Location was perfect for our needs. Lifelong friends have a house just down the road that we have been visiting them at since 1997. We were there for a Celebration of Life. The house is just a little dated and landscaping a bit overgrown.

the decor and conditions made my wife think we were in horror movie and we left at dawn after the first night. fortunately they refunded us.

Screen door is doesn't work We could not find a First aide kit

The house was nice. The microwave did not work and the hot water heater was not able to provide enough hot water for showers of ten people. Sundog staff brought us a replacement microwave. Sundog also was very responsive to our needs. We enjoyed the house and the lake neighborhood.

House was perfect. Very cozy and great views. Our family loved our weekend stay would definitely stay here again.

I was a bit skeptical when I read the review about the house being dated. However, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted about the condition and cleanliness of the house. Instead of dated, I would say the house is retro classic, like a movie set straight out if That 70's show. We enjoyed our stay there thoroughly and would recommend it to our friends.

The home was very clean. However, the hot water supply line was turned off and it took us some time to locate the issue. Other than that we loved the big stone fireplace and deck.

Hummingbird Haven was pretty retro-decorated and they could use nicer bedding. They need to upgrade, but it was very clean and acceptable for laying our heads. Don't be bringing a large SUV into the driveway! :-/ Very thin!

House was large and clean If I owned it I would update furnishings flooring and kitchen Important for manager. Coffee pot is not working. There are numerous bats in ceiling of carport which leave way too much droppings on your car. And the ground of car port is has two places covered with bat droppings That being said It is a very nice stay considering the low rent

This house suited our needs almost perfectly. It’s certainly not modern: but it is clean, affordable, convenient, and comfortable. Located on the east side of Lake Glenville this house has easy access to Highway 107 in the town of Cashiers. It’s also only about one minute away from a Great local restaurant Happ’s Bar and Grill; and about five minutes or less to Signal Ridge Marina. It has a nice, usable deck, half of which is undercover; with a limited view of Lake Glenville. It would probably be advisable for the owners to replace the charcoal grill with a gas grill.

Great rustic spot. Easier than anticipated to access lake with canoes paddle boards. Could use AC on hot days. Well managed check in check out

So we had a really great time at hummingbird haven and the hummingbirds really were so cute! The house was really cozy and immediately made you feel right at home! There were TVs but with so many outdoor activities that was close you definitely dont want to stay inside. Also one thing that you'll want to know that even though there was no air in the home be8its close to the lake it was always pretty cool and their were plenty of fans in case you needed them but the downstairs was definitely already pretty cool! The company is definitely helpful if you need any help and very nice! The neighbors were actually really really nice and gave us lots of ideas and places to go and visit while we were there! I definitely recommend and make sure you follow the directions to get there your gonna need it and its SO worth it! Had a great time! 10/10!! Management Response: Thank you for your feedback! We had a great time. The only issues were numerous burned out lightbulbs and one of the sliding screen doors has broken rollers. Neither was of any consequence and we had a great stay.

I booked for a 2 family gathering w/ pets. No-one wanted to come w/ out AC and I forgot to cancel. A kind friend came along. I brought 3 small portable AC machines and thanks to those we slept well . We also brought fans...It's a good size house w/ all the space we might have needed. We watched 2 movies on the tv roku. We decided to travel north the next morning just to uncomfortable. The carpet was clean yet wonder why one has carpet w/ pet rental... the linens under bedspreads were fine. bedspreads very worn and sofa too. We too a quilt and put it over the sofa...It just felt cleaner then... We're not prissy spoiled people. Just accustomed to not having to sweat all the time. A better choice for cooler days. a lovely large fireplace and well stocked kitchen. We timed it wrong and unfortunately no refund so we tried it out. Maybe with the extra funds we paid for days unused they'll consider installing AC I believe it would pay off.

The Property Management company for this property is very available and friendly. Because of this, there is hope for this house. It has been left to linger far too long. We walked in to a musty environment, animal hair all over the furniture and in and on the beds. One of the screen doors fell off when we opened it and one of the glass doors didn't open at all. Some of the electrical outlets worked, there were moldy dog treats under the bed and the deck was not up to code. I surely wouldn't send any overweight people out onto it. Stove handle fell off the first time we opened it and the exposed screws scraped people as they walked by. The master bedroom toilet was broken and we were left to fix it.

My wife, my daughters stayed here in mid June and had a nice stay. It’s very close to beautiful Lake Glenville and we were able to enjoy some paddle boarding, etc. the location is central to a lot of a great cities/towns including Asheville, Highlands, Bryson City. We made day trips to whitewater rafting, ziplining, waterfalls and mountain hikes. The house is not very updated with older carpeting, TVs and kitchen appliances but everything worked well enough. no air conditioning but luckily the weather was mild and we didn’t really need it. Booking and check-in/check out process was simple. I would stay here again.

Very relaxing and wonderful place!

Wonderful place for family that is looking for picturesque stay for family that wants to go out during the day to explore. We were able to spend evenings/morning together before heading out for activities. Full kitchen and plenty of beds. Deck is wonderful for a glass of wine at sunset or coffee at sunrise.

The property was old timey and so was the furniture no TVs in every room it really needs updating I was very disappointed

I arrive when it was dark and I couldn't find the entrance for the house immediately because I had no signal in my mobile. Would appreciate a sign once you get in innisfree. Also there were few stains in the carpet. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Great views and plenty of room for everyone. Heating is a little unusual and the decor and tvs need to be updated. Enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for our adventures in the surrounding areas.

The home was clean and well prepared. The large stone fireplace was exceptional and we enjoyed it thoroughly. As a side note and not one of criticism, but the interior and furnishings are a bit dated. This did not deter our enjoyment for the weekend but is more an item of note going forward. So many thanks for the time there.

Someone heavy will go through them. 2) The grill needs to be replaced, it is old and no one seems to use it. If not replaced, take it out. Who it this day and age does not have a gass grill????? 3) No details left in the house to tell you, how far the store is, where a good place to hike, etc. Most of the places we have stayed in does this. We have taken family trips like this for over 30 years, none of us can remember not having this type of info for the guest.4) The TVs need to be updated!! 5) The house smelled musty, maybe the carpet is the problem.

The property had a foul odor the first 1-2 days we stayed there, and the property manager apologized but did not attempt to resolve it. We put in air fresheners ourselves which helped dramatically. The decor is very very dated, but it served our purpose as it was close to the family we were visiting.
