Had our 2nd visit to Hunters Height and was perfect again!
Clean and tidy and a perfect base to visit places around the Isle of Wight. Lovely touches for our 3 dogs too! Bowls, a supersize bed for them and towels and blankets!

a small but well equiped appartment but the approach road is unmade and needs to be driven on with caution.

A great place, self contained easy access. There is a kitchen area, clean and well appointed (no milk) but coffee and tea.
Lounge is comfy with 2 recliner chairs and a table with chairs. The bed is comfy and huge.
The bathroom is well done and the shower was magnificent.

Its peaceful and has amazing views
It’s situated amid many paths and trails as well as being a good place to explore this very beautiful part of the island by car
You can watch the sunset from the secluded bbq area lounging on comfy sofas
Marie is very welcoming - and yes we did enjoy the eggs from the hens who live there
Shade in the shared garden if needed
You can order bread etc from the village shop
Very good if you’re on a short break or a longer one

Very pleasant and relaxing. Quiet, several walks for dogs, bus service 10 minutes walk away which runs every ½ hour so it is possible to visit every part of the island without the use of a car.

Apartment well equipped and nice and private. Especially appreciated the fresh eggs!!
Took our puppy who was also very well looked after with her own dog bed, towel, blanket and bowls.

We had a lovely long weekend. Close drive to Ventnor, dog-friendly location. We’re welcomed with all the fixings for a comfortable stay including eggs from the hens and poopie bags for the dogs. Very communicative and thoughtful host.

Location is a bit hard to find but Marie gave clear instructions. Getting to the location requires a bit of off pavement driving and while the apartment was very quiet, it is not conveniently located to stores or restaurants. Very clean and well appointed with kitchen utensils and appliances. Washer / Dryer located on ground level, but did NOT use this time. Access requires using metal stairs, which can be a bit slippery when there is rain. Excellent parking on premises.

Lovely owner's who are Dog friendly & very accommodating,
They provide everything you should need , we had a lovely couple of days with our 3 dogs & 3 scooters, & we will certainly be back. Thank you both. xx

Lovely welcome from Marie who came laden with dog beds and towels for our dogs! Garden dog friendly and you can do walks from the flat. We were on a mission to look at IOW as my son getting married there next year so found all good.

Shame about the Wifi
Modern, light, breezy, well equipped and quality fitings. Just right for two people. Water and electricity worked perfectly, but as usual wifi was slow and more flaky than a French croissant. I did complain about it but despite promises of a new repeater nothing turned up.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this property. High quality equipemnt provided covered all our needs and more. and the owner has extensive knowledge of the island and is able to recommend places of interest and restaurants to visit.
