Host is not helpful AT ALL! Asked for a contact number in case of emergency, refused to give it. Instead said to msg thru vrbo. In emergency a chat option thru messenger is not helpful! The furniture is old and worn out, felt like back in a college dorm. The front desk people are of zero help. There is only 1 key so if you are there with a group it’s hard to strike out on your own or if you do you have to coordinate with the entire party otherwise you may be locked out. Location was great. Walking distance to several museums and parks. Parking was ok, the parking garage was always full but there is another one at SKY55 two blocks away. Cleanliness was so-so. Carpets has several large stains. Some stains on the walls. Bath/showers have old rusty hardware. There was hair in one of the beds though the host reports they change sheets between guests. Overall not great. If you’re going to spend this kind of money go to a hotel where it’s clean, friendly, and available to help you if needed.

We were very pleased with this property for our 4-day stay in Chicago. The check-in process was easy as the owners provided us with detailed/step-by-step instructions as to how to enter the secure building, retrieve the keys, and enter the unit. The unit itself was inviting, well stocked and clean. The view is breathtaking from all windows! Communication with the owners during our stay was always prompt and thorough. We had no problems with internet/cable/HVAC or water. The building itself felt safe, was quiet and the elevators were quick. The rooftop lounge/grill area was wonderful with the gas fireplaces on a cool night. We loved the convenience to shopping, restaurants and museums. We walked in the daytime and had short Uber rides at night. Was just a short walk to several grocery and liquor stores for necessities. Would definitely recommend this property for a small group or family and would stay again in the future.

Host was very clear and responsive to all of our questions. Detailed in the check in/check out procedures. Location was perfect location for our itinerary of the city. The view of the lake and skyline, especially at night was gorgeous. Would use again next trip to Chicago.

Pros: The location was awsome and the view of Grant park and the lake was really good. On Sunday night, Navy pier had fireworks and we had a perfect view. There was good documentation on the check in process. We felt safe with the fob security of the building. Cons: The apartment was cleaned, but the carpet was old and has significant stains. One of couches is really worn out, you can feel the frame when sitting on it. The towels were clean, but had stains, one of rooms comforter had a brown sticky stain (they did come and change it), the iron did not work, the ironing board was broken. We would only stay here again, if they fixed these items.

Really nice location and condo! Target and Trader Joe's just a block or two away. Bike rentals across the street. Short walk to the lake and museums. Condo was clean and well furnished! Owners we responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a great time and would return for sure! Thanks a bunch!

For our purposes the location was perfect. Great views of Grant Park and Lake Michigan.

Our family of 4 stayed at this property for almost a week. The location was within walking distance of major sites and just a block away from public transportation. Instructions and tips from the owners were easy to follow and super helpful. They were very responsive from booking to leaving. If returning to Chicago, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The condo is very well located, within an easy walk of most places we wanted to go. Access to the Orange Line to Midway is about two blocks away. Views are also spectacular, especially at night. We had one minor issue and the owners addressed it immediately.

Fabulous location 10 stories above the SW edge of Grant Park, with a beautiful rounded corner window looking NE. Short walk from train; shopping and restaurants within steps; attentive host and great space with big, comfortable beds. A fabulous base for three nights in Chicago. We walked everywhere once we arrived from Museum Campus station (a 5 min walk), but Metra trains are close by for longer travels. The apartment was just as pictured and described--we couldn't have been happier.

This property is a great location and close to everything central Chicago. THERE IS NO PARKING. The garage next to the building was always full and, even when space was visible, was not open to non-card guests. And, driving around looking for space is not an option. If you do not need a car (and public transportation is close by) this place is ideal.

Great location for a family trip with little kids, only 12 minutes walking distance to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium. Nice city view, great restaurants near by. Parking was a little tricky but manageable with thoughtful Instruction from host. I will definitely come back again next time travel to Chicago.

My family had the pleasure of renting this lovely 2 bedroom condo with a great view of Lake Michigan, and most beautiful skyline of any american city! It was very calming and relaxing! Thanks to the host for providing the 4 C's...clean, cozy, comfortable beds. and convenience to Grant Park and great eats! When our schedule will permit, we plan to stay here again! Highly recommend this condo if you want to stay in the South Loop area. Very spacious, clean, fantastic views, really good host. We will definitely be back.
