This was one of the nicest VRBO my husband and I have ever stayed at. It is nicely updated and the decor is adorable and beachy. Exceedingly clean. The entire process was stress free and easy. Keyless entry made check in/out a breeze. Good water pressure, nice towels and linens, washer that gets your clothes clean, lots of dishware, sharp knives, and little extras not usually at properties, like plastic baggies, throws to cover up on the couch and a welcome basket with snacks. Nice ocean view. 10 minute walk to the beach (down/up a big hill) with amazing sunsets every night. Temperature easily managed by either opening windows or turning on wall AC units. Easy access to highways and shopping. Recommend the Fish Market for reasonably priced dinner. Overall the experience was awesome and this unit is worth the price. Thank you!!

I rent more than 45 days in total a year in the SD area. This property is in Really good location and very clean! I will be back to this property again.

The beach house was very clean, very accommodating, and was well stocked. The property was well organized and very comfortable. Only thing that didn’t work was the fireplace and we didn’t know until we got here. Would’ve worked to have known ahead of time. I thought some of the communication through VRBO was a little confusing to understand for me. I’m not great at technology. But being able to contact Doug directly was good.

We stayed at this property for 4 1/2 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and location.

The House is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The rental process was easy Doug responded to all communications very quickly. The house has everything you need to have an amazing time.

We loved our stay. It exceeded expectations in every category. We were going to a wedding at the L’auberge Del Mar and this property was close by. Check in was seamless and the host was always available. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and had everything you need. Extremely clean and comfortable. If I was to stay in the area again, I’d without a doubt reserve this property. Thank you!

everything was exactly as described. Welcome basket was a nice suprise and this place had so many little extras that are not normally included. Will definitly stay in this exact same unit the next time we're in the area - could not have fit our needs/wants any better.

The place was awesome. As listed. Cozy, family friendly, clean, excellent t and convenient location made everything about this experience so pleasant. We were there for a wedding and wanted place where the kids can move around and we can relax. Doug was reachable and so accommodating. He pays attention to the small detail and the welcoming basket was the icing on the cake. There was welcome card, a binder full of information (restaurants, directions, instructions with expectations and the whole nine) a wine bottle, popcorn and chocolate. My kids loved it, me and my wife loved it. Will def comeback if we come to San Diego again.

When I say best I mean it. The rental property was very clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Kitchen and living room are beautiful, and the back porch gives amazing views of the ocean. The added amenities in the garage made this stay even better. Riding the bikes to the beach was very fun. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Solona Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious, clean and had everything we could need in the kitchen and elsewhere. We had a hiccup with Wifi, but the owner was responsive and fixed the issue quickly. Great walking location to the beach and to shops and restaurants.

Perfect location and so close to beach. Our family had more than enough space, we LOVED the kitchen and laundry! The property was exceptionally clean and everything you could possibly need was available.....even boogie boards and bikes! We definitely will stay here again. Rozelyn was in contact with us throughout to see if we needed anything. The toaster was broken and she even brought us a new one. Amazing location! Unobstructed view of the ocean, overlooking the horse track. Located approx 1/4 mile from beaches, the Cedro Design District and great restaurants within walking distance. This property was clean with every amenity we needed. Owner was very responsive and exceedingly generous (she lent us a high chair and stroller!) She cares about the quality of her property and it shows - she met us personally at check in to introduce herself and make sure we were comfortable. She left an incredible gift basket with wine and goodies. Very thoughtful. We look forward to a return visit!

We loved this little gem right in the heart of it all! Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and the beach! We loved its location to Encinitas and Torrey Pines as well. The space in the condo is large and cozy! We enjoyed down time watching shows in the spacious living room, and also loved our morning runs from the condo into town and beyond! Wished the pool was heated, but we made due with the beach instead. Rozelyn was a wonderful host! We loved the welcome gift and great communication throughout the booking, stay and checkout! Will definitely be back!

Unit nicely furnished and well supplied. We loved the view of the ocean and of the Del Mar racetrack. Many wonderful stores & restaurants close by. Owner responded in a timely manner to all of our questions. Highly recommend.

This property is absolutely amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The owner has thought of everything and then some. There are little touches throughout that as a visitor you never expect or think to expect (rubber bands and hair clips, ladies?) and the owner has thought of everything you might need to feel at home. It was a perfect spot for our ladies weekend. The gathering areas were roomie and spacious, perfect for hanging out in the evenings. A short 5-10 minute walk from the beach and loads of restaurants. And across the street from the tracks.

