with swings. Very comfortable accommodations all around—we had a great stay. We had a great stay at this property. The yard was very big with a tether ball game in the front yard, big fire pit out back. Our 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids) enjoyed the heated pool as well as the hot tub. The house was just as described with all of the amenities. Great location on a quiet street and literally right across the street from the Warren Dunes. Lots of good local breweries in the area. The owners were very responsive to some minor questions we had. Aaron came out to fix an issue with the pool and was very nice to chat with. I would highly recommend this property.

We have been traveling to this area of Michigan for many years, staying in our fair share of rental properties. This year’s choice - Sawyer Cottage - did not disappoint. The outdoor space is so well done and the cottage has so many charming touches throughout. We lacked for nothing except more time to enjoy it. The owners are proactive and communicate well, but only as needed. It’s clear that they want vacationers to enjoy the environment they have created.

Great location and property. We had a great week at this property swimming and enjoying the local attractions (blueberry picking, Warren Dunes State Park, Schuler Dairy Farm, and Silver Beach & children’s discovery center in St. Joseph). The property owners are very responsive and have thought of every detail (for example: bubbles and sparklers as welcome gifts for the kids).

This was our first stay at this cute cute cottage home. We will stay again. Everything is available to make the stay perfect. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was just my husband and I but there were other big bedrooms that could accommodate a larger family staying here. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach and downtown area. We had a great and relaxing time staying at this home. Our hosts were so nice and made sure we were happy with everything when we checked in. I highly recommend this home in the Sawyer area.

The pool was great, very close to the beach, and lots of outdoor space to run and have a bonfire. Owners are very nice and very responsive.

The house was so cute and very well done! The hot tub was perfect for the weather and we enjoyed the surprise karaoke machine! Cathy gave us a very thorough list of places to go and we visited many of them. It was a very fun girls trip!!

Comfy beds and great shower pressure.

This was a perfect stay for our family of four! Fire pit, hot tub, giant heated pool, bunk beds, great location close to beaches, Warren Dunes, and tons of great dining options. The only bad part was leaving.
