Nice location, Overall nice home, but could use some updating. Decor was a bit outdated and drab especially paintings. Pros: Nice open spaces, large TV’s in each room, the handicap accommodations were very nice. Living room furniture was very nice and comfortable. Beautiful deck and front porch. Cons: Queen and bunk mattresses absolutely need to be replaced. You could feel the springs. There was a blind missing on the living room window, the broom was broken in half so it was difficult to sweep the kitchen floor, 2 of the dining room chairs had big splits in the vinyl seat, the tall top bed rail on the queen bed was not secured/broken so we sit it on the floor so it didn’t fall off during the night. Depending how you view it as a con or not, but the water gets extremely hot so you have to be very careful! Our biggest concern was lack of an exit from the lower level in the event of an emergency. There is a door to the outside, but it’s key locked by the owner, so if the stairwell were to get blocked you’d be trapped. All this being said with a few needed updates this could be a 5 star rental.

Got to say this house is very awesome with young children - located in the shallow side of the lake. My boys enjoyed kayaking by themselves, and yet I don't have to worry about them drowning since the deepest part is only 3 ft. The house had a few lights that were out, but after contacting the property manager, they got someone out to get those straightened out quickly. Overall it's definitely worthwhile staying in this property!

Living room furniture and mattresses (except master) need to be replaced. This property met our needs for family gathering.

Smooth and pain free

The house itself was great, plenty of room for myself, my parents, and our daughter. Flatscreen tvs in nearly every room, surround sound, and a well stocked kitchen. The master bedroom is very nice. The lake front itself is problematic. The only way to the lake is down a steep sloped yard with no stairs. When we stayed the grass had not been cut in a while, which made it very difficult to walk - this would be an issue for an older crowd or children. There is a little beach area, but it was overgrown with weeds. The lake itself is shallow, only waist height, and very very muddy. Not great for swimming. We had lots of fun kayaking and canoeing and had a great time at the public beach nearby. A good place to stay for the area, if you are not doing only lake activities. WiFi spotty,