Our family of four (including a 4 and 7 year old) had a wonderful stay here. It was exactly as advertised- the home was spacious and well-appointed but comfortable for small kids to play in. The balcony was an added plus with the amazing fireworks show on the 4th! It was truly breathtaking. My kids loved the pool and the beach gear, and with Fletcher’s Cove around the corner we really had the true beach vacation experience! Added pluses- the kitchen was so lovely I actually wanted to cook every day (this never happens) and the owner went over and above to be helpful and accessible. We’ve been to San Diego several times over recent years, but hands down, this was our best vacation ever thanks in large part to our stay here!

We arrived later than we expected but when we made it we felt at home. We had a great view and the home was very clean. Rozelyn gave us so many recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. We are hoping to visit again!

If there is one word that summarizes our stay at the Beach House with a View, it's "perfect"! From the communication while booking and leading up to our stay, to the accommodations provided while staying, the condo, the view, the location, everything... It was perfect. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our stay. In fact, of all the places we've stayed using VRBO throughout the years, the Beach House with a View, and particularly Rozelyn, have reset the bar for receiving an "excellent" review. We can't wait to return to San Diego and stay at the Beach House with a View!

We could not have asked for a better place to retreat to during Spring Break with our girls. Upon arriving at the condo we discovered a wonderful basket of goodies (and wine : ) that Rozelyn had left for us. Such a treat! The condo was immaculate, clean, and cozy (pictures are a true representation of what you will experience in person). We enjoyed the views of the Del Mar Racetrack and ocean from the dining table, balcony, and living room. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a simple breakfast to cooking a full dinner (BBQ works great). The beds were heavenly and the bedrooms are very spacious. Rozelyn made it easy for us to find local restaurants that are now favorites of ours to return to on our next vacation to Del Mar. It is perfectly situated close to shopping (Whole Foods). Restaurants and the beach are within walking distance, as well as, wonderful walking trails with sunset views. I highly recommend this for any one looking for a relaxing getaway with all the ammenities you enjoy at home.

My wife and I just spent a week at this property, joined by two others for 4 days, and we found the property stunning and offering every amenity we could want. The location provides easy access to beaches, parks, farmer's markets, and everything else the San Diego area offers. We could go most anyplace within San Diego with a 30 minute or less drive. And, there are several beaches you can walk to or access via a short drive. It's quiet, very comfortable, and the host, Rozelyn, makes you feel so welcome. She provides a great "welcome" basket and tons of tips and ideas for your stay. All the beach visit goodies are provided along with four bikes which were used every day. We definitely hope to come back, and hope to do it soon. I can't imagine anyone having a problem with this property. Book it now and prepare to be very pleased with your choice.

My family and I (total of 4) stayed here for the week of Spring Break and had a great time. Condo was in immaculate condition and owner was very easy to work with; she let us a welcome package and came over the first day to introduce herself and show us the amenities. Location was perfect for our activities, and the nearby beaches were great for families with young kids. Condo was very spacious and well stocked with cookware, cutlery, spices, etc and even has a bbq on the patio for guest use. The next time we're in the area we'll definitely see if this rental is available.

We stayed in the first week of July and got to enjoy the spectacular 4th of July firework show right from our balcony. Definitely the best seats in Solana Beach... This condo is so beautifully furnished and decorated, comfortable, and equipped with anything you would want for a day a the beach. Not to mention, Rozelyn, is so hospitable. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket, and she was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, and anything else we needed. This is definitely the best beach condo I have ever stayed in. Can't wait to come back.

Every detail in this "little slice of paradise" has been covered! The house is spacious; everyone in our family of four had their own place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. All the appliances and furnishings are high-end and well cared for. Rozelyn is so gracious and welcoming; her restaurant and destination recommendations are wonderful. We also LOVED having the beach accessories there for our enjoyment. We have stayed in several vacation rentals throughout the years; this house is the best we have stayed in - by far! Thank you Rozelyn for providing a space that made our vacation the best ever!

We stayed in mid-March 2015. - great location - spacious condo - high-quality appliances, awesome high-quality bedding & beds, high quality everything. - she thinks of ALL the details (even simple things like ziplock bags, tupperwares, coolers, ice packs, bikes, beach toys, packing tape, scissors...)it's home away from home! - Roz was so helpful with restaurant recommendations, nearby sights, etc. - our boys (ages 10 + 12) LOVED the Xbox games that they could play Halo with! - she even had Mac computer there for us to use.
