We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful cottage. It’s just a few minutes walk to the square and the location is perfect and so peaceful. I was able to work from home and go for walks and try the local coffee shops nearby. Very clean, Comfortable beds, amazing backyard to hangout in the evenings. I will definitely come back and stay there again.

We enjoyed staying at the Mason house. It was in a quiet neighborhood and a decent walking distance to downtown. The place was clean and very comfortable. We will rent again if the need arises in the future.

Cute house was centrally located for an easy walk to downtown & SU. Wish we’d been informed about potential construction next door and other guests on property prior to booking. Still a good trip & VRBO experience.

We enjoyed the house while we were in town for a basketball tournament over a three-day period. The house was very comfortable. Being close to downtown was awesome as well. Solid recommendation from us.

The Beautiful Decor and comfortable setting was enjoyed by all, and the “Special Treats” for us on the Dinning Table was appreciated . An extra plus was to be within walking distance of Georgetown’s Historic Square which was all lit up for the Holiday.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Mason House. It was updated, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood was charming and it was close to everything. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend getaway with my kids and grandkids , it was so relaxing . There was even games and toys for my 1 year old granddaughter . The property was so cute and cozy we just loved it . Great location 1 block from the Georgetown square . Definitely recommend. Host was prompt at replying . Overall 5 stars

The home was quiet and clean but there was a musty smell when we first walked in. This was our second year in a row and we enjoyed it once again. Only real complaint we had was the rule that we couldn’t set the AC below 74 degrees.

We found the Mason extremely cute, very roomy, close to town. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely property in a great location, close enough to walk to the Square. The amenities were very nice. However, the linens could benefit from an upgrade, as the sheets were polyester and not comfortable.

This was a lovely cottage with two bedrooms to choose from, a large living area, a nice bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen perfect for a get away. A nice walk from Georgetown square in a neighborhood with a good number of historical homes, it was a great location. There is work being done on a small area in the back but it did not disturb us. While it was nice being by so many restaurants we were happy that the kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, spices, utensils, etc to make it easy to cook whatever we wanted there. The beds were not the most comfortable but they worked for the weekend and that is more of a personal choice. There is a separate air conditioner for the back living area as it gets a bit hot, but the air conditioner helped.

Wonderful cottage - nice soothing decor yet had almost everything we needed for a quiet weekend while visiting family. Comfy beds, make sure to leave the bedroom doors cracked to keep them cool from the AC. Clear instructions, located in quiet but pretty area that's also close to shopping needs. Only thing to note is that you always need to pull Very Firmly on the doorknob so that the keypad deadbolt will catch and unlatch correctly. (Would also love a strategically located cutting board, I'm sure it's there but wasn't easy to find.) Everything was thoughtful and would definitely stay there again if needed to!

Home away from home! Bonded well with 2 grandkids who visited several times during our 10-day stay. Was able to do Pokémon games in-house, in the park and downtown Georgetown! Most likely will stay in same house if we do another summer trip to see the boys! Thanks!

We were in town visiting family and stayed at The Mason House. The home was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we needed, and the location was perfect - just a few blocks to the square. iTrip Vacations was great to work with. They were quick to respond to our questions, left a nice welcome basket, and offered us a late check-out. We highly recommend the Mason House and iTrip

This property does not disclose upfront that there is a resident on the property. A man lives on site in a small home a few feet from the back door. Our experience was he was drunk and stumbling around just outside our back door. He sits in a law chair which is right next the the back door so it was hard to use the backyard area. Add this along with all the window coverings being so sheer anyone could see in (bathroom included) it made my wife and daughter very uncomfortable and unsafe.

We stayed here a week while visiting family in the area. it was a great location, close to downtown Georgetown. The house is clean and well stocked.

We came to visit family nearby but wanted are own digs. Georgetown looked like fun, and it was. The house was immaculate, artfully decorated, and bright. Very newly restored, but with lots of artistic touches, beautiful linens and towels, and a lovely little backyard and picnic table. The owner contacts responded immediately to our call about operating the front door lock. Great, comfy, clean, light filled home.

The cottage in Georgetown is perfect for a small family (2 adults and 1 to 2 kids) . The house is in a great location and is an easy stroll to downtown to enjoy the restaurants and coffee. The backyard is quaint and has a nice table and a small barbecue. The owner and representative did a wonderful job answering all of our questions and the overall stay was fantastic. We look forward to returning.

I was visiting my best friend who lives near Austin so I was looking for something comfortable, not too far away and at a good price that fit my budget. I found this little gem and was so glad I did! I'd never heard of Georgetown before and it's such a beautiful little town I barely ventured out of it. The house is not necessarily child friendly, there is not a bathtub or toys or anything like that but my kids didn't mind at all because they loved the place. There are a lot of child friendly areas near by, we spent so much time at San Gabriel Park. We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift and the recommendations in the folder really meant a lot. My favorite part was the house itself. The house was absolutely gorgeous inside! The decor was beautiful and no detail went unnoticed. I really appreciated all the touches and the thoughtfulness that went into the property. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were extremely comfortable and the noise level in the area was perfect. Overall this was such an amazing experience I hope to come back again. It was so amazing I was searching for homes for sale haha. Thank you for everything!

This was a perfect get-away for 2 best friends to watch a virtual women’s conference. The home was clean, cozy, great wifi, and perfect walking distance to the square. We were greeted with sweet welcome goodies and very clear instructions every step of the way. Loved it!

Stayed at The Mason House while visiting family. iTrip was very responsive to all of questions and was kind enough to offer an early check-in, as we were flying in from out of state. The home was very clean, check-in was easy (no contact), beds were comfortable and the location was good. Great value for the price.

We had a lovely time at the Mason House where we stayed to be able to visit friends in Georgetown while staying safe about COVID. The space is roomy and comfortable with all the necessities one could need. The location meant it was easy to walk to the main square but the neighborhood is quiet and relaxed enough that we didn’t often feel the need to go anywhere. Thanks for a great stay!

The Mason House was a wonderful experience, within walking distance of town (about 5-10 minutes). During the three weeks we stayed there, the house served us well and everything was very clean and taken care of. Any issues we had during our stay were quickly resolved. We felt very safe, and would often take walk with our two kids to and from town, and several of the playgrounds nearby. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a long or short stay within walking distance of Georgetown!
